Can we have a thread with Isane in the OP?
Some faggots might say that is heresy. I for one think she looks cute, and has grown up a little. She did not fall apart when Unohana died.
>"The Big Book Of Everything Kubo Hyped, But Never Delivered - Now Fully Explained"
Just to clarify, it's the first Radio Kon in ten fucking years. What a joke.
So I feel bothered that Renji isn't one of the new captains. Like I always kind of figured from about the soul society arc on that Renji would make captain some day and when Byakuya got fucked up I took it as the very obvious setup for that to occur.
But no apparently he's still a lieutenant. I figure it's obvious that he's more powerful than about half of the current and new captains, but as of this arc isn't he supposed to be one of THE very most powerful soul reapers? Like top three non-ichigo tier?
I mean jokes about Renji jobbing aside he SHOULD theoretically be ultra suited for it
Captains other than from the 11 squad spend all their time doing paper work. Renji does not want to do that bullshit, and is perfectly satisfied being VC, and doing foot work like Ikkaku.
Get your head slammed into the wall you ESL faggot. I hope you get caught stealing internet and the police beat the shit out of you and throw you in jail.
There's two possibilities. First, he only wants to be the captain of the Sixth Division. He can't do that until Byakuya fucks off. Second, it could be that he wants to be Rukia's Vice Captain.
The entire point of Renji's character is that he's a stray dog looking for his day. He'll always aim for great heights, but fall short. That's why his loss to Byakuya in the SS arc is so heartbreaking, and why the few times since that he's squeaked out small victories were fun. It's(usually) entertaining because he's not a downer about it; he'll always get up and try again. He'll always be hopeful, so its not an example of Kubo being a sadist or anything.
He's a less shitty Rock Lee.
>you wouldn't fuck both pussy and non-pussy versions of 2nd best boy and actual best girl
Stop, son. You're talking like a faggot.
Isane looks so moe blobbish.
I want to hug her.
That is NOT the picture I posted. What in the hell?
Renji's waiting outside the room for the ceremony. If he's still a lieutenant of the Gotei 13, of ANY division, then he should be inside.
So Renji must be no longer in the Gotei 13 and has been promoted to the Zero Division in some capacity.
Alternatively, Renji just entered immediately before or after Rukia and him being outside was meaningless. But that would mean that he didn't get promoted while Rukia went from unseated all the way to captain, which is just sad.
If you look at the collective of captains now and compare it to the captains who were around back in the SS arc, you can tell that the Gotei 13 are really, REALLY scraping the bottom of the barrel these days.
Also, to push the dog analogy further; dogs are dumb. You can kick them and give it enough time they'll love you again. Please don't kick dogs, though.
>Komamura may be dead or at the very least is still in Shib mode
Don't do this to me bleach, at least say he's still around and a powerful dog monster or some shit. He's had it so
Ruffdon't do this too him too.
Image glitches do happen, but it's highly unlikely that you would get another Bleach image due to 4chan messing up. You probably just posted the wrong picture from your Bleach folder.
Renji could be a lieutenant in the Zero Division
if Ichigo is a captain in the Zero Division and selected Renji as his lieutenant.
It's a crack theory but it explains why Renji isn't inside the room and why his badge isn't visible.
>weaker than the current captains
And how many of them know the true name of their Zanpakuto?
He's arguably stronger than anyone in that room, with the only valid arguments being Rukia, Kenapchi when he isn't jobbing to himself, Toshiro in Fullbring-thefujosout mode and at a far stretch: Kyoraku and Byakuya.
>Jobs to Yhwach
Who doesn't? The only people actually able to stand on that battlefield are Ichigo, best boy Aizen, the silver arrowhead (not even the actual arrow or Uryuu) and Renji himself.
I just hope Ichigo is still some kind of factor in the soul society, even if its just his normal position of an on call guy they ask to fuck shit up every now and then.
I REALLY don't want him to have put down his sword forever or not gotten it fixed or any of that shit, especially since we got a whole arc of why that doesn't fucking work for him.
I really hate the "anime hero beat up this badguy so he retires into noncombatant status forever" trend
>She would have never of had that chance if it wasn't for Byakuya.
Sure, but its does not change the fact she is adapt with controlling her spirit energy at an early age. Both her and Renji joined together, and separated depending on their talents, work ethics, and connections. So was the old ways of Soul Society. She obviously worked hard to get accepted by meeting all the criteria.
