Okay guys, all memes aside here, I need to know:
What the fucking fuck happened to Tsukihime? How did they make Tsukihime so criminally boring? How the fuck did JC Staff make Tsukihime's famously colorful characters so bland?
Moreover, how the fuck does JC Staff still get work after Azumanga, Tsukihime, and Raildex?
How does /a/ feel about Arc's miniskirt?
The first, actually.
Does she look like a milk cow to you?
She definitely has the jugs for it, yes.
It's still an amazing look.
A ribbed sweater would also be fine, but I guess that's getting too much into Aoko territory and not even Takeuchi is shameless enough to do double sameface.
Do you think they'll change this look too?
I still hate it. I hope the remake will never come out.
Especially since it'll just bring new wave of shitposting with no actual content added.
That is not Arcuied. Unless you're saying they'll change her design to be similar to that, then I wouldn't mind.
That's a dumb as fuck argument because Arc and Saber have always had the same face. Takeuchi draws faces similarly. Deal with it.
Granted, it wasn't an argument, but my point still stands. Takeuchi even draws his men similarly, why haven't people gotten over this yet?
Yers, Takeuchi always had a sameface problems, that's why accessories/hair/outfits are such crucial parts of his designs, since without them all characters would look the same.
That's what's wrong with new Arc, she lost her unique hairstyle and her outfit, making her look like another Saber clone even though her features should make her look more like Ilya.
Most likely considering Tsuki no Sango is Tsukihime alternative.
Cute, anon. How about you let the adults keep talking.
What the fuck are you talkin about, EOP autist?
>Scathac and Aoko look literally the same
>claiming that Takeuchi always suffered sameface
Sure is sameface.
That hairstyle is atrocious. Holy shit I'm glad they changed it. Good job, Takeuchi.
I'm comparing Takeuchi once he learned how to actually draw. So yes, sameface.
Why was Tsuki no Sango so good?
>Mahoyo 2 & 3
>New Melty Blood
What else am I missing that has ben butchered because of Fate/Keep Milking?
Here is some more info about playable servants and such. Just for you anon.
>butchered because of Fate/Keep Milking?
Mahoyo was released.
DDD 3 was not.
So DDD WAS BUTCHERED BECAUSE OF MAHOYO SHIT right? Or maybe becuase of Tsuki remake? Fuck off. You will never read those titles anyway.
I just hope that when we get the Tsukihime remake, Len gets to make an appearance.
How the fuck did we enter a non-existing thread? Is this where God resides?
Are you there.....Lain?
It was officially made Len some time ago when they released character names with English spellings.
i hope so.
If it has porn, then probably. We might catch a glimpse of her when that wet dream sequence happens.
If not, she still might appear since she'll probably still be relevant in Melty Blood HD.
Or, god forbid, they made a Kagetsu Tohya HD and take eight fucking years on that too.
sure wish i could go to these kind of events.
lots of nice things.
There is nothing more to say really.
the direction that pile of shit nasu took after the psp game started printing money talks for itself.
Its so bitter how he gave up the few genuinely interesting ideas he put in the two original vns to just pander braindead millenial Sunday waifufags and literally get rich doing nothing.
I will never forgive him, takeuchi and his company.
Typemoon itself broke the spell selling their soul for money, so Tsuki anime escaped its dimensional prison in the collective subconscious of internet, getting de-retconned back into reality.
Not every creative company sells out completely, specially when they come from niches. see Nitro+, Littlewitch, and many others I don't remember now.
And to be frank, I feel betrayed at personal level. Tsukihime was something special when it came out for being the product of two amateurs. its something you can understand only if you have experienced those magical oldfag days firsthand, I don't expect you to understand.
Gotta pay those employees' salaries, anon.
And your feelings of betrayal are just your sense of entitlement speaking. They're unfounded. You're just being self-centered and self-righteous.
Also, I've been following this shit since around 2004. I'm just not as self-centered as you are.
Yeah that's probably it, I preordered it like a month ago.
Not that guy you were talking to, but Type-moon sold out. I can't blame them for wanting money and all, like you said, people need money. It's just too bad that they decided to milk one franchise into the ground, because their earlier work had some many cool ideas.
Except Fate's not milked into the ground. I challenge you to find me one Fate work done by-actually WRITTEN by-Nasu that doesn't have great storytelling, great plot, interesting characters, additional lore, and all around fun.
Hint: you can't.
Well it's hardly their fault that they keep getting so many offers. Though what IS Nasu's fault is that he keeps accepting those offers.
