It has stuff that's left out of the anime if that's what you're asking, the story was pretty much 1:1 adapted with all non-animation important things cut out.
If you're interesting in Overlord then I'd suggest you read up on LN as well, Anime ends at end of Volume 3 but you'd better start from start for better immersion.
