Genjutsu can be dispelled by infusing Chakra into the person, the Byakugo seal is is autonomous and what it does is release chakra into the body.

Kaguya has Byakugan, she can't be blindsided like that. And Even if she is Blindsided, Sakura still has to keep up with Naruto and Sasuke's speed in order to follow the combo they were doing, she did. Danzo scheming so the conflict between the uchiha and the village become unavoidable, also he lust after Itachi's friend MS ability. The latter realize that Danzo is the only real opposition to a peacefully and secret agreement and want/threaten to use his MS unique ability to "rewrite" danzo's mind. It ends badly and danzo got half what he wants but got blackmailed so hard by Itachi for it that he doesn't appear before the late middle part of shippuden.

Not that it matter. There plenty things that are canon without author being truly involved with them. Databooks are a basic reference for shonen, regardless of who write them, however.

Sakura is obviously a reflection of some girl Kishimoto lusted after but ended up ignoring him and going for the bad boy.

That scene where she fake-confesses to Naruto and he calls her out on it felt like it was pretty personal for Kishi.

I actually like that in the end Sakura forgives Sasuke for all of his bullshit, Naruto gets his own girl and they all grow up and get over it. It feels realistic. Sakura may not have a "great" personality, but she has a realistic one.

Kishi is also very obviously a confused bisexual, and has brother issues too. I think he's guilty about always being more in the spotlight than his younger brother (who is also a manga artist and I liked Blazer Drive, he's not bad) but he'll always be "the little brother of the guy who made Naruto"

Itachi and Sasuke's relationship feels like him apologizing to his brother