Like Iba did by being adapt in every field to become a VC. Since he was not particularly talented in any field. Iba was a hard worker, and became qualitified.
>really scrapping the bottom of the barrel
Come on anon, stop merely pretending to be retarded.
Of course it seems that way. The captains were the strongest in soul society and had their strength displayed as well as built up through hype and anticipation merely by virtue of the nature of their station.
We remember when all the new captains were not at that level, and we know no one even in that picture is at old-man genocide's level, not even Base Aizen.
If we were introduced to the current captains as they are at the start of the story, we would be intrigued by how strong they possibly are and what they could possibly do because we didn't know at the time. We already have a preconceived notion that the new captains who moved up are far out of their league, with the possible exception of Rukia because Royal Guard training.
>Which ultimately means she didn't go through the struggle that Renji did.
Both Rukia and Renji struggled.
He never jobbed, did anything stupid, and always seems to be there when he is needed. Seems like the best reasons to like a character to me.
That definitely won't be the case for Ichigo. At worst, he's still a substitute Shinigami in the real world who runs off and kills Hollows whenever he gets an alert.
However, that doesn't pay any bills and would interfere with whatever job Ichigo would have (still at Unagiya?!). He would be Peter Parker, and Peter Parker's life sucks.
What did he actually do?
>Fought Ikkaku at the end of the Soul Society arc. It was a draw but they weren't really serious
>Chastised Ikkaku for holding back with Bankai and losing during the start of Fake Karakura
>Cut down by Aizen disguised as Hinamori
>Carried transformed Komamura towards the Quincy citadel. They never arrived
>securing the doggy for fetish reasons?
You mean "providing unequivocal support to your squad captain who sacrificed himself to defeat his opponent"? It's like you don't even loyalty.
>So I feel bothered that Renji isn't one of the new captains. Like I always kind of figured from about the soul society arc on that Renji would make captain some day
Didn't they all just advance in their own squads or were reinstated in case of Visoreds?
>byakuya dying ever
What does 'wasted character' even mean? Is it another version of "my personal expectations were set too high and therefore I was not satisfied by that result"? Sounds like butthurt to me.
No, he just created the hottest character in the series and had her do absolutely fucking nothing the entire way through. She barely even registers as a character
Kubo is so fucking shit. Thank fuck this shit is ending.
Mayuri's original design is so much better than later incarnations, it's not even funny.
The latest design of him is fucking retarded.
I honestly thought she would have a little something to do with the final assault on the sky palace. being a healer, and a VC. I was expecting her to bet a least a panel or two keeping the other VCs alive from the sniper nigga. Her, and the other were never seen from again till the second to last chapter. No wait, we still haven't seen Omaeda, or Sentaro. Let alone Hanataro
I guess I should feel grateful she did not get off paneled, or forgotten.
What does Renji's new bankai even do? I know it can shoot shit but it could always do that, does it make him stronger?
It looks great but that doesn't make a whole bankai unfortunately.
While we're on that note what the fuck did Unohana's bankai do? Acid blood?
>Why could people talk to her.
She was materialized.
>Why did she have a shikai.
It was a fake made by her sword powers, like Zangetsu's Unlimited Blade Works. Isane observed that it was unlike any other known Shikai,
>Who gave her her her uniform.
Who cares? It was just a robe. Orihime and Ishida knocked out some Shinigami and stole some, too.
>How did she become a vice captain.
Kenpachi can appoint whoever he wants.
>Zanpakuto in a physical form are indistinguishable from Shinigami- see Nimaiya Ouetsu's harem
-'Shikai' had no release command; not actually a Shikai or at least an entirely different form of release altogether, as noted by Isane
-Captains choose their own VCs, answers both of your final questions
Any further response here is 90% likely to be trolling.
To be fair, the only other zanpakuto spirit that appeared while its wielder was still a kid was Hitsugaya's, and that was a dragon of unspecified age. That's not enough data for one to be sure they don't change.
Hi, complete outsider here.
Would it be possible to start reaching bleach for the first time and finish it before the ending spoilers get posted?
i really want to enjoy the series before you faggots start posting the ending all over the internet next week and RUIN everyone's experience trying to read it
>What does Renji's new bankai even do? I know it can shoot shit but it could always do that, does it make him stronger?
Has a hand that can stretch and grow that has unbelievable gripping strength
And a sword that swallows his opponent whole
>Would it be possible to start reaching bleach for the first time and finish it before the ending spoilers get posted?
