When I first laid eye on this ugly son of a bitch I hated him, but somehow he grew on me like a tumor. He ended up being part 3's saving grace, really underrated character. Felt great that so much of the animation budget went into his fights, well fucking spent.

Giving Polnareff beaver-teeth was one of the few things the OVA did right. Makes me wonder if he got them filed down in canon, given that his child-self had fucking enormous ones. Nice trips.
