EP3: 00d 02h 26m 16s
Shirou is the red guy, Shinji is the blue guy, Rin pleases old men for money, Sakura likes making love to worms, Zouken did nothing wrong, Illya is a loli, Kirei is best girl.
Who is saber already?
A bunch of magicians use necromancy to fight for a thing called the holy tankard of miracles that can grant any wish. All the fights that happen at the same time make a holy war and there's been a bunch of them throughout history. Each fate/something so far is dealing with a different holy war.
Yeah only downside of the episode, little damage on Illya and the chain grab was pretty underwhelming. Caster Illya was great though
A few missing things like the thing about flying and Illya's thoughts about caster, but pretty clear that they couldn't really include more and I think those were the correct things to not include.
Otherwise I'd say they did a pretty solid job with this episode, obviously just hard to compare with the manga due to how incredibly detailed it is.
Really? Shit was pretty intense for me. The only problem was some parts of Gil's fight but I'm largely satisfied oh and obviously the lewd chain wrap.
And this is coming from somebody just fresh off re-reading the manga.
Up to you whether you want to know what's going to happen next or not, the anime is generaly a pretty faithful adaption of the manga with just a few exceptions like a few filler episodes in start of herz and transition between herz and 3rei being altered a bit so that herz didn't have a cliffhanger.
In a way I would almost recommend not reading the manga if you can handle waiting as I found myself enjoying the first 2 seasons more where I hadn't read any of it yet, as i wouldn't constantly compare it to the manga.
It is honestly a pretty solid adaption but you just can't help but compare it to the manga, and an anime just can't match a monthly manga in terms of quality drawings, especially not one drawn as well as Hiroshi draws this.
I overreacted in my initial statement but I still prefer the manga to this. Beatrice's VA just did not sound as insane as I pictured her to be in my head and the chain was way lewder in the mango.
Is this that series where the cute lolis kiss passionately.
Is there more of said passionate kissing.
>and the chain grab was pretty underwhelming.
Wait what? Please don't tell me they fucked up Gil's awesome stealing of Angelica's Gate of Babylon swords and using them against her.
Ran out of budget fast eh
Then I will start watching this immediately. How many episodes have been released so far.
I've faced worse, thank you friends.
From an animation perspective i can kinda see why though, why Illya's clothed weren't damage in the say way that is, not sure why they made it so less lewd. But having to draw all the following scenes with her having damage clothes the same way in every frame is quite difficulty compared to just drawing someone who's completely naked.
Still sad about it though, as while the rest of the episode was good and caster Illya was just as i had hoped, i really hoped for this part to make it in as well.
Prisma Illya is basically just fanservice for Fatefags and lolicons. The mahou shoujo flavoring might bring in fans of that genre but it loses its potency starting in 2wei. Sounds like you're none of the above so I don't know why you'd bother watching it.
>What are they going to include in the bd this time
The first one is the obligatory really fucking lewd special.
The ones after that are probably a hodge podge of shit they still haven't animated and original comedy/fanservice ones. The high jump in particular might finally be animated in one of the BD specials for 3rei.
hahahah i understood little of that, but what my question was is why is there so much hype for the Fate series as a whole i watched the 1st 2 episodes of Fate/stay night and honestly did not like it i found the character build up over powering the actual story and just making the whole thing boring, unlike the anime that are like it "reccemandations" like as magi
Basically much like the other seasons. Decent adaptation with a few scenes skipped here and there, some grievances one can probably nitpick, scenes where obviously the manga does it better but that's a given, and shit an autist like
LRDwill sperg over.
They skimped on some of the fan service but overall sticking to the manga's story like glue. They were wise to quickly unfuck the ending of 2wei Herz rather than dragging it out with more filler.
I'd still recommend reading the manga though. For 2wei as well as 3rei.
If you mean the original 2006 anime that explains a lot, it's not that great an adaption.
The ufotable adaptions(fate/zero and unlimited blade works)may not be perfect, but they are generally a good place to start and enjoyable to watch due to the high production values.
This show is a spin off based on one of the side characters, putting her as the main character in a more lighthearted show.
Manga >>> Anime. The anime is great so far but the manga is superior. There is no doubt about that.
They cut a part of this pic related in the anime by the way. (read from right to left)
>I'd still recommend reading the manga though. For 2wei as well as 3rei.
Besides the final arc, the anime was better than the manga, at least I think so.
Don't know about 3rei, since only 3 episodes are out (and the source material isn't complete), but it's still pretty good so far.
There are two Fate/Stay Night anime so you'd have to specify whether it's the 2006 or the 2014 one. Both are adapted from the Fate/Stay Night visual novel, which is the origin of the entire Fate franchise. Everything else is a sequel, prequel, or spin-off of that game. So if you're looking for an entry point to the series it would be F/SN. Unfortunately Fate/Stay Night hasn't been fully adapted into anime, but we may have that change in our lifetimes thanks to Ufotable.
Yeah I am a bit sad they cut that out, although that's often what happens in anime, inner dialogues like that just don't work that well compared to in manga, especially not when they had to fit so much into the episode.
Looking forward to all the Installs next week.
>Gate of branding.
