And yet Chisa was stabbed in the exact same place, and she didn't bleed out
>mfw despairfags think their SOL garbage is gonna top this episode
You know how you faggots say "Aw, Chisa is essentially Maizono from the first game"? I don't think Chisa fits the bill, Asahina seems more like the Maizono kill.
Think about it, Both Maizono and Asahina were 2 girls Naegi deeply cared about and he'd basically say he'd protect them blah blah blah. He only talked with Chisa for a small bit and didn't even indicate about caring for her compared to Asahina or Maizono. Then suddenly Asahina is killed and Naegi is the first to be blamed, like what happened in the first game. So while it's easy to say Chisa is the Maizono of the anime series, I honestly think Asahina is more like that.
But that's just my take on it, feel free to disagree with me.
I don't believe it
The only survivor to not get something after DR1 is killed in episode 2 after only appearing at the end of episode 1?
Either the death is a hoax and she'll be fine next week or the whole thing is DR2
I knew it'd be her the second they all got stuck in a room together.
They had to kill someone in the room with naegi because if they didn't then the "Naegi is a traitor" plotline would probably get fucked. The other two were very obviously plot relevant, especially wheelchair-chan.
The only thing she had going for her was veteran status, but that's what was supposed to be the "Shocking" part of it I guess.
Isn't the blood way too fresh?
It isn't even clotting or turning brown?
And look at the way she is grasping her stomach.
When under anesthesia, you aren't suppose to feel pain yet while getting stabbed, Aoi's hand grasped and rubbed her stomach in pain so what the fuck is this bullshit sleeping drug that is being used?
Patients aren't suppose to move around while under Anesthesia.
I can only conclude that Aoi temporarily woke up from the pain.
>the "Naegi is a traitor" plotline would probably get fucked.
Yes and it should
We've past the point where people are trying to kill him, casting more doubt on him is pointless, if anything someone should die somewhere else so they can function and the whole of episode 3 won't be 'lets kill naegi' again, it's not like the doubt will go away either, just get reduced to reasonable levels
Why would you stab someone using your
Aoi is not dead.
Anime OP shows Aoi gets stabbed in the stomach.
In the anime episode, Aoi gets stabbed in the chest instead yet instead of grabbing her chest from the pain of being stabbed there, Aoi grabs her stomach in pain, instead, when she wasn't even stabbed there like the Anime Opening?
Animator Mistake or Fake Death?
Isn't one of the Future Foundation Members an Expert in Drugs?
Remember Romeo and Juliet? A drug that imitates death?
Perhaps, Aoi is alive but drugged to appear dead?
Seiko might have fake teeth filled with various drugs for emergency situations after all.
speaking of OP
>OP actually shows number of survivors at the END of the episode
>end of first episode: chisa is not really dead, therefore 16 survivors
>end of second episode: asahina is not really dead, therefore 15 survivors
Are you feeling the DESPAIR now, anon?
who was the 16'th?
Of course she isn't dead, the color of her "blood" is entirely wrong.
If you found someone lying on the floor with a black liquid on them you wouldn't think they're dead either.
Red blood, yeah right.
Reminder Weedman is only present in the first episode to make you not question the fact there are 16 people, but in reality he has no relevance, is not part of the game, and there is another person among them.
Bull Guy can keep breaking down the floors of the building.
My question is why he can't keep doing that both in an upward motion or downward motion?
Bull Head Guy can break an entrance into the rooftop of the building to call or signal for help.
Or Bull Head Guy can keep breaking floors down to the first floor to seek help.
Also, the walls of buildings aren't made too strong especially ones that are filled with outlets for systems that depend on electricity.
This is because if the walls are too thick, you can make an electrician feel like work is a pain in the ass which is why those istant foam spraying on walls that are sometimes used these days to save heating costs on a home is so frowned upon.
Anyways, continuing on with what I am saying, why is someone so strong like Bull Guy not taking advantage of his strength to break down walls?
He could have broke the roof right now to get on top of the building.
At some point after breaking through multiple floors I'm sure Monokuma would say something like "try that again and I'll activate the poison in your bracelet". Also, they're not in the same building as they were in the first episode, evidenced by the lack of the knife or cut from said knife that Ando threw at the wall in the first episode, which Kirigiri noticed almost immediately.
>The survivors escape the building
>They find out years have past and their memory was wiped
>They are rescued by the FF
>They reach the docking port
>A single figure is there waiting
>The city is a gleaming utopia is behind him
>"Hey, guys! I did it!"
