Episode 6 soon.
Looks like fight some nigger this time.
I'm surprised Ikta doesn't get more rep. He's the MC I've wanted for so long. He's not a prude or even a virgin, knows what he wants and how to achieve it, knows how to have fun, confident and cocky, has just the right amount of edge to make him interesting but doesn't go completely into the crawling in my skin tier.
This guy is a fucking boss.
Except for the fact that the show wanks him at every opportunity, even for the most basic of shit, and even for the retarded shit. But other than that, yeah, he's somewhat an improvement.
If you tell humans "no you can't", someone someone will disprove it and go "no you can".
Still waiting on them to say "no you can't set up a colony on the moon" and someone to actually say "fuck you, I can and I will" and do it.
Maybe we need an alien invasion to encourage it. Humanity only ever does great things when their very lives are at stake.
>hey everybody I'm so silly
>aw yiss big-titted girl you know i want dat
>did somebody just say something UNSCIENTIFIC?
>ok s'all good
>imma just take a nap in dis tree aight
>He's not a prude or even a virgin, knows what he wants and how to achieve it, knows how to have fun, confident and cocky, has just the right amount of edge to make him interesting but doesn't go completely into the crawling in my skin tier.
Indeed. He's intelligent, nihilistic, and with a wicked sense of humor, just like me.
If Ikta was less preachy he'd be many times improved, there's a huge disconnect between the unremarkable things that come out of his mouth and the show's insistence that it makes him remarkable.
Do we get any more battles at least, It's the high point of the show with Ikta being a cocky fucker.
Considering how Nazi this people are is kind of impressive how Ikuta goes unpunished (or with joke punishments) all the time.
If he wasn't the main character Just defiying their superiors would have him killed.
>Two sword style is for fighting multiple enemies
This triggered me. Isn't the long sword and parry dagger she uses kind of a duelist thing? Shouldn't she use both specially when dueling 1v1?
something i still don't get : what purpose/role do those spirit partners have in all this except for that one time in the first episode where Kus helped the MC see the drowning princess and save her..
do i have to read the LN to find out ?
>not the same generic bullshit.
Overpowered MC is generic as well new friend, everyone in the show become dumbed down to a whole new level just to wank how genius MC is because the author can't write actually intelligent protagonist
The shitty char design also doesn't help
Just look at this unappealing nigger
Yeah, he gets stopped by his friend whenever he's about to STICK IT TO THE MAN because he's too WILD AND DANGEROUS MOTHERFUCKER YEEHAW and she doesn't want him to potentially face some sort of punishment for all his bullshit
Do some of LNfags seriously think that ending of volume 1 is great? i'm relieved when i find out Madhouse decided not adapt this scene til last episode, because in my view, that scene is so fucking retarded, but some of LNfags seems get mad and think they should adapt as soon as they can.
>what purpose/role do those spirit partners have in all this except for that one time in the first episode where Kus helped the MC see the drowning princess and save her..
Wind spirits help gunners to use their air rifle. Water spirits produces ice to help paramedics heal wounds. Light spirits for locating and giving signals. Not sure about fire.
Was this talk basically Ikta's cynical remarks on Hime's masterplan? It doesn't make sense now if they haven't show it.
So this wasn't aimed at Ikta but at Kanna? Genius.
He's a shittier version of Yang Wenli
We need a proper pic related
Tell me /a/, does my main man Ikta get to bone his cute subordinate girl?
At least there Ikta's "hate Ikemen" shtick actually has some merit when he doesn't look much like a pretty boy himself.
Holy war soon, comrades.
>What are you expect from an Allahu Akbar empire? that's why Republic is a better country.
Isn't this more applicable to Catholics in The Dark Ages? I mean, designs wise it's not similar and Islam probably has more similarity but wasn't Catholics the ones who banned science?
The thing is that there's clearly been some advancements that aren't completely magic based in that society.
So the idea that the mere concept of science isn't even known by upperclass people like his clique lacks credibility.
Its set in no real time.
Seriously, what the fuck is up with the setting in this? You have republics, Empires that take bloodlines and successions really fucking seriously, religious devotion to the point of censorship and punishment for "heresy", anachronistic lab coats and military uniforms and fatigues clashing with the peasantry and regular clothes, printing press, guns, hot air balloons yet no rudimentary mode of transport besides horses, you'd think with them pretty much having access to late 1800s tech there would at least be steam locomotives, the army is also all over the place with both gender conscription/enlistment, guns, swords, crossbows and modern military conduct and tactics being employed simultaneously but people are so fucking shit at commanding that you'd think they are displaced in time with their almost lack of awareness of their own tech and warfare level.
I have no fucking clue what's going on with the world and last week's episode made that shit worse with Anarai's lab. All these idiosyncrasies and anachronisms are giving me an aneurysm
>whoa something I don't agree with happened, good thing I'm here to give them a speech, get hit then somehow win the fight by using muh science
This shit's barely tolerable one time, but they wank him so hard it becomes annoying.
He's an overwanked Gary Stu but he's my kind of overwanked Gary Stu.
I feel absolutely no shame in saying I find him very fun to watch.
Was the brown princess Takahashi Rie?
Man she's been making more and more roles.
Wonder if she's a pillow seiyuu, I mean hopefully she moved up in the world because of her talent but who knows
Reminder that Baltzer anime never.
It's just kind of weird how she got 3 main roles last summer after being the sideline character for like one or two seasons before that.
Not that I care though, her voice is good and that's what matters.
The day Ikta fails catastrophically for being a smartass and has a break down he'll be a much better character.
It's ok that he's a lazy genius but I don't like it how everything goes his way.
Nip authors these days don't seem to understand that characters get more relatable and the story gets more interesting when they actually face hardships and fail once in a while.
I really dislike characters who seem to run through the story with cheat codes like this.
Arslan Senki kinda suffered from the same problem until the king fucked everyone over royally.
In Alderamin the problem is exacerbated by the fact that the people Ikta opposes are ignorant, bigoted and outright evil to make him look cooler when he effortlessly beatd them while delivering some witty one liner.
An intelligent antagonist to actually challenge him would make wonders for the story and characters.
