Come gather, round /a/nons
It's high time ye learned
About a hero named Guts
And the wounds that he's earned
So they recently showed Serpico battling some Gators warriors for the new game so I'm guessing they're gonna adapt up to the boat.
You mean the game and not the 2016 anime, right?
Because the anime is only 12 episodes.
In retrospect, they are rushing the fuck out if it
The absolute madman.
Miura has a strange fixation for eyeballs. If they're being dissolved wouldn't you think the eyes would be the first things to go, instead of the fucking last?
I think it's more psychological. Like the eyes are the windows to the soul so eyeballs (and their pupils are inherently linked to life.
So if you see someone melting and their eyes are the last to melt, it becomes more like the person is still alive till the end and experiencing the pain of it all.
>Reincarnation of a reincarnation doesn't happen
>What is a reincarnation cycle
For Faux Indians, they sure got it wrong.
Never thought about it that way. Makes a lot of sense. Still, I always found a bit funny the amount of eyeballs that go flying around during the fights.
Ah yes, I wrote a paper on that quite recently. Though it was much more on the female gaze in film and how it translates to castration and such, not really the eyes themselves.
I just do another series, I guess. Although I'll prob dump when a new volume gets released as well.
You know how Guts was manipulated to come to the tower along with Casca to facilitate Griffith's rebirth? They're doing the same shit with Ganishka. Griffith knows the story that was laid out unless Guts somehow fucks it up.
So far it's a nice breather aside from Guts doing Guts stuff.
My only problem is how lacking of tension it is, knowing Griffith prob won't ever die or such.
I recall reading in an article that they're actually going back to the beginning, and it looks like they're doing as much story as they can.
I thought the new one is confirmed to be 24 episodes?
My guess is that they're gonna do it sorta like how OP Warriors did it. Everyone's on a boat and are just telling stories and reminiscing.
So I it may not be done chronologically as they need a cool place to end the game which is either the Eclipse or lightning Zodd.
They probably all were chosen to be in the guise of the Hawk on purpose so they could boost morale or show stories of fake cut of heads.
You can only be gay for something if that thing is portrayed in a masculine way.
All I'm saying is that if there's one possibly heraphroditic thing I'm gonna ride, it's gonna be Roderick's seahorse.
Most Midlanders had fair features and they use the women from conquered locations.
How many months before Miura goes on a break?
At least I hope it isn't Togashi with HxH.
>does 2 chapters
Who knows how long he'll keep this up since starting back?
Someone tell me the point of these spoons in front of their mouths.
>Their helmets make some sort of mustache
This is a joke right?
Why do we have to think so deeply about it? I think Miura just didn't want to waste time to come up with dozens of different female designs. They're there for a few panels or pages at max anyway.
Indians which means mostly Hindu. Ganishka's very name is a Hindu name, plus all the monks working around are exactly same designs as hindu pundits. I think they are supposed to represent medieval south asian people regardless of religion.
Also, is this guy related to Farnese?
Isn't Griffith inspired by a friend of Miura on college? He's a mangaka too and Miura based the conversations between Guts and Griffith on his conversations between him and said mangaka.
Any similarity with Anno and Ikuhara is pure coincidence
That's what I've been wondering myself for the past few volumes. Like, really now.
It like takes much longer to upload even.
It's a screenshot from the new game, though I'm not sure why the Behelit sword is red
In retrospect, the parallels between the Bakirakka clan/Silat and Guts are quite neat. Both have had their fall from grace and both have made it this far by struggling with everything they've got to make the most of a shitty hand dealt to them by fate.
They both would rather see things to the end from the outside looking in, than be taken under the Hawk's wings.
Yeah he will, otherwise he has no excuse of drawing 5 chapters annually and hed have to actually progress the story.
Im pretty sure most of the mangakas who draw really detailed pages do it so they can take their sweet time coming up with a story and dialogue.
Well Caska is nearing her potato peeler after all these years. I'm worried that that will be handled in the current mediocre quality.
The only other option is waiting another 6+ months for final closure, though, and that's also worrying.
And that's that for now.