How would you feel?
>You forgot the big guy with funny voice, retard.
No I didn't dipshit. Neither Chisa nor Asahina are dead by the end of the second episode, hence the survivor count being 15, only 1 person is listed as dead; Bandai.
>Not making a generic sprite for the traitor, and instead using a whited out version of Kirigiri was extremely lazy.
Are you serious? Making a generic sprite would be easy as fuck, but given that they literally put the sprite in the same position as Kirigiri makes it quite clear they want you to think it's her.
He's probably trying to counteract this situation and will show up near the end.
He'll have his arms crossed and look to the side while saying "You really are a hopeless bunch"
>miaya will rely on the fact and be excused as being innocent since she's in a wheelchair
>she'll pull a monaca and show that she doesn't actually need it and is in fact the traitor
A+ WRITING KODAKA
more to add, seem he also a left handed
It is you who need to explain your autism to your parents.
The show is trying to fool us into believeing that Hagakure is the 16th participant but actually he is just a red herring and the actual traitor and murderer is hiding inside the building.
None of the FF guys is the traitor
This is exactly what Kodaka want you to believe
>Ultra DESPAIR HAGAKURE is the title
>Boxer says "As long as you live, the FF can be rebuilt."
They were throwing death flags left and right that episode
God damn I feel bad for anyone who isn't watching this as it airs, but rather all at once after it's finished airing.
I simply could not watch this shit back-to-back. I'd need to get up and walk around after every damn episode. Make's me appreciate the length and structure of the games a lot more since there's a long time between deaths and a lot between, but this is just brutal.
After reading DR0, I can say that it is absolutely not important at all. Well, we will see some of it parts in despair arc. The novel is writing with some mess, despair style, the main character POV can't be trusted etc. Most of the important things it reveals are about the dead characters, and how Junko took her second step (not a really important one). So if you want to read it, don't
The fucking CEO of the FF is the former headmaster of HPA. They're basically one and the same, only the FF is dedicated to cleaning up the mess that the former students of HPA (the despair faggots) made. FF doesn't have anything against HPA, other than likely regretting ever admitting Junko. Ando and Izayoi have however mentioned in the show that they both dislike HPA and the FF, but are members of the latter. They're probably not the traitors but they're definitely not loyal.
HPA shut down soon before the events of DR1, what was left was converted to a shelter for the 78th class and well we know how that turned out.
I'm telling you guys, none of the shown people in the room is a traitor. Hagakure isn't a participant but there's somehow still 16 people counter in the first ep.
Why would they count a person who probably left the island 1 hour after the attack or before they all woken up?
And since the building is not the same as in ep1, that mean that even if he stayed on the island, the game is taking place in a different place outside the island.
>And since the building is not the same as in ep1, that mean that even if he stayed on the island, the game is taking place in a different place outside the island.
What if they just got moved down a level?
Umineko was a confusing pile of shit that turned into a fantasy series instead actual detective story.
At least anime was piece of shit.
It did nothing but baited Higurshi fans into thinking that it going to be good.
No one has brought up the make up artist from Killer Killer who disguised another corpse as a really convincing Naegi
Isn't the Killer Killer manga supposed to tie in with the DR3 anime??
We saw Chisa's eyes upon her death. We don't see Asahina's.
Hotwheels fucking tazed Boxer guy and Seiko pushed him away trying to treat Bandai. These two are amazing already. Not to mention Hotwheels can actually drift while her face remain calm lol.
Kodaka really likes his symbolism.
1. The future arc has started off with someone dying straight off the bat.
2. Similarly to DR1 - Someone important to Naegi dies
3. He gets blamed for it.
4. There are only 15 out of 16 visible survivors in the game. In this case, Hagakure is outside. In DR1, we didn't know the missing individual was Junko.
I wouldn't be surprised if similar scenarios happened again. Locked room, double murders (i guess the blacksmith and confectioner), etc.
Cry harder, if you're gonna play the "Asahina faked her corpse" then you can say the same about Chisa
At least its better theory than "GigaNIgga is alive and the poison chick is with him in it together"
She noticed that a thrown knife on the wall wasn't there when they woke up.
Is either different building or someone took that knife, presumably the knife guy,
Her forbidden action is either not talking 1 on 1 with anyone or just not telling who the killer is.
Not until next episode, Anon.