>i really want to enjoy the series before you faggots start posting the ending all over the internet next week and RUIN everyone's experience trying to read it
There will be little to spoil. The only real mystery is where Ichigo ended up after the final battle.
She was just an unimportant character from the beginning. You'd have to be retarded to think she would ever do something useful.
Now Tessai on the other hand... that guy was the fucking captain of the kidou corps, yet he did absolutely nothing.
are we ever going to get a Bleach game that actually covers any of this arc? It hadn't occurred to me until seeing the Brave Souls ad in last week's issue, but Heat the Soul and all the other one off games all dried up in the HM arc.
Nah MS did the shit TL. He was speaking about yamamoto and didn't call himself "mountain man".
qt nemu also the Chapter title is quite different.
He probably is the strongest... in a few hundred years.
Throughout Bleach it's stated tons of times that he has the strongest ice zanpakuto and that he's a genius, but that he still needs more years to become fully proficient.
I bet you, if there would be a hundred year timeskip Hitsugaya would be CC of the gotei.
The game is actually making money, it might live long enough for the quincy arc, we are already getting dangai ichigo and possible final form Aizen, after that there is only fullbringers and quincies.
Unless they want to do a bount gacha first....
Much as I like srpg, for bleach the game has to fast, either a musou or fighting game, is just too dammed slow to play otherwise.
3rd phantom was good, but I played with fast forward the whole way through.
There's peace hence literally no reason to see ichigo. In the last 1.5 year timeskip she never saw him why would this be any different. The only other way would be if ichigo is dead
To be fair they just went through what was, arguably, the biggest conflict in all of Soul Society's history. It's not like they had spare top-tier captains waiting among the rank and file. Plus Squad 4 is a support/healing squad, so you can't just promote any random soldier to that position.
there was peace when Rukia first met Ichigo, too. whether he's the soul king, a normal human, or back to being a substitute shinigami, there are any number of excuses to have them cross paths over the course of 10 years
but VC's do a lot of talking with subordinates and VC's of other divisions, him trying to communicate would be like shinigami version of Lassie, where he barks and shinigami try to guess is it a hollow or did a kid get stuck in a well
This line of thinking just goes against everything ichigo is. He's no king. I could never see him even being a captain let alone soul king.
I kind of hope he's just running the clinic now.
an actual translation
>果て: the end; the extremity; the limit; the limits; the result
once again mangastream proves between poor decisions and ourgith incompetant that they just won't/can't translate for shit
Mangastream mistranslated it.
Raw says 無欠の果て. See pic related. Which means "The End (果て) of Flawlessness (無欠)".
"A perfect End" literally means the opposite and is a meme translation by Mangastream which isn't implied at all. Basically out of their ass.
Didn't Shunsui, when releasing Aizen, mention that someone proficient enough could communicate through Reiatsu?
Also him learning to use his spirit pressure like that would make nice pottery with his buddy Tousen's compensating for his blindness.
first off we know next to nothing about what the role of the soul king is. what we do know is that it means being the lynchpin that keeps the 3(?) worlds separated. Ichigo's entire character revolves around one and only one gimmick: that he won't stand down from protecting someone if he knows its in his power to save them. The soul king is the most logical extreme of that sole defining character trait. He protects everyone.
Don't be stupiud, it's not some bullshit meme, it's just them being bad at what they do. "Flawlessness" and "Perfection" are synonymous, that's not any kind of a stretch. What they fucked up was assuming it was an adjective and not a noun. Given that's it's a crude title and not a sentence there's no indicator of subject or object and apparently they took liberties with that. To many, obviously. To translate it as "Perfection's End" would've been acceptable and closer to their line of thinking. The issue was that they mistook The End and wound up arranging it more along the lines of "The End's Perfection" then fiddled with the structure to try to make it smoother.
>Have been reading Bleach weekly since spring 2005
>The Aizen is the villain reveal was still going on
>11 years invested in this series
>ends next week
I feel nothing.
This is a basic sentence structure. Either their translator is literally retarded or it's a meme translation where someone just inserts what he feels like when he doesn't get a sentence. You can't fuck this one up, if you know japanese.
