I wouldn't expect them to return to making GitS as it was unless Arise flops. Considering they already re-cut and re-released it I'd expect more of that before anything resembling the old GitS.

Solid State Society was intended to be a full season three, but there were issues in production and issues from the 'powers that be' (read: Executive Meddling) so they had to truncate it to one film. That's why it had it's own anime intro sequence.

Has anyone been playing the free to play fps? It's pretty generic, but they've finally introduced the guns from the series, and the costumes are god tier.
