>It's a Squad having an argument over whether soldiers should follow orders they know are wrong episode
Watching Kasumi's reactions change as he has rude thoughts about her.
That was one of the best parts.
Lise is best costume model.
I'm genuinely curious where you've seen more ribbonspam than that because I'm at a loss.
I'm playing through Extra right now, just got to this scene, is this the whole lacrosse arc people used to tell me I was going to hate?seems pretty chill so far, how many arcs does Sumika route have? Planning on playing every route, even though you guys don't recommend some.
It's all personal prefrence really. Of course people who get into it because "I want just want mecha action fuck this" will hate the lacrosse. But the routes in general are pretty short. I think Sumika/Meiya is just a tiny little branch off of the end of the common route.
Onsen arc is really fun. Tamase's route is really cute. Kei has a lot of family drama that becomes important in Alternative. To this day I've never played Chizubitch's route.
She hurts the popular girl when playing lacrosse
She gets bullied for hurting the popular girl
She stops going to school
Popular girl tells everyone to stop being such dicks
She still doesn't come back to school
Takeru convinces her to come back to school with a "You wouldn't want to end out a worthless drunk like your mother"
Everyone at school tries to blame her absence on Takeru being a bad influence
That gets resolved in the same scene it was introduced
Then sex happens
There, now you don't need to play that route, none of the side characters unique to it are even recurring so that's even less reason to bother.
Been rereading Extra myself with Steam version and just got past lacrosse. I enjoyed it a lot. I've missed reading this vn so much and trilogy as a whole. Its been several years already since I last time read this.
I started playing because of the mecha and all, but I don't mind playing through all the routes in extra before. Chizuru is kind of getting on my nerves though, might skip her route.
It's been so long since I read her route but from what I remember it never went that far, I'll try an actually serious summary. In her route she hit rock bottom, as far as she know she just crippled her friend and the reputation she was building as a sort of mask just fell apart. Since she overreacted and thought she failed at her entire life so far might as well do an extreme 180 and follow her mothers path. like how obsessive tend to swing between extremes rather than take a moderate approach. Anyway she starts skipping school, drinking heavily, and if I remember correctly goes days without going home so she probably slept on the streets. Takeru finds her in a redlight district being given money by an old man outside a love hotel, barges in there, gets the old man to leave by threatening to call the cops because she's underage, then drags her around to all the people who could give her a pep talk. The whole blaming him for it is he was skipping school to find her and they were photographed together outside the love hotel , he would take the fall so she could stay the schools academic golden girl, but she insisted that everything was her fault and the principle decides not to press the issue, then sex happens in the middle of the classroom and she gets suspended for delinquency.
But petting after. How much do you think she likes getting headrubbed by VG?
Wait, how old is Tarisa anyways?
Angry Monica when?
I want to handcuff Natalie to a bed with a cast iron frame and then fuck her for the entire months of September and October 2001, then move back down to Seattle and continue seventh grade and convince my parents to let me keep her in my room if she does chores around the house.
>tfw you were on the ride since the begining and you can't really realize it
Natalie is for pumping and dumping!
>you will never wake up next to this
Why even live?
Who /NVA/ here?
>not wanting to fuck teen Iris instead
teen Irisdina > adult Irisdina.
He might, depending on the route. But it's gonna hurt like a bitch, what he'll have to sacrifice for that.
Why would you say something so horrible?
>no soft aryan goddess to warm up with every morning
It's understandable why he is an edgelord.
And that's life in ML, waifus die. You can't escape that fact. What we can do is celebrate our waifus, and how their existence changed those around them, and changed us.
For old times sake.
Now this is bullying.
This guy gets it. Save in the name of tru-luv.
But you can't save everybody all at once.
Even if she is a secondary, Gretel will always be the main heroine of my heart
>her face when she realizes she's been had.
Reminder that she is a honorary LStR-40 and eats Stasi divisions for breakfast
>Katia did not even get interrogated
>rebels had the chance to rebel
That's a bad record.
>Let the KGB controll them
Its even worse in the anime.