How do we not know if Ywach will be the new soul king trapped inside a stasis crystal? Last we saw was Ichigo cutting him in two. Weather or not that means he dies is yet to be seen. Hiyori was cut in two and survived. maybe they used him to be the new linchpin and is also trapped in a stasis crystal.
yeah and like i just said, their translator is just literally retarded. it's not like i'm defending them, I'm explicitly stating that they don't know what the hell they're doing
No, it was Ikkaku who didn't want to be a captain. Ikkaku was insistent on staying with Zaraki. Renji was also insistent on sticking around to one-up Byakuya. Hisagi's a Kensei fanboy. Kira's ambiguously not-dead. and Love wanted to stay on Earth to read manga. I don't know who else is eligible for captaincy. Urahara, Tessei, Yoruichi, and Isshin I guess? Now that all their respective bullshit is more or less a bunch of non-issues.
I remember first opening this chapter and thinking I skipped one somewhere.
Like it went directly from the panel yhwach getting cut in half for like the 4th time to "10 years later". Like I wasn't even sure at the end of the last chapter if he even died, since getting cut in half in bleach is usually somewhere around the mid fight "I haven't even revealed my true power"
Nope. Everyone has a bankai that is much stronger than when we saw it at the start and there are multiple vice captains also with bankai. I'm hesitant to call it the strongest because no yama-jii but they're certainly not trash.
Aren't Shunsui and Shinji both supposed to be monstrously strong (Despite Shinji's past -job- experience), and didn't Byakua get a power boost from being healed?
But yeah a lot of the powerhouses are out. While new kenpachi is great i really feel like they wasted Unohana on him given what she was also capable of.
He literally murdered her while she was using Bankai with an unsealed Zanpakuto
Went onto unlock his Shikai, and then his bankai
And he still wasnt capped at his fullest capabilities
don't think about number of chapters or how much time has passed, the story left too much unexplained and open, as if it was cut short.
Granted, that could have just as well been Kubo having a writer's block and stalling until it was too late.
>Aren't Shunsui and Shinji both supposed to be monstrously strong (Despite Shinji's past -job- experience), and didn't Byakua get a power boost from being healed?
None of them give any indication of being beyond captain level like Yamamoto and Aizen were. And those guys were all in the last generation, while they've lost Ukitake and Unohana.
I don't have an exact citation for it but I very strongly recall Yama at one point saying that Shunsui and Ukitake were the two strongest captains after him. I think it was right before they fought way way back in SS but I recall this being said.
http://g.e-hentai.org/g/962908/047d21f3f3/ o mai
Am I the only one who just can't deal with doujins with Ichigo in them? He's like the poster boy for asexuality to see him with his tallywacker out and laying pipe is just to weird to be arousing.
Alright so I just got to this part in the manga and can anyone help clarify what just happened? So the tall Ywach looking guy that we thought was "Zangetsu" is really just the quincy powers inside Ichigo right? And his actual power is the white hollow that he always fights inside himself. Except the quincy power has been surpressing Ichigo's shinigami and hollow power the entire time? And now Ichigo has two zangetsu's, one is a quincy blade, and the other is his shinigami/hollow blade. Am I getting this correct? If not can anyone simplify?
>not genderbent version
wait no, i forgot about Askin
he was based, knew exactly how the manga worked
His first Tensa Zangetsu isn't his true Bankai; it's abilities are actually more similar to a Quincy's Blut Artere (enhanced speed).
The reforged Tensa Zangetsu is a vessel that more accurately represents Ichigo's actual powerlevel; a single swing has enough power to kill a God.
he's been using his real shinigami powers, but apparently never at full strength. and it's the quincy powers that have been holding them back. this does not retroactively explain how his sword spirit manifested as a mask outside the sword without Ichigo's knowing or consent. It also doesn't explain his sword being able to take over his body, or wanting to and threatening to, ala all his previous inner world training segments. or how Urahara's doll designed specifically to draw out sword spirits somehow accidentally drew out quincy powers instead. there's a lot of dumb retcon stuff that doesn't really line up pots reveal, but Kubo had to keep the train rolling.
Are you joking? The entire reason Ichigo's power manifested as a Hollow was due to Yhwach impersonating Zangetsu. If Ichigo had been a proper Shinigami, then his latent Hollow powers would have manifested within an Asauchi instead of a Mask.
>fucking genderbent version of himself
Step up your game.
Anyone knows where I can find decent pics of the digitally colored pages? There's barely anything out there.
Askin was literally Aizen with the personality of Joseph Joestar. What the fuck is not to love about this guy?
