I really don't understand the hate for Subaru. He was a shut-in who was isolated at a very young age which caused him to be clueless at social interactions. I think both the hatred of and adulation for this show are blown way out of proportion. Is this genre is overdone to a nauseating degree, even when it tries to be meta/self-deprecating?
