Depends, not everyone would enjoy it. It's pretty slow paced and full of (decent) filler. Characters are well done and there are definitely obvious similarities with Utena. Try watching some of the first season and see if you enjoy it.

I think there's definitely a reason why many people (including myself) love it. If you don't feel like watching a couple of episodes, try watching the first movie. It's called Promise of the Rose. It basically follows the same structure as a season would have except there's much more plot and character development to be had in a full season obviously.

I'm not sure how well the 3 episode test would work with Sailor Moon though. Over the span of a season she really develops as a character. It's definitely worth the watch imo.

It's pretty slow paced, and there's a ton of episodes so if you are watching it, i'd suggest not binging too much in a day unless you have nothing else better to do. 2-3 episodes a day usually help.

It depends on what you want out of an anime.
The plot isn't anything extremely groundbreaking, but the characters are well written, and fun to watch overall which really makes watching the filler episodes worth it. It's one of the only series' i've seen where the protag was my favorite character.

Plus that cozy 90s ost makes it a great show to watch when you have sweets, and relaxing after a hard day.

I'd suggest the 90s anime to you if you enjoyed Utena and Penguindrum.

Might be accurate, but honestly I think they were just going with the "hot guy flirts with girls" trope with her. I'm not trying to be a SJW, just that if she were a guy you wouldn't be calling her a "predatory creep" you'd probably just call her a playboy.

I agree Michiru is a cuck tho. Again, if Haruka were a guy people would be calling her a doormat, but because she's a girl it's okay that her girlfriend cheats.