Zangetsu used up all his remaining power to take over and fuck Ulquiorra's shit up, because he's actually a nice guy who understands Ichigo and how important it is for him to protect others. He just hates Ichigo's guts for being such a pansy.
I nearly forgot all about Askin. When you think about it. he was pretty awesome. He took on some of the most cunning, and smartest characters.
I thought that was confirmed, when he was fighting Szayel in that one cover page. In that one gover page where had the a literal goat's head.
Funny thing is, that Baphomet is a hermaphrodith and the symbol of the left-hand path. His next opponents were the sexually ambigious Giselle and the left hand Pernida.
I don't think you followed the manga in the last 3 years.
I personally think Isane sees Unohana as a mother figure who looked after her because of the constant nightmares. So when Unohana finally had to leave the 4th squad barracks all to Isane's care. She had to grow up a bit from this experience of lose, and to take charge. We never actually got to see this happen when she became captain off screen, but at least shes fine.
I'm pretty sure Kiyone saw Ukitake as a father figure. There was never really any romantic interest between her, and him. Both Adjutants to Ukitake had nothing but the utmost respect of him.
You don't have to worship her. But the hate is irrational.
Sui-feng tryied to crush the wind pipe of her sister with her feet. I don't think she is too fond of her. We also don't know what happened with Yoruichi. I don't think she give Urahara a chance after he drugged and transformed her.
If you allow shitting streets, people will shit there. If you force toilets, they'll use it or be damned. Poo in the loo perhaps, but there are hundreds of millions who are normal toilet users.
Agreed, so is irrational hate for Orihime.
It's possible, if enough of the existing Captains thought that he was worthy of the position. Otherwise he's attained Bankai but feels the need to constantly train himself every day because he knows better than to think that having Bankai alone makes you worthy of the position.
Urahara outright said his "Learn Bankai in 3 Days" invention was risky as fuck because if you failed to master your bankai before the timer ran out, you got locked out of ever learning it because you pissed off your zanpaktou's spirit.
I want her as my 2D MOM so fucking bad.
is there an updated version of "how much more real can shit get arc"?
Is it normal to self-insert yourself into the Bleachverse as a new character?
Because I can't help but imagine myself telling the Gotei how fucking stupid this and that was in their face.
I have heard two things of note about the WSJ editorial staff.
1 Is that they do not tend interfere in the plot of a manga. They value their writers' artistic freedom a lot.
2 When they do interfere it is to hurry things along. To rush the story, in other words.
All around this is a good approach as it allows the mang to test the waters with new developments and lets the company quickly pull out if the manga is failing. Although it comes at the expense of the manga's pacing.
They interfere with the plot in case they believe that it goes against the "values of Shonen" or is too much for the demographic. Togashi mentioned that he wanted to make a villain in YuYu Hakusho a deconstruction of the typical Shonen villain, but was told not to by the editors.
But I don't think that was the case with Bleach. Perhaps things like showing the backstory of some Sternritter like Giselle, or Haschwalth's daily life with his uncle would be too much for the demographic, but otherwise I don't think so.
>Is that they do not tend interfere in the plot of a manga. They value their writers' artistic freedom a lot.
Would this mean that it was Kubo's own decision to keep Byakuya and Hitsugaya alive when they should have died?
I just realized why Bleach is allowed to have so many plot points that lead no where and tons of loose ends. Its because the target demographic is teenagers and teenagers don't really care about intricate plot points they just want tits, fighting, violence, and some semblance of a plot to hold on to. This manga is meant for teenagers and children. The Bleach fans from the beginning of the series are just too old for it.
Yeah, it's aimed at teenagers, not retards. Teens generally don't have the memory of a goldfish. If a plot point gets introduced, but never gets brought up again, even they will call it out.
What do you think will be the content of the databook? I think we will definitely get at the very least a data book. We may get a sequel or the anime, but I think we would still also get a data book on top of that.
I hope we get something like Nestle of the Night, that shows Orihime healed some Sternritter and how they try to rebuild the Quincy nation or serve under Uryuu.
No, Kubo is ahead on his releases by several weeks. By the time the chapter where Byakuya got gutted and begged Ichigo to save soul society hit shelves he had already finished the chapter where he was confirmed to be alive.
I don't often do this, but here is a fresh (you)
They're just discussing and joking with the idea. Live Action was confirmed eons ago and went nowhere. The weeb franchise they all want to make a live action adaption of these days is One Punch Man.