The flight monologue Illya had was way more important than the Install one. Though the problem with those two monologues is that despite the fact they do offer some spice into characterization, having that narrated would kill off the pacing of the action which they were obviously going for.
Give and take. It's the beauty of having multiple forms of media to consume a product with.
I thought that these threads were safe from this kind of shit
Lancer Illya is the best
Assassin > Caster > Rider > Saber > Lancer
Probably caster. Loki's mainly known for being a shape-shifter rather than using any particular weapon or artifact. Likely his Noble Phtansm would be summoning one his children to fight, likely Fenrir or Jormungandr, either of which would be OP as fuck.
I really don't want to be that guy but while this episode was great and it's nice seeing the fights animated and hearing the voice acting they still weren't able to completely nail the adaptation. This still feels too much like Prisma Illya, as strange as that may sound. I'm having difficulty putting it into words but the 3rei manga has this sense of despair and hopelessness, so much so that it feels like reading Heaven's Feel. This adaptation is still too upbeat for its own good.
He'll come in at the end of this season. The flashback arc where he becomes the MC probably won't be animated for a couple of years.
I want to lick Miyu's neck
I really appreciate how they went trough the trouble of drawing the weapons for the Gate of Babylon individually. I'm still frustrated that Ufotable didn't bother to do it for the UBW anime, it looks so much better than just copy-pasting 100 of the same sword.
>There wasn't a Tamamo Tuesday thread this week
Did everyone forget about the best girl already?
Anyway, I thought about creating a jeu de cartes set with a different Fate servant on each card.
It would really help me, if you could go to the http://hnng.moe/BKa and give me your ideas.
There are four sheets, one per suit.
You can put servant names randomly, or think about it, and for example put Arturia in the "King" column, Tamamo as a "Joker" because of the shapeshift ability, Liz as "Queen" etc.
After some time, I will prepare a PDF file with the whole deck so you could print it yourself.
Naturally, I will choose the most popular ones, but please, try to behave and shitpost as little as possible.
Oh, and remember to protect your range!
They already did it for the battle vs Gil at the end of Herz, so of course, they'd do it here. Still agreevwith you, and it gives me hopes for when Shirou uses UBW if they ever animate the flashback.
Still similar to Ko-Gil's hair here.
where's luvia? this is the worst season so far.
Are we going to get the Black Knight Ultra Greatsword in the anime?
Are you sure? It doesn't look remotely similar to me.
why didnt Illya just fly up and grab Miyu out of the tower?
Shit. I remember there has been something important revealed. Since manga switched to Shirou I have hard time remembering details.
Also, 3rei is 4 years old
I actually like the living doll type, or rather at worst I simply don't mind them. Liz and Stella were at their worst forgettable, but Beatrice and Angelica are just outright annoying.
I didn't even find Beatrice that bad in the manga, but the constant lip-licking and her fucking voice make me want to smash her skull against a rock every time she opens her mouth.
But that's exactly how I saw her in the manga. To me, the anime is almost 100% identical to how I imagined her, so it's like you've got a perfect vision of why I don't like her character type.
Counter Guardians as described in F/SN are basically super powerful janitors who clean up after disasters that have the potential to end humanity. A key difference is that while heroic spirits usually end up enthroned because of their legends, there are some who only end up there as a result of a contract with Alaya. That contract gives Alaya defacto ownership of their spirit, and they become shackled to the Throne of Heroes rather than ascending to it.
>1 - I have good taste and dislike eating shit
>2 - I might eat shit once in a while even though I hate it
>3 - I hate shit but I eat it anyways
>4 - I love eating shit
>5 - I love shit so much I'm going to commit suicide by eating too much shit
>Percentage of tweets that said those things i assume?
No they voted after watching the 1st episode on nicovidya. I don't know how many people watched it there though. Too bad.
I'm not too fanatic about Fate universe, but I think Prisma Illya is the most enjoyable thing out of it. Basically because I'm a magical girl fag.
Nothing more satisfying for me than watching a mahou shoujo goes full zenryoku zenkai.
Now that I think about it Bazett could kill Beatrice very easily with Fragarach.
i know what you mean
i haven't read the manga (know a few spoilers here and there though) but this isn't that good. i've seen it praised so much but it's barely better than the first part of prisma
>look I'm so crazy and sadistic lmao
What a garbage archetype
Imagine if she used Fragarach while Gil was charging Ea last season. Anticlimactic as fuck.
Couldn't Kuro also have killed her pretty easily via Hrunting spam?
She'd just have to kissu Bazett beforehand for all the mana needed
Man u guys are posting all screenshots I wanted to. Also casual reminder miyu is no pan here
The "mongrel" part was pretty nice, way better than what I had imagined in the manga.
I'm glad they are skipping most of the bullshit for the anime, but I guess it's not a good thing for anime-onlyfags.
>no obviou sscanties
>slit not high enough
THEY FUCKING RUINED IT
THIS IS JUST A ROBE?
WE NEED TO GO LEWDER
Gonna need a Kuro version of this
Why the fuck wait?
There won't be any sexualization of her either as they butchered even less lewd loli service out.
>but she's included in the bath scene
Where only Tanaka will get service.
