I guess it depends on how much you want to know.

The game is in general much more compact than chess because of how many pieces only move a few squares, with very localized skirmishes. Because of that, the one rook (and to a lesser extent the bishop) is incredibly important to pressuring those positions and is usually central to attacking strategies. The drop rule might seem to change everything but really it just means that king safety is still very important despite so many pieces having such limited movement; it's not nearly as bonkers in it would be in regular chess.
