Probably the best place to ask this, I recently just got through magi season 1 and 2 and was wondering what you guys think of the manga?

I felt like the anime left some things out. For example, why couldn't Hakuryuu Ren save Dunya Musta'sim? I don't think they even brought up that option in the anime while in the last season they said that Zagan could heal any illness. They also don't explain why Morgiana couldn't cross the barrier to see her people, they just said she couldn't go without coming back.

So does the manga fix these problems? Is it worth reading?

It's neither, really. It's pretty enjoyable at times, especially the first part of the story (until the last dungeon exploration), and pretty shitty at other times. It's still a good reading overall, definitely above average I would say.

Why is everyone so afraid of Sinbad?
Remember what's happened to Alibaba. He lived for over 100 years, and got basically the ultimate power. He's most likely the most powerful being there right now, even more than Aladdin or Arba. Not to mention the wisdom and cleverness of a over-century-old being.

Arba has been caught interested in Hakuryuu way too many times for it to not be a point of focus towards the end and as Hakuryuu is right now, he's definitely not gonna kill her.

The Alibaba one was easy enough since it was a deathmatch. There are meant to be no hard feelings in the aftermath of a deathmatch. Well that stands for Aladdin and Hakuryuu. Mor could've totally hated Hakuryuu but chose not to. I guess they're more mature than the fan community.

The thing is, Alibaba didn't go there for a deathmatch, he just wanted to talk with Hakuryuu. Hakuryuu forced him into a fight that he never wanted, so yeah, I'd say hard feelings would have been perfectly justified.

Well, a natural deathmatch is never usually planned. It just ends up becoming one.
As far as I'm concerned, the moment Alibaba cut off Hakuryuu's escape routes using Amon, while both of them were charging up their EMs, knowing full well how OP that is against Hakuryuu, it became a honest to goodness deathmatch. IIRC, that aspect is referred to within the chapter itself.

He said it himself that Alibaba was either going to die or become his brainwashed slave. So, it's not like Alibaba had any choice but to fight Hakuryuu head-on.

Yep. Alibaba couldn't leave because he wanted to convince Hakuryuu and Hakuryuu wouldn't let him regardless and Hakuryuu wouldn't leave because he wanted Alibaba on his side or dead, for being on Kouen's side (technically).
It was beautiful.

That fight itself had more depth that the entire bullshit with Naruto and Sasuke.

It has different arcs with entirely different themes with some genre shift here and there on every arc.

I personally enjoyed ECONOMICS and GOYS arcs as Ohbata made it very interesting and entertaining by having different view points and ideals which lead to a similar result in the end.
