I find it's often the rewrite that makes dubs bad rather than the actual voice acting.

I realize concessions have to be made to "match the mouth movements" but fucking... shit's unnatural. They say some weird shit in dubs.

I also hate how the soundtrack and effects tend to be muted in dubs too

The Devil is a Part Timer is one I'd actually recommend over the subs, because they tone up the script for an English speaking audiance, rather than just translating the script. It sounds very natural is what I mean.
