This. Gary Stu's have to be literally perfect/the best in as many categories as possible. Everyone loves them, they have unstoppable powers, they always perform the legendary "nothin personnel" maneuver, and above all else they require forced drama to keep them afloat.

Picking apart Gary Stu's can be used for comedic purposes, too. Make an absolute retard the strongest in the universe, or make a character so loved that it ruins everything for them.