I may dump more stuff later, dunnow if it'll still be Berserk though.
I wanna dump Sense of Values of Wine with censored vagina but dunnow the roles on it.
Aww, shame. My favourite page in this manga is in the next chapter.
Thanks for dumping, anon.
It might be worth downloading a batch image resizer if you are done all your seeding etc. too.
I haven't caught up to these threads on my binge, but the Dark Horse scans really make me appreciate how good Evil Genius was at anything besides having native high res scans, which has nothing to do with Dark Horse's own merit.
But I can't deny that I'm a sucker for superior art, even if the pages are trimmed way too much at times.
So the demon from the last episode will track guts right?
Q: is this guy writing again? Ive been out of it for a while, i thought he was addicted to some kind of girly game.
Id also like to reread berserk, but this story for some reason gets to me more and i dont want to be in a bad mood because i saw griffith or some other fag. Any tips?
he kinda took Rickert under his wing in a way, escorting him round Falconia and explaining things, took him to meet his liege-lord Griffith and Rickert kinda betrayed the trust and respect he was shown by slapping him.
>is this guy writing again?
>i dont want to be in a bad mood because i saw griffith or some other fag
If seeing a fictional character makes you bothered to the point of not wanting to read, you probably have problems.
>knowing Griffith prob won't ever die or such.
like any woman, Griffith was unable to resist the pull of a bad boy like Guts. So, when he came into vast supernatural power he used it to slowly transform Guts into a bland, well-adjusted average shonen manga hero, who would have no appeal for him.
ah, this one.
Should've probably given it a proper read sometime
Griffith's technically her son with Guts, she'll just be written off as insane again. Plus she'll die from brand pain in the Apostle-infested Falconia, and Griffith has no need for her alive now that he has his meal ticket.
She'll probably recover and conveniently not remember anything that happened during the eclipse, and will have a hard time believing Griffith killed everyone and raped her afterwards.
That or the only way to heal her is a full 100% mind wipe/reset, and she'll forget Guts as well as Griffith.
Guts will probably think that's for the best and leave her on the island, and be alone again.
>preserves dot matrix
>can be downscaled to whatever resolution your display has at viewing times using high-quality scaling algorithms
better than some fucking thumbnails like >>144428584 that only cover 1/6th of my screen
elves shouldn't be so sexy, it's dangerous.
>draws on huge canvas
>puts effort into small details
>gets printed as small tankubon
>'the scan is too large'
Well, I can understand the feelings regarding the big file size.
But rather a tad anoyed now than having to read a (then) low res Berserk in 10 years.
She should recover and join Guts' party if only to justify the amount of time it took to get her there. Skully raised the possibility of her being cured around twelve years ago, and that was when Guts and pals actually got to see the ocean. Smug cuckfags aside, you gotta put this shit into perspective, there's legitimately nothing to be gained and a lot more to be lost from this process not going as planned.
I'm sure she'll be healed. That I have no doubt.
But her feelings, once healed, are still a matter of speculation. What if she can no longer face Guts after what happened, or admits she can't live without Griffith?
They'll probably have some whole sequence where while being healed there's a part of her Schierke has to go inside of magically and allow to be opened or something.
I think she should have a few chapters from her own perspective following being healed without Guts, where she can meet their new companions and figure out what he's been through for her sake. If she actually saw the current state of him as soon as she goes back to normal she'd freak out and panic, so she definitely needs time to adjust to things. I wouldn't mind seeing her strike up a friendship with Isidro, seeing as he's the only male in the party she's willing to hang out and play with already, but if she's going to NTR Guts she may as well forsake the dick for Farnese.
Not only is Ganishka huge beyond reasonable, Guts doesn't have the resonance sword.
Ganishka-Shiva would probably have a similar effect to the God Hand and hurt Guts a lot just by being nearby
Witches riding Guts' dick like it's a broom because his sword is so big and yet he wields it so effortlessly. Also, little to no progress is made on seeing the elf king, because something happens/gets in the way. Schierke loses her way and big Daddy Guts has to remind her of how important she is to him and by him I mean the group.