There's no doubt in my mind Chisa is dead, but Asahina might have a chance.
Also, interestingly enough I heard there was a private showing before the premiere of Episode One that had Asahina dying and it was being leaked out despite Kodaka asking everyone not to spoil it
Allegedly an anon was going around on tumblr telling this to everyone
I'm trying to say that the mastermind set up the fake corpse and will use Asahina as leverage later
Asahina is a beloved fan favorite. It'd make sense to fake us out like that.
Give us some despair.
Forbidden action seems to be to do with talking. I thought it was to not talk to Naegi, but she also didn't talk to Tengan either which threw me off a bit.
The wall was missing a cut-mark since Ando threw a knife into it in the first episode, but there was no knife or any trace of it this time. So she's figured out they've been transported.
Nobody is dying, it's all a ruse. That's why everyone is going to sleep, because of that, they have time to change the corpse with a fake one.
It's propaganda to show that despise all the despair, hope will win.
Accept the fact she is dead, she doesn't serve a purpose like Kirigiri, she was only protected by suicide plot armor.
>Also, interestingly enough I heard there was a private showing before the premiere of Episode One that had Asahina dying and it was being leaked out despite Kodaka asking everyone not to spoil it
No the people who went to the pre-screening confirmed it was Chisa who died first, there were 3 things they weren't allowed to say.
1. Chisa being the first victim
2. Chisa being the main character of Zetsubou-hen
3. Hagakure's participation in the killing game
You could say it's like poetry. But seriously there are only so many times you can reuse your own story without being called a hack and Kodaka is dangerously close to that limit. DR2 kinda had a reason why everything was reused but there is no good excuse for everything after it.
holy shit yes please
his was the only death that gave me chills in the franchise, even though it was expected walking into the warehouse and seeing him was best part of the game.
>that's why the blood is red while in the despair arc it's still pink
Will Asahina and Bandai join Chisa in the theatre this Thursday? If she does, what the fuck is going on and what is the real tie between Mirai and Zetsubou? Damn Kodaka, I want off this ride.
The big ideological confrontation of the Future Arc seems to be Naive Hope vs Kill Em All Hope. So what the hell Chisa meant when said they should combine hopes? How is goody two-shoes Makoto supposed to work with a guy who just wants to exterminate everything?
>Ryota Mitarai in both arcs
>everything's all an animation he's made and is showing his teacher
>77th class never fell into despair
>78th class never participated in a killing game
I'm about 99% sure the only reason they killed her off is because she was the only survivor of the first game whose "important person" died in AE. She had nothing to live for.
Komaru is alive, weedmom is alive, Togami butler is alive, and gramps Kirigiri is alive. Lil brown bro got blown the fuck up.
In zetsubou it's just SHSL impostor pretending to be Mitarai, although reason is unclear.
She believes hope shines brighter than talent. Just take anything she says as suspicious.
No the blood is red in Mirai-hen to highlight the serious atmosphere of the show.
already dead as 200 years have already passed
Ne ne, /a/.
You think you're smart, right?
Kids these days are all the same. They think they have the best ideas, they are the smartest, but they're still unsuccessful just because they're not "giving their best", that "their time hasn't come yet".
Who do you think I'm broadcasting this killing game for?
It's for you brats! I know you like Despair as much as the next bear. So you better make your little clockwork brain work and try to guess who's the traitor.
We'll be having this poll every after episode of Mirai-Hen, so I can see how the majority changes and see the Despair in your eyes when most of you realize they were dead wrong with their guess.
W-what? It's not like I've too much free time between the episodes! Shubo~n...
Nothing is forbidden as long as it's fun! Especially for me!
And you had fun too with the previous killing games, admit it. Pu pu pu pu pu.
Oh, hello. It's the Super High School Level Dumbo.
>anons seriously think DR2 is anywhere near as good as DR1 with this complete bullshit asspull ending
Defend this Despairfags
One of the popular theories seems to be that he's in cahoots with the pharmacist and she just gave him the antidote.
Also, he carefully closed the doors behind him so some people assume he knew Munakata's NG. (If it indeed is opening doors)
That, and the fact it was literally impossible for him to survive with such a rule
Anon come on, there's a difference between being ultimate hope that gave a good pep talk to convince people not to fall in to despair than a situation where Hajime was never meant to wake up and was Izuru who was supposed too.
DR1's ending didn't make the entire last chapter pointless like DR2 did.