Their military arm had a good showing, the rest of it was Gestapo in Commie insignia.
but that never happened, they were just visible
sorry i just wanted to know because when i was asking about it here like month ago i was told to fuck off since it wasnt about that schwarzesmarken or how is it spelled. i did notice that it doesnt have muv luv mentioned in its name, so maybe i got into wrong thread or something
that comes second, the Simulator training had several hours of build up, and was the metaphorical "monkey off the back", culminating in the perfect phrase from Chizuru to something to the tune of "we'll now we finally see with Kouzuki-sensei called you special"
it was just such a feel good moment for the reader, and Takeru
You can thank watanabe for that
Even the LN barely touched those initial issues with Katia (because muh saint)
Besides, unless they want to do a bloodbath worst than the 1953 uprising, or something that ended like the 1989 Romanian Revolution they need to be more subtle
>Let the KGB control them
>Its even worse in the anime
That was historically correct
>Although Mielke's Stasi was superficially granted independence in 1957, until 1990 the KGB continued to maintain liaison officers in all eight main Stasi directorates, each with his own office inside the Stasi's Berlin compound, and in each of the fifteen Stasi district headquarters around East Germany.Collaboration was so close that the KGB invited the Stasi to establish operational bases in Moscow and Leningrad to monitor visiting East German tourists and Mielke referred to the Stasi officers as "Chekists of the Soviet Union". In 1978, Mielke formally granted KGB officers in East Germany the same rights and powers that they enjoyed in the Soviet Union.
Maybe you posted around a bad time? The trilogy was always welcome as far as I remember.
My bad, but the KGB actually putting one of their agents in charge, and one with such a low rank, to top it off, is a bit out there, isn't it?
There was some retard in these threads few months ago telling people to leave, if they posted girls from anything else than SM. Maybe it was that. Just ignore those
Well, since the East Germany was the closest thing to frontline duty, you could imagine the center deciding that an officer has enough skills to do good there. And if the officer was great, it didn't really matter for either side, since pros are always welcomed.
And rank was easily gained there, if you could back it up.
Most of ML's KGB practices don't make sense though, nor are they correct.
>Putin on SM never
From 1985 to 1990 he was on Dresde working for the KGB
>Most of ML's KGB practices don't make sense though, nor are they correct.
ML gets most Intelligence agencies wrong. Its quite good that it hasn't focused much on the CIA, despite it being used as a scapegoat for many things.
If he has set his eyes on Beato >>144441517, if not, I hope you are good at CQC.
Is Sandek a good Vova expy?
He's also known there as the officer that stopped the mob, drunk after the berlin wall's fall and already wrecked three other buildings, from messing up the state owned building he was in.
By reminding the people that he, and other officers have a duty as active officers and they cannot allow them to tresspass.
Nah, Putin seems much more humane, so to say.
Sandek would probably make a good high ranking KGB officer, because that position might require being both ruthless and merciless, while making sure your projects are progressing.
Her ending (gotten by avoiding the girls and spending time with Marimo, which usually involves seeing her bullied by Yuuko) happens at the hot springs, with Takeru learning why she is nicknamed the Mad Dog. Takeru helps drunk Marimo to her room, who then proceeds to force him into wild sex until she finally collapses from exhaustion, leaving a moderately traumatized Takeru to think about what happened, feel sorry for her because she's a sweet girl but this is probably why she can't keep men (because she's a frenzied drunk), and wonder if he'll have to change schools.
Then Marimo wakes up and whispers into his ear "Round Two."
>you will never be beaten up and raped by marimo
Why even live?
The next big Schwarzesmarken announcement is going to happen at Comiket 90 (August 14th). It will most likely be a trailer/opening release.
For me it was the scene at the end of the whole chomp despair arc. When Shirogane finally stops running away, and with Yuuko's help and pep talk finally makes it back to Alternative. The song playing as it happens as cheesy at is might be puts it at the top for me.
Its up to you man, but I got the original via torrent and enjoyed it so much that I never thought twice about purchasing a legit copy when it made it stateside. Both translations are are done well so it's not really an issue.
