Goddamnit why am I still reading this, I promised myself to quit yesterday.
One punch fireman thread
I actually like this new direction. I can't say for certain, but it feels like this is really original for a manga, combining meta-humor, Western pop culture references, superpowers, and an edgy dystopian world? It's like the author was just throwing shit at a wall and got something no rational author could have come up with normally.
Makes me feel like I'm experiencing something fresh even when all of its individual elements are pretty common and cliche.
we had a beach episode and we already got a golden page from t
What makes it better is it started off as a straight edgy revenge story but then inched its way into comedy with over-the-top edge, like the piss-drinking and dog-raping, Fire Punch had become a dark comedy. Then when I got used to that new tone, the director comes out of nowhere and railroaded the whole story. Now the series is openly absurd.
>You don't actually have brain problems, do you?
Says the guy whose brain is being cooked 24/7.
Seriously, the character interactions improved after this bizarre humor kicked in.
I'm glad that retarded shota is gone too, I hope they don't come back for him, if he does need to reappear then do so waaaay later.
>But it would probably ruin their characters.
How so? Wanting to fuck a man on fire is the exact amount of exotic I would expect Director-chan to think of.
She did mention Agni's burning cock before.
She would catch on fire. Her healing seems powerful enough to survive, but her mind would go mad. She's already insane in a quirky way, but having to adjust to never-ending pain would probably drive her insane in an angsty way, ruining her fun personality.
Te edgy generic revenge plot done a thousand times? It's wasn't anything new.
Now the shit that is happening since Director-chan popped up is new, it finally became a good series.