>mfw he's secretly Izuru in disguise and is just faking it to get FF off their back and now they have organised plans with their new info and fucking with Naegi in DR3
Who is the Ultimate Lifeform?
>Hope's Peak Academy alumni
>Bombs in Baghdad
>Truck in Nice
>Cops killed in Austin
>another police shooting in Baton Rouge
>continued civil unrest in first world countries
The biggest, most awful, most tragic event in human history is coming anons. Are you ready for the despair?
The pep talks were only in the anime
All he says in the game is "you must not lose hope"
The anime actually was better in that part because he gave actual pep talks instead of just "don't lose hope"
I'm sure Hagakure has already died outside. He will be thrown in as a dead in the 6th night to confuse the group
>The traitor can use some bomb inside the house to destroy someone outside the house
or something like that
It's not like he's spamming the entire thread avatarfagging
Just noticed something.
Why the hell does the FF building have Monokuma shaped monitors everywhere?
I'd understand if it was only the pic shown on the monitors, but the shape too...
too bad she can't tell anybody, though i don't know how that would help them
Okay maybe i exaggerated saying whole but let me give ya the run down
>he has 2 choices, blissfully live in the VR world with everyone alive forvever or wake up as a despair with the people dead now actually dead in the real world too with your current self gone
>everyone is like you gotta be shitting me and start quarrelling
>Hajime goes the through the typical doushiooooo
>now facing an inner crisis in his head and seeing a bunch of edgy Izuru's yapping and making him feel like garbage
>now sees the people who were supposed to have died alive all talking normally
>at this point about to just give in until Chiaki saves his ass and gives him a cute pep talk
>sudden DBZ shit and BTFO out of everyone
>realises he'd rather not live in some fake ass world forever
>later then wakes up
>oh shit I'm back to myself , so i basically shitted myself and stressed the fuck out of myself for nothing and was going to wake up back to myself anyways and the others who survived too
>too bad she can't tell anybody,
Anon it's already been stated she can talk.
>"I will keep on living as Hajime Hinata."
I assumed what Junko said would happen is exactly what happened. Hajime woke up as Izuru and with Izuru's memories. But in the simulation he accepted his past as Izuru and will still look towards the future regardless and when he woke he had the memories of both Izuru and his lost and NWP memories as Hajime and decided to stay with the latter, being successfully rehabilitated.
Thanks anons. Didn't know how this went under the radar for me. It's pretty fun.
I was not expecting that boring old man to be leading the poll.
Be sure to vote, byenara!
Kirigiri is the best part of that doujin, the guy needs to do more of her.
>chose a third option that shouldn't have been possible
and how exactly did they get off that island?
So you are telling me people can choose what options they want and it''ll work out just like that?
Why can't i choose an option where ZTD wasn't shit then?
Quitters never have a chance to win. Instead why not keep watching and see how things turn out? Maybe you'll be surprised.
This image is not very good as the original does not state "Viper, kill yourself my man". Instead, it's a cover of an album called "Kill yourself my man" by the rapper "Viper". Putting Naegi there would imply that it's Naegi's CD when properly referring to the original meme.
The whole purpose of Aoi's survival is that she was the one who carried on the memories of their dead friends (aside from Naegi but he's a little more all encompassed in his HOPE and blandness)
The other four survivors were loners who never really acted close with anybody who died.
Anyone figure out everybody's NG code yet?
Bandai: Witnessing Violence
Miaya: Can't be touched
Boxer Cunt: Can't punch anyone
Munakata: Opening doors
Kigiri: Probably can't speak to Naegi-kun
Gozu: If I take that mask off would he die?
Both endings were disappointing but DR2's got damn near incomprehensible really
on the otherhand, the MC formally acknowledging that this entire Hope vs Despair conflict is a load of nonsense was nice in my opnion
I hope V3 has a different core conflict because the overarching story across both 1&2 is kind of shit to be honest, salvaged only by the smaller scale plot-twists and the stuff related to them
I wonder if they're going to end up having it that Izuru did something beyond merely inserting AI Junko when he messed with the Neo World Program or something. The stuff Izuru says in Chapter Zero and the stuff he's assumed to have done don't match up with each other.
I know that the writers do the usual thing of leaving vague stuff that can be taken advantage of in future unplanned sequels in this series, this seems like one of those things.
His name literally means to betray/fight against or something, apparantly. Also him getting killed by Munakata's swords in the OP is just sorta strange in itself.
