Also in Berserk, he's not "edgy" 24/7, nor does he cries or even talks much about "oh how shit my life was".

In short: There's actual character development, constantly, there's depth in it and it's not just a written/walking cliche.

He does care for more than just killing shit though. The reason he was originally sent to Mars was because he hit his Commanding Officer for ordering him to fire on civilians. He almost sacrificed himself for the evacuation of Earth. Not only that, he went literally went to hell and back to retrieve his pet rabbit's soul and in the last game he backed up VEGA before shutting it down. He doesn't hate everything, but just really hates demons and the UAC, and he couldn't give an ounce of a deep fried fuck about their profits.
Doomguy is a great example of a really well-written character with minimal actual characterization and absolutely no dialog and he's anything but edgy. I like to say he's the Guts of vydia.

Sort of. It's another one of those RPG/fantasy mixes. In this universe, there's a demon king that spawns once every X years. The only people that can kill them are these gestalts or whatever. Their secret power is that when they make a blood contract with people, they gain the levels that they had when they die. But it's temporary, so they go back to their previous level right after.

It's honestly edgy as fuck and not even that interesting. Author is shit at writing, so it's hard to get a feel of the scope of the world and how exactly fighting even fucking works. The only thing he does right is have the magic not just be laser beam shit. Like there's one dude who uses his snot as a weapon. I also liked how the author kinda subtly explained how the cities keep getting rebuilt after the demon king comes and fucks it up (architect magic that can make buildings from sand).

All in all, it's not that great. But I've read far shittier manga, including ones that are edgy for edgy's sake. It's called "Yakushoku Distpiari - Gesellshaft Blue" if you want to try it yourself.

His teammates are typically level 20-30. The boss enemies tend to be level 60+. If his teammates can kill it fine, but when his party starts going down or shows signs of having no chance, he kills them and absorbs their levels and do it himself.

And agreed with the integration of RPG concepts. I think it would have been fine to just keep it at levels for simplicity of the plot (makes it easier to know how strong he needs to be). But the damage indicator is just so fucking stupid.

Also, it kind of makes you feel like the edgelords have to reset to level 1, but there's another one that is a "typical shounen protag" that acts as a rival/contrast char who says nobody has to die and he's level 30 something, which is a fairly high level. So I'm not quite sure why MC has to stay at level 1. Maybe they explained it and I forgot.