I will fight you m8, Tsubasa is easily one of the best insert songs I have ever heard
Hmm I suppose the Steam version it is then. I was just wondeirng with how they censored the H-scenes that I might miss out on something. I mean, I played F/SN uncensored but I felt the H-scenes did nothing so I would've played Realta Nua and understood the main story easily
okay maybe feel aloof at dolphins and blood sucking in HF
>I was just wondering with how they censored the H-scenes that I might miss out on something. I mean,
the H scenes were always just tacked on for the sake of calling it an eroge, they never added anything
Kouki at his core just wanted to tell a story
Those aren't ribbons. Those are little animals feeding off your blood at night, disguised as ribbons. They congregate around the most unsuspecting victims. That's why there's so unnaturally many of them.
Iris's model has lipstick. How do you Irisfags feel about that?
I'm 'standing' at 100% achtung.
I'll fight you.
Iris can make lipstick work pretty well when she applies herself.
>almost never worth it.
5/10, made me reply.
Why is Iris so huggable?
She's not as huggable as her rival.
But the Beato that needs a hug the most would kill you if you tried to.
This is triggering me, something about the scale just seems incredibly off
You're in Katia's position on pic related.
I want to bully her by taking her glasses while she sleeps, leaving a scratch that is very very subtle when she just looks at the glasses, but becomes annoying when she wears them and it gives her a headache.
Why does Beatrix have the best eyes?
Because everyone knows that red/tsurime eyes are the best.
>In a paper uploaded to the open access journal Physical Review X, the team said they used the variational quantum eigensolver approach as it represents a quantum equivalent of a neural network.
So I kinda tried to calculate how in a T-80B gunners sight, the height of some BETA classes would look like and this is what I came up with.
Does anyone have the large version of this picture? Can't find it
I'd adopt a Lise. Hell I'd adopt two.
How the hell did I not notice that cameo when I read Unlimited the first time? I'm sure I saw 0079 before reading it.
is this nigga serious?
Rereading Extra/UL after all these years now with Steam version hurts. Kinda even wish it was because I would think its shit or something. But no, just confirms what emotional retard I am.
>people ruining my Beato femdom fantasies
Fuck you too
Tamase is a good man, he wouldn't try and kill his daughter.
Although now you mention it, it does bear an analogue to how he arranged an "important" archery match just so she would get over her stage fright... Perhaps there was a backup to save Yokohama even if she failed.
>>people ruining my Beato femdom fantasies
She has zero experience , with some practice and time, I'm sure sure she'll fulfill them just fine, but as it is someone has to train her and "break her in".
Beato is probably very submissive in the bed her flirtiness and seductiveness is just an act. And she is probably still a virgin so she would be like a deer in headlights.
it's odd, from the text he makes it seem like he caused the HSST to test Yokohama,
but then later in a conversation with Yuuko talks about outside powers being at play.
they contradict themselves, so perhaps he was aware of anti-alternative group acting that very day, and chose not to intervene. This would be beneficial for it was never the UNs actions that destroyed Yokohama
fucking shit I just about had a heart attack at this CG, and then I remembered I was still in Unlimited.
It's better that way, bullies at day, bullied at night.
>Wild Werewolf sex with Lise
Sign me the fuck up.
Living the dream.
Pretty sure it was your last statement, he knew but chose not to intervene because of how unstable the situation was.
Weren't the same people who dropped the HSST the people who instigated the coup in Alternative because the HSST plan was stopped in its tracks and failed to deliver a strong enough message.
>when I first played it four years ago, I felt like Meiya was a pompous imtruder ruining Sumika's romance
>Now as I reread Extra and Unlimited I eagerly await every single line Meiya speaks, smile at the sound of her voice, adore her sprites, delight in picking her choices every time, pure adoration
What has overcome me? Is this only because I have know read alternative? Is it how I've matured over those years? I feel very different as a person.
MEEEEEIIIIYYYYAAAAAAAAAA fucking hell Steamternative is going to destroy me this time around in new ways.
I really hope the uncensor patch comes out quicker for that one so I can CHOMP pronto.
You have fallen for the best girl like I did years ago.
Yuuhi is really nice girl too, but she just can't give me those same feelings like Meiya does.
Cryska, Inia and Yui are my waifus. Also my Yui in the yellow swimsuit came in. Yui really is too cute.
