Their popular culture is kind of fucked right now and I partially blame the bad economy, terrible government policies and a weird nationalistic conservative streak that is running rampant through the country. It's killing the creativity of their entertainment sector right now. Nothing really improves until they change their government for one less suffocatingly nationalistic and vastly improve their economy.
