out of all the bankai (besides yoruichi'e psuedo bankai cat girl form and ichibei's) it felt like there was a connection behind it that linked to what was suppuse to he the purpose of an hell realm.

i'm thinking of it like the soul king was, in kubo's makeshift rendition, the christian god of bleach while bach was his son(jesus) and the shinigami were like fallen angels that sealed him and torn apart his body, though that adds a bit of greek mythos to it(the olympians sealing up kronos) with weapons crafted by the crafter among them(the 0 squad captain) it's sort of hard to explain unless you know the stories yourself but i feel like bleach is a combination of these things, though purposely vague

Bleach's adaption had alot of problems but the voice effects for hollows, reitsu visual effects, and soundtrack were all fucking great and made it worth it. Last season had some good animation as well and since its over and they can properly pace this shit it good actually be pretty god damn good aside from the problems that the manga had with fights being generally shit

Am I crazy for thinking Vizards > Captains? The only (original)captains that outmach them would be Byakuya because plot, Kenpachi, Shunsui, and Yamamoto. I don't play the power levels game often, but this is how it always came off to me. If you wish to count Gin as a captain, then he's probably stronger than all of them too.

Byakuya's bankai will always be there best and the most beautiful to me and to everyone on the planet.

Gin's bankai was also a favourite of mine even though it was amplified shikai.

The absolute worst bankai in bleach is easily Soi Fon's. A fucking missile for a stealth specialist that also sucked.

Try 13km speedreader kun. Even if that was a lie, anything over a km is broken as hell. Also 500 times the speed of sound, do you know how fucking ridiculous that is? If you did you'd know that it being even 400 times or 5 times would be amazingly broken if for nothing else the kinetic energy of it. Kinetic energy is 1/2m(v^2). Even at just 100 times the speed of sound (34,000 m/s), the sword extending is at least 160 times more kinetic energy than a .50BMG round shot out of a Barrett M82 (853 m/s muzzle velocity), and that's only assuming the bullet's 42g mass isn't less than the mass than the part of the sword hitting you, which it doesn't. It also effectively instantaneously accelerates to that speed, so you can only imagine what it'd do at point blank..

But your problem is that the Bankai can leave a poison that is strong enough to disintegrate a transcendent being? Not only can it wreck whatever it hits, but it's almost guaranteed to kill them if it hits center of mass, and he's got the control to make that shard of poison happen at the center of your body in a slash.

He for all intensive purposes was strong enough to kill Aizen if he didn't have the Hyougoku at that level, and no one else was at the time.

Then again, we're on /a/ and you probably will try to call bullshit on a simple equation for kinetic energy which is basic midlle school,
physics knowledge.

She was matched against someone who could AGE MAGIC for starters, and the missile is a logical Two Hit Kill to One Hit Kill progression. The wasp theme is continued, and I think Western audiences have always overemphasized the "Stealth" aspect when that was always more of a figurative translation than a literal one. The characters actually mean something more like "Secret Maneuvers". They do assassinations and policework in a secretive manner, not necessarily in a stealthy one.

Soi Fon's Bankai works pretty well for me, but your proverbial mileage may vary.