I don't know how to feel about Yuuhi, I feel like she's far too blatant attempt to siphon away my love for Meiya. When I like her I feel like I'm betraying Meiya, and when I don't I feel like she's a waste of space. I don't even know how to describe what makes her unique. There's no winning!
I do like her an awful lot though, she has a ton of great scenes in AF. Like that one in the ski lodge. Oh lordy, that booty.
>Meiya and Yuuhi -fags
>When Sumika exists
At least you guys aren't as bad as Chizuru and Ayamine -fags. And leagues ahead of SM -fags and DeadSlav enablers.
Are there even any Mikotofags?
Tama is alright.
>He didn't even have the common decency to post photos of it
You polygamyfags truly are the worst.
How do Chizurufags function? I wouldn't want her as a friend, let alone a lover. Her Extra route is diabolical.
I almost forgot Mikoto existed but I'm actually really liking her scenes in steamternative. Takeru really treats her disgustingly and she doesn't bat an eyelid.
I still think they should have made her design a tad girlier though.
>tfw the unlimited OP spoils Girl Mikoto
>tfw the steam version replaces muv luv with some shitty new insert song
Speaking of Mikoto, it's generally accepted that Extra Mikoto is secretly a girl, right?
Now, given Tsukoyomi's behaviour at the cooking contest... do you think Mana is a stupid shotacon or a perceptive age gap /u/ lady?
People love shitgirls in every series. This is /a/, you don't even need examples of this.
Chizuru isn't so bad, though. She's a pain in the ass, and ultimately she's really simple minded, but deep down she's soft. Takeru acts like a huge fucking faggot throughout the entire game, and Chizuru does chew him out at every turn. However, as soon as Takeru backs down and lowers his head, she's immediately avert her gaze as say "I-It's fine, so long as you understand.....".
Pretty sure Mikoto is gender-confused in Extra. She's obviously a woman, just look at her behavior on the onsen arc. However, she thought nothing of going into the bath with Takeru. She knew she had to hide her chest, but it didn't bother her enough that she'd want to avoid the scenario altogether.
>People love shitgirls in every series. This is /a/, you don't even need examples of this.
This pretty much. Just look at all the love that the sociopath is getting in this thread.
I heard someone was posting best girl.
Haruko Maniax. Half of it is just MGS references, but it was surprisingly enjoyable.
The cute little siblings were the best.
Besides not being a ccute girl, Faggiri is nothing but a tool. He's being played by the Americans to start a revolution, for the American's sake. He''s being used and he knows it. He doesn't care about the circumstances or humanity's victory, all he cares about is his illusion of MAH NIPPON.
So essentially Fagiri is the complete opposite of Beatrix in terms of motivations.
Well in Alt he's just a well meaning nationalist used as a convenient tool by American agitators, the coup would have happened with or without him
In Extra he dated a middle school girl as an adult (?????) and would leave his wife for high schooler pussy (???)
That's not being manipulated in dire circumstances as a tool, that's being a fucking creep
Ayamine and Chizuru have the strangest routes
You have to ask yourself, would this person be doing evil if it was not necessary? Does the person see evil as regrettable, but necessary (Yuuko) or do evil because they enjoy the power that comes from ruling or hurting others (Sandek, Beatrix and Axmann).
Precisely. Every villain-y character in Muv Luv that isn't actually Evil is someone who acts against the interests of the protagonist, but only because he/she has their own plans, their own motivations, and access to information and connections that lead him to pursue a different plan for defeating the BETA and attaining humanity's victory. Yuuko is the same.
Faggiri is just a self-centered terrorist who can't see more than just what's happening around himself. He's someone the world is better off without.
Because she's the hero Germany deserves, but not the one it needed right then. So they hunted her. Because she can take it. Because she's not our hero. She's a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A Red Werewolf.
Your scanner must be tiny.
>the coup would have happened with or without him
Nah the coup always happens with him, it just happened way earlier because of Takeru's involvement. Why do you think he fights for frogs in TDA?
Instead of H-scenes, you get alternate romantic scenes exclusive to the all-ages version. Those scenes fit better than the obligatory porn for a sick market that won't buy the game unless it features a detailed chronicle of how the girls get their hymen torn by MC's dick.
