>the OP spoils a character's death even before he's introduced
but why
>>145271712
People who don't know the series don't pay attention to details like that
>>145271712
Part 2 is older than you are.
>>145271742
It's pretty obvious what the implication is, you really don't have to read the material to know what that detail means.
>>145271742
What kind of filthy casual do you take me for
>>145271742
watching jojo with full attention is kind of boring, but this is too much punishment for paying attention

>Being a secondary
The best OP's have the worst spoilers, young one

>OP reveals special powers/characters in the first or second episode
>OP uses scenes from the anime revealing major fights/outcomes
>>145271712
Because nips don't sperg out when they see spoilers.

People enjoy things more when they are spoiled "slightly."
Character X dies, or Y betrays the team, or Z loves the hero gives people things to pay attention to and interact with personally, which heightens enjoyment. Even forming predictions based on things you were flat out told, is slightly more enjoyable/satisfying/entertaining than being totally surprised.
Also, the target audience for anime adaptations is people who have already read the manga.
Will Goku manage to defeat Frieza and escape the doomed planet Namek? Find out next time on Dragon Ball Z...
Next time on Dragon Ball Z: Frieza Dies!
Prolly because they expect people to already have read the manga that came out years before the adaptation?

The funny part is that they showed it in the opening to Part 1 before showing a quick outline for the entire part.
