Basically the theme of the art in the guidebook is a high school setting inspired by life is strange. Each character is paired with another for the answers. It goes Jean + Armin, Eren + Levi, Erwin + Hanji, Mikasa on her own, Connie + Sasha, Bert + Ernie, and Annie + Hitch. Each grouping has 3 parts: In-universe, American high school universe, and a biography for each character alongside relationship panels, misc. facts, and drawings of them.

I'll start with the American high school au answers since they're pretty funny.

Q: Starting off, in a modern American high school setting, what would Jean and Armin look like?
A: Armin is the band geek who charms the lollipops off of people. Jean is the type to wear gaudy outfits for the sole purpose of being unique, but it's really garish and makes him look like a tryhard.

Q: Oh no, Jean! (lol) But Armin's in a band? What instrument does he play?
A: He's in a band outside of the marching as well. In school, he plays the violin, while in his band he plays the guitar and synths. He sings as well.

Q: Wow, that's incredible! Does Jean do anything like that?
A: Jean is a track and field member. He's one of the fastest runners, but none of the other teammates like him very much.

Q: That's unfortunate to hear. Why don't they like him?
A: He smells bad (lol). He's rude and arrogant as well, and a bully.

Q: So he wants to be accepted...
A: He does. He studies hard but believes that his status overrides his personality so he doesn't work on it. For example, in this type of setting, he smashed Armin's violin on the first day of junior year.

A: Marco forced him to buy Armin one that was twice the amount Armin spent on the broken one.

Q: Did Armin forgive Jean!?
A: Armin forgave him, but he won't ever forget it. That was his grandpa's violin.