>Precisely. Every villain-y character in Muv Luv that isn't actually Evil is someone who acts against the interests of the protagonist, but only because he/she has their own plans, their own motivations, and access to information and connections that lead him to pursue a different plan for defeating the BETA and attaining humanity's victory
No, ML villains tend to be sadistic and selfish, occasionally to the point where they prioritize their own power over humanity's good. At their core, they usually enjoy killing other people and show a shocking lack of empathy, even towards their own followers.
Look at this cutie!
All that's missing is a halo crowning her cute little head.
Theo is one of my favorites! Him and Katia make a great looking couple.
I have to agree with the others on Theodor.
He also develops into a capable leader, and despite all the horror around him, managed to stay idealistic and strong. He's one of the few heroes in ML who managed to protect his girl's smile, which makes him as badass as fucking Takeru in the MLverse.
The way he took out Lise and Beatrix was extremely badass too, and shows that he's a top tier pilot along with being intelligent and cunning. There was no hesitation or angst either in killing other people, unlike many ML characters, showing that he had the resolve and guts to do what he had to do.
>He also develops into a capable leader, and despite all the horror around him, managed to stay idealistic and strong
Is that so
Theo's a good person. I hope he finds happiness with best girl.
Actually, yes. Who was leading the 666th in their final battle? Was it Walter or Annete? No, it was Theodor.
And she has those perfect proportions despite not even being fully grown yet.
However, Theo was picked over Walter, someone who both outranked him and had more experience, to lead the 666th in their final battle. Clearly, something extraordinary blossomed in Theo during the revolution, enough to make the other NVA respect and follow him. It was also under him where they were finally able to defeat Beatrix and her stasi henchmen.
How is that a problem?
There's more then one of us, you know. There was a time where there were more Katiafags on here then anyone else (except possibly the Gretelfags) you know.
Despair is an interesting emotion.
I wouldn't say he KNOWS he's a tool, but yes all he does care about is his illusory dream.
>or do evil because they enjoy the power that comes from ruling or hurting others
God it hurts to read the same shitposters time after time.
Well it is interesting in a way. Saigiri hates Americans with an unbridled passion and hates democracy, and yet is on the "good" side. While Beatrix loves Americans and what they stand for, and hates the enemies of freedom, and yet is on the "bad" side.
So that means he was "idealistic" and "strong"? Butterbars are a diamond dozen.
It takes a strong man to deny what's right in front of him though, that's for sure.
The best cutie is from the West though and fights for freedom.
I watched the show, I know she's not from the West. I just can't put up with this adaptation because it feels like they tried to adapt something the size of the main trilogy, except they skipped MLE+MLU+All the flashbacks, so I was supposed to know everything about those characters but I didn't.
>so I was supposed to know everything about those characters but I didn't.
Well the target audience would have had ample opportunity to read about those characters since the source material had finished serializing for half a year.
>There's more then one of us, you know. There was a time where there were more Katiafags on here then anyone else (except possibly the Gretelfags) you know.
why do you think they left desu
As a filthy gaijin and an EoP, I am already used to not being the target audience. Regardless, it felt like the execution alienated too many people. People who like Muv Luv would've watched/bought anyway, it's the people who have no knowledge of the series the ones they should be wooing in with anime adaptations.
Speaking of target audiences, what are the chances we'll get official localizations for TE and SM? Or even the TDAs? Considering Muv Luv made a shitload of money on Kickstarter, it's safe to believe they'll at least consider it?
Theo wasn't there to have a discussion, he was there to finish the fight.
Sandek may have been working towards the greater good, but he did do some pretty evil shit for his own amusement when he could get away with it. He's a horrible person, but at least he's contributing towards humankind's victory.
Well, Beatrix seems like a less successful, nastier Sandek. She's either so completely edgy that she always ends up taking the ruthless option that hurts a lot of people, or completely nuts.
And yet Theo was made captain by the end and leading his very own squadron. You have to admit that there was something special about him in the end. He probably didn't realize or have the courage to see that he was effective leadership material, but once he did, there was no stopping him.
>now you are just been retarded
If you're going to insult my intelligence, at least do it with proper grammar.
