Some dubs can be good, like Cowboy Bebop.
I'll try out bits of dubs just to see how well they do on certain voices. Usually they get like, 1 character absolutely perfect and everyone else is generic squeaky annoying voice. Like Hotaru from Dagashi Kashi is pretty accurate
I also like Bandou's VA from Elfen Lied even if it was shit and the other VAs were shit as such. Makes sense only good character would have the only good VA.

You should be able to read subs fast enough even with dyslexia with practice. I was able to do it just fine with pretty severe dyslexia after a awhile but, my writing on the other hand is a lost cause. No amount of practice will fix that, you just gotta use a spell checker to catch those jumbled and flipped letters. i had to correct 1/3 of the words in this post after i finished it.
