Felt is objectively a much more interesting character than Emilishit and the Oldman semigiant a much more entertaining character to watch than all the characters introduced afterwards.

The loli, the fag mime-clown retard and 90% of the characters introduced after the first arc have been a little more than ornaments so far, maybe it changes in the upcmoming episodes though.
The pacing is also terrible.

Most of /a/ and including myself keeps watching it just for Rem.

I just hope author won't prematurely end story in season 2 and make people read rest in manga or novel. That has happened too many times with anime adaptations.

Rem is in coma since the end of arc 3, basically she is absent from the novel for years. If this is only waifubait you don't earase her presence in the plot for tons of chapters.