I think it's funny how you people are so triggered by this innocent cute girl.
>And yet Theo was made captain by the end and leading his very own squadron
>he was there to finish the fight.
And if the truth becomes undeniable, you create your own.
Someone has to pay for the rebel's crimes, Katiafag. Who's it gonna be?
Because the atmosphere became so toxic to Katiaposters. If I can create a space for them, I'm sure they'll return!
Yes the anime was a botch job, not enough episodes and an incompetent director. Said target audience had plenty of complaints about character butchery too, for example heres VN Lise reacting to anime Lise
But they didn't really care much about the anime to begin with,
SM is getting a demo on Steam eventually and we'll see about a full translation after that.
We don't know how it'll play out. I'd wait for Schwarzesmarken 84 before you start casting accusations.
If you ask me, it's those stasi that are responsible for damning Europe by creating the conditions that allowed the rebellion to explode. It was one stasi faction attacking the other that kicked off the whole rebellion anyways.
>Someone has to pay for the rebel's crimes, Katiafag.
What crimes? They certainly weren't anywhere near as heinous as anything commited by the old governement.
It was in the LN spoilers that have been out forever.
They're wonderful characters.
Besides as usual, you get Beatrix completely wrong in your blind, frothing rage, you also got Sandek wrong. Granted, while his real motivations are only expounded on later, he gives hints of them even in the anime.
He didn't kill for his own amusement, primarily because killing is a distraction for him anyways. He still has a functioning moral compass, it's just his goal comes first. So he didn't have the Zhar hit initially, it was one of the superiors in military command who decided on that. He was against the whole "try to steal the railgun" plan in the first place. It's just that when the commanders/politburo member's plan went catastrophically wrong, it was Sandek who salvaged it as best he could, while reminding said commander how much he fucked up. He will always take the pragmatic option, and the path of least bloodshed, so long as it doesn't stand in the way of his goal.
And that's before getting into that he likes Yuuya, quite a bit. And after finding out he's the Catalyst for the Sisters, becomes fanatically so.
He doesn't even really care for power. His goal being essentially to recreate his sacrificed sister, whom he loved more than any other. All the esper girls are based off of her DNA.
That's how Europe looks in 1984
nice work moderates
>They certainly weren't anywhere near as heinous as anything commited by the old governement
>mass execution of POW's
>not that bad
>mass execution of POW's
Exactly. History is written by the victor.
War crimes are only for the losers.
>Ignoring the LN
You can't use it to point out Theo being promoted to captain here >>144458998 then deny and ignore the parts you don't like. The rebels tortured and killed their prisoners in the LN and after Beatrix's death when the remaining Werewolves surrendered after their morale was broken Theo gunned them down.
how do I make the call /a/?
do I wait, possibly till 2017, for Alternative, or re-read the release I have right now?
Why does Sandek name the espers things like rat and treat them abusively?
Why does Sandek contact Latrova to gloat over her and the Zhar battalion's impending death?
Why does Sandek shoot Yui just because?
Why does Sandek try to set Cryska up to kill Yuuya despite knowing about their relationship?
Disagreeing isn't baiting anon.
You're not disagreeing, you're creating an illusion based on carefully selected parts of the material while ignoring everything you either don't like or doesn't support your argument. And every time you're proven wrong you stop replying only to show up again in a day or two and do the same thing all over again.
Disagreeing usually entails a arguable viewpoint. Katiafags' arguments rely on the anime since that's the only thing that wholeheartedly supports their waifu.
The problem with that is the anime is a black and white adaptation of source material which is unquestionably shades of gray. Katiafags are playing checkers while everyone is invested in chess.
>Why does Sandek name the espers things like rat and treat them abusively?
Basically, if you think about him as a perfectionist mad scientist, things start to make more sense. He has simultaneously caring for his
"sisters", trying to make them the most powerful and capable people around, and yet they're all DIFFERENT from his sister, which kind of goes against the person he loved dearly, so he keeps pulling his hair out, starting over, again and again and again, mad that he can't get every single detail right.
