I've seen some retards champion 3-gatsu for being aired on NHK as if it were a good thing. Sadly this is not the case.

FujiTV pretty much owns daytime anime, TBS and TV Asashi have the best drama ratings. NHK has a very bad reputation among young Japanese people for being the de facto government mouthpiece and having overall really shit production values (expected since it's public TV). Anime publishers don't really choose NHK for their daytime anime as their 1st or even 8th option because a) They would work on an even tighter budget, b) The audience are mainly old people who only watch the news at night, c) There are much better stations with better ratings on anything that isn't a news program, d) NHK is very conservative so they would probably get involved with the production and change things.

I think it's excellent, actually. She's got some of my favorite paneling/composition of any mangaka. It's a very shoujo-ish approach, though, so I understand some anons not liking it if they aren't used to that. You usually have more conservative paneling when cramming lots of speech bubbles to make it easier to read and follow. The thing about Umino is that her art is kind of garbage and she doesn't usually have pauses where she lets the art speak for itself, probably because as I said she's not a very good artist.