Something's up with him. Right at the beginning of the series, Naegi's trial would've happened there and then if he hadn't punched the guy. I don't think that Juzo is on or will be on Makoto's side but rather he has some sort of hidden motive of his own here.
Tengan: Sexual harassment
She can talk, but she probably can't share her discoveries to participants. Had that been the case she would've probably told everyone the moment she saw the knife contradictions.
In fact that exact statement may be referring to the fact that she can say her Forbidden action since that was technically a discovery she made, though that's a stretch
>Gozu: If I take that mask off would he die?
Why would he take it off in the first place? What purpose would that serve? Unless they start wondering if he can actually be put to sleep or not and taking it off is the only proof. Hmm.....
It's only because of her shitty family, she's a pure marshmallow that didn't deserve it
It was a coping mechanism for a fragile girl, come on.
Maybe Izuru modified the software or something. He planned to get revenge on Junko overall so he may have fucked over the memory transfer and as a side effect Hinata able to retain his memory.
>tfw ywn see him naked
life is truly unfair, don't you think?
DR takes place in the timeline where the terrorist (Junko) kills 8 Billion with her remnants of despair
VLR is after Radical 6 kills Junko and stops the destruction of 8 billion.
ZTD Ending is the perfect set-up for a Danganronpa/Zero Escape cross-over where the ZE crew has to find Junko and stop her.
I want to marry Hiyoko! I'll protect her from all the bullies whoinfested this franchise!
She is cute pie! CUTE!
>DR anime has all of them wearing bracelets that put them to sleep and will kill them if they break any rules
>ZTD has them declaring WE WILL CREATE OUR OWN FUTURE
it's going to fucking happen
I posted Hiyoko, not Mikan
I want to rub her cheeks!
I'd say the 13th head but it would mean the 13th head died the moment Chisa "died" which is why the count went down from 16 to 15 at the beginning of the second episode. The 13th head died in Episode 1 not Chisa.
What a pity. I feel sorry for you.
Tsumiki was a pigbarf since the very beginning it's only truth!
Shut up, you whore, you piss-shutting woman!
Naegi was Junko's partner in crime all along.
Only from Ultimate Hope's ashes Ultimate Despair can be born.
Too early to judge I feel, most of the characters have still yet to do anything.
>I like the couple too.
Those two + Seiko are the three I'm interested the most in to be honest.
Why didn't he listen to Kizuna man?
He misses crushing cards to summon his personas
That intro is fucking hype
is the challenge going to be guessing which of the deaths presented in the intro won't actually happen? Or are they directly foreshadowing the fact that they're all going to die?
Strangely enough though, they all woke up in the same place they fell asleep, to made it look like they are still in the same building, yet boxer guy woke up in a totally different place.
>Naegi, Asahina, Great Gozu and Hot Wheels were together in the same room and Gozu locked it
>Obviously Naegi is not the killer
>Gozu will surely die too
So either wheelchairs is the killer (Which will be a very obvious plot twist) or the real killer either destroyed the door or used the ventilation system to kill Asahina, frame Naegi and leave without any trace.
Yes, but he did have a knife.
It wouldn't be absolutely ridiculous if somebody else had one.
Hell, Yu has a magic katana and Izayoi probably keeps like half a ton of steel under his coat.
No reason for Hajime to be seperated from everyone else if that were the case. Not to mention that it shows things like Chisa calling Munakata over the phone and so on.
If we are getting "it's not real!" shit again it'll be the Future Arc, that's already corroborated by Despair ep 1's intro scene of Chisa watching Future in that theater even.
But she knows. Touko had shit load of time to contact her and tell the news. She even says that she will have to do it in AE after he dies.
It's very sad but we all knew that was going to happen.
AE was before DR2. DR2 lasted a while (a week?). Touko had to have informed someone.
And besides, I really dont give a shit about Asahina knowing her brother died.
Her death grants Hagakure immunity and Kyouko immunity until at least the end or longer.
>red blood, not purple
The blood was always canonically red. The wacky neon blood was both a censorship measure to keep the game from getting a CERO Z rating, and a stylistic choice based on the tone of the plot.
Well, that's brave. I was wondering if they'll have the balls to use original game characters as victims, and as killers. Halfway through that now.
I like him, too bad he's the murderer for this round.
What did she mean by this?
But he's a fucking normalfag. If they arent committing suicide, they should at most be stepping stones.