Also, a lot of the abuse to the espers is by his seniors in command, or other Soviet commanders, as this isn't his independent project. Hell when he realized Cryska and Inia loved Yuuya, and Yuuya was the key to unlocking them,
he started plotting to kill Yui, so that him and Cryska could be together.
>Why does Sandek contact Latrova to gloat over her and the Zhar battalion's impending death?
Again, he had to help clean up a mess, to prevent the whole Soviet Line from falling. His failed senior already hatched the plan to kill Zhar, but fucked that up too. If they got back and told what happened, Zhar would cause a huge domestic crisis, and imperil the war possibly. Sandek is a cleaner too, so regardless how he feels, he cleaned up his mess. And his gloating to Latrova was mostly actually sincere, helpful advice (i.e. do not even for a second hesitate, try your best to kill them), if the second part was obviously a little malicious (taunting her about her husband), though technically he is right - Latrova loved her husband dearly.
>Why does Sandek shoot Yui just because?
Answered above. Basically, he wants Yuuya as a son-in-law.
>Why does Sandek try to set Cryska up to kill Yuuya despite knowing about their relationship?
Again, messes and orders not of his desire that he's called on to clean up. Plus she was slipping the bonds of control. But part of me feels he knows it wouldn't work anyways.
>after Beatrix's death when the remaining Werewolves surrendered after their morale was broken Theo gunned them down
I for the life of me can't remember this happening
What I remember reading was:
Theo kills Beatrix
Annette promptly calls him on the radio with bad news
Theo arrives at Pariser Platz and sees Iris
Flys away with her
Heim calls him back to do a laserjagd
Cue time skip and info dump
Do you know what page it was?
Why are Katia fags intentionally creating trouble with their shitposting? Why cant they be calm like Pham fags or Gretel fags?
Are you that guy on /m/ who says "hurr we will see who's right the material or anonymous peepol"?
If you choose to once again enter the world of black and white, then we can already see who was "right". You can read the LN and the first VN which shows most of the plot. Choosing not to is tantamount to admitting wilful ignorance.
Again, SM is a character-driven drama (which means that there are no unbiased views) that simply has no white or black. There is no such thing as good guys or bad guys in war.
Yeah, SM ends (discounting the epilogue) pretty much right after Beatrix and Irisdina's deaths (which happen nearly on the same page). There's a throwaway line about the loyalist all laying down their weapons after Beatrix died because she'd been their "spiritual pillar," but that was about it.
it would be this
it's what I first heard when I booted up extra all that time ago, and was the last thing I heard as I returned to EXTRAverse
>I've been only a few weeks in the DDR and I don't know shit about the internal situation but muh friendship and muh unity are the solution
>then she proceeds to sing "winds of change"
If thats the way you really feel then why do you keep insisting you already know the answers? If you can't read jap and haven't read the LNs for yourself then wait around with the rest of us before jumping to conclusions about who is objectively right and wrong, since clearly spoilers can't be trusted with conflicting rumors and partial reports floating around.
I thought you were attacking me. I have the exact line about the morale breakdown right here:
No mention of executions, though I wouldn't be surprised if it did happen what with the way Suzy handled Lise.
"Spiritual pillar" my ass.
>Beatrix machine shot down ── this fact seems to have transmitted to immediately of other "Werwolf" battalion aircraft. Most of the aircraft are surrendered, it was in response to disarm. For them, the presence of Beatrix Bureme will was the spiritual pillar.
How could the anime have gotten this so wrong? Why?
It's not like it enhances the story by making things so black and white. If anything, it greatly diminishes the believability of things.
>Watanabe: This is historical fiction, so for places like the Soviet Union and West and East Germany, we based them off their real-life counterparts to a certain extent. It was a very challenging project. There were areas where we wondered if it was OK to do this. After getting involved in this project, I learned that the Stasi (East German secret police) that appears in the story was a real organization. They did some truly terrible things. There are people who really did suffer. When I thought about that, I was very concerned about how far we should go to portray this.
Beatrix isn't that important to SM, apart from being the main villain.
Really, the one character who's screwup is most unforgivable is Lise. Lise is meant to be tragic, That's her role, but the anime made her too hateable. Beatrix, on the other hand, still fulfilled her main role even with her changes.
>Beatrix isn't that important to SM
