It was like a 90s anime. 3/4 the show was episodic comedy. Then all the drama and plot in the last 6-7 episodes.

And I loved every minute of it except the dog episode. My pick for the most overlooked anime in the last 10 years.

Plus, it had a clone of Motoko from GitS. So no idea why people didn't watch it at least for her. But I personally loved it for being a bright contrast to the dark cyberpunk of GitS. I like GitS as well, but prefer the bright, utopian settings myself.