Thanks for the (You)s but you all know its somewhat true. Its allowed to get away with a lot. I'm just not going to take it so seriously anymore especially if the ending is a total disappointment.
I imagine we'll get a Sternritter section similar to the Espada in Unmasked, with all of their Shrifts, and if we're lucky, Bankai sketches from Kubo for the characters who never got a chance to use them.
>No, Kubo is ahead on his releases by several weeks. By the time the chapter where Byakuya got gutted and begged Ichigo to save soul society hit shelves he had already finished the chapter where he was confirmed to be alive.
Once again you're talking shit. WSJ authors tend to be one or two chapters ahead, no more. So him reviving Byakuya because of the fans is actually a legit option. The only thing that's more than two chapters ahead is the general storyboard which can be changed anytime.
Imagine what Bleach would be like if Kubo wasn't twat with big ego but someone who would listen to hit's editor when he brings up up inconsistencies in story and problems with pacing. Huge ass weekly manga like that isn't meant to be handled by one person and it's understandable that Kubo would need help with the story.
>I'm just not going to take it so seriously anymore especially if the ending is a total disappointment.
It's a Shounen manga; it's entertainment. You were never supposed to take it seriously.
Bleach is allowed to get away with a lot because of its historical significance to Shounen Jump. Bleach can get away with murder for the same reason that KochiKame can.
Before saying Kubo forgot about this him what was the point of introducing this guy?
1) Power scaling for low-level Shinigami to Ichigo and co.
2) Reintroduce concepts from the first arc, specifically details regarding the Quincy and the 'balance between worlds'.
Thanks based anon.
Do you have more?
I'm missing 672, 676-onward. I'd be eternally grateful if you could manage a mega link or something.
Reminder that Grimmjow was suppose to die to Ichigo in their second encounter but the fans saved him, reminder that Nel Tu was brought back because fans liked her, Reminder that Riruka and Tsukishima were the only popular fullbringers and finally, reminder that Kubo's editors, the fans and the anime studio constantly remarked how much they loved the shinigami characters but otherwise felt very little for the world of the living characters.
>Kubo listened to the fans
>Kubo doesn't love Grimmjow because hes Zombiepowder
>Kubo doesn't like Nel
Kubo doesn't listen to fans. If Kubo listened to fans Rukia would be a couple with Ichigo, Ulquiorra would come back, and we would have seen some bankais that weren't shown.
>Before saying Kubo forgot about this him what was the point of introducing this guy?
Reintroduce Ichigo from another perspective. Basically Konohamaru in Bleach, only introduced near the end instead of the beginning.
Making him and Ichigo share two chapter covers was ridiculous, though. It really gave a false sense of his importance.
Finally, the biggest reminder, Byakuya had his swan song but outrage from the nips caused Kubo to back pedal massively. I'm honestly certain that Hitsugaya was intended to bite it as well but once again fan outrage saved him and thanks to the bullshit batmanning character is Mayuri Kubo had an excuse ready and waiting to bring him back. I'd like to imagine the trap fucked him like he did Bambi before he went down I mean, Bambi fucked a fodder then killed him because she was mad, Mayuri fucked Nemu off screen to heal her, Urahara and Yoruchi definitely fucked and there's the implication that Byakuya was sexually assualted by the clothe royal guard member. Kubs also said weird things like wondering if he'd get in trouble if he wrote teenagers having sex.
>Byakuya literally had his entire stomach scraped out. Yeah, he should have died.
Dude, look at Kira.
Heck, look at Mayuri after Ishida blew him away. He's a special case but he does prove that anything short of decapitation isn't a guaranteed kill.
You're missing the point, they needed to fill both roles.
>1) Power scaling for low-level Shinigami to Ichigo and co.
>2) Reintroduce concepts from the first arc, specifically details regarding the Quincy and the 'balance between worlds'.
Byakuya got torn to pieces and became a blood splatter on the wall that would make the fake corpse Aizen made of himself jealous, Rukia cried out in angursh over him causing her to get BTFO in her own fight, he held on just enough for Ichigo to arrive and litterally let go of his sword with a smile on his face after doing the one thing he's never down in the entire manga. He was a goner. The power of brocons and fujoshis saved him. There were people raging just because him dying would make Rukia sad
I some times wonder how many of you read books. It's telling from the way you always complain about under developed literally who side characters, or how your favorite joe doesn't get enough screen time