To be honest, it's probably the only real way a company like TYPE-MOON can actually function. I'm amazed that a "company" like that even exists at all. Do you realize that without all these contracts and game deals with these third party companies who want in on that Fate action, TYPE-MOON as a company would derive all of its profits almost solely off the works of a single writer? In fact, that's still mostly what's happening, since Nasu is the head writer for all of these projects. However, writing a bunch of worldbuilding notes and some dialogue/monologue is still much easier and quicker to do than writing full-blown novels, which is what Fate/stay night, Fate/hollow ataraxia and Mahoyo are. Without these contract deals, TYPE-MOON would basically be churning out one product at a time, across several years, and would derive most of its profits off that.
Even with what they're doing now, I don't believe TYPE-MOON can last. At the very least, they need to throw out some products that WEREN'T fucking written by Nasu. Don't they have other writers in that company? What the fuck are they doing?
>I'm just not as self-centered as you are.
Well good for you. Sincerely I don't feel like keep following blindly a company that shifted its production towards the lowest possibile market denominator, and since no law prohibites me to talk negatively about it I guess I'll keep doing it
If wasting your time with a waifu supermarket is okay for you because "as expected, a company jews it out", well enjoy your brand loyality. Thankfully I'm not in prone position towards entertainment, ready to accept blindly everything that tries to enter in my butt.
Anon, I don't "follow" companies. I think this is a retarded sentiment. I might check up on a company's products from time to time to see if they're releasing anything that might interest me, but I don't wait at their doorstop with bated breath desperately waiting for them to put something out.
Being too invested on the company or the person is a fool's errand. It's not like I bought stocks from them or anything.
Here's the shit that Nasu personally wrote or had significant involvement in since the foundation of the company:
>**428: Fuusasareta Shibuya de (only wrote a single side scenario in the game and it has absolutely no affiliation with TYPE-MOON)
>Clock Tower 2015 (short story, written by Nasu)
>**DDD (not officially a TYPE-MOON product)
>Fate/stay night (animated adaptation, had heavy involvement)
>Fate/stay night Unlimited Blade Works (animated adaptation, did some writing for it as well as a considerable advisory role)
>Fate/stay night Realta Nua
>Fate/hollow ataraxia (head writer, scenario, director)
>Fate/EXTRA (scenario, primary writer)
>Fate/EXTRA CCC (scenario, primary writer)
>Fate/Extella (scenario, primary writer)
>Fate/Zero (minor advisory role)
>Fate/Zero (animated adaptation; advisory role)
>Fate/Grand Order (scenario, primary writer)
>Garden of Avalon (short story; wrote the thing himself)
>Kara no Kyoukai film series (Mainly discussed things with the studio. He didn't really add much to the proceedings since the movies were just straight-up adaptations)
>Kara no Kyoukai -recalled out summer- (short story, written by Nasu)
>Melty Blood: Act Cadenza (scenario/arcade story)
>Melty Blood: Actress Again (scenario/arcade story)
>Melty Blood: Actress Again Current Code (scenario/arcade story)
>Witch on the Holy Night (scenario, head writer, director)
And here's all the shit that Nasu had close to zero involvement in besides giving the OK:
>Hana no Miyako
>Fate/Prototype: Fragments of Blue and Silver
>Shingetter Tsukihime (animated adaptation)
>Shingattai Tsukihime (comic adaptation)
>A bunch of other side stories that I don't feel like noting because I'm really really getting bored now.
>Fate/stay night (animated adaptation, had heavy involvement)
so does it mean that underground caster scene and BDSM wormslut are nasu's works?
It's gonna be 18+. Dunno if there's gonna be porn but Takeuchi wants to make absolutely sure that they keep the blood and gore.
Angel Notes was an anthology novel/comic set that Nasu and Takeuchi contributed to before they formed TYPE-MOON. Tsukihime, Kagetsu Tohya and the first three versions of Melty Blood were created during TYPE-MOON's doujin years, before the official formation of TYPE-MOON the company, officially known as "Notes Co., Ltd" corporation.
I like the MBAA version of both better.
Notes is a short story that takes place far in the future. Mankind managed to pollute and killed all life on the planet, with the exception of humans who managed to survive because of technology. Humans also created a new race of human/animal things, but they ended up in a big war.
Then the Aristoteles show up to destroy everything that's left. Think of those guys like the Types - Type Moon, Type Mercury, etc.
In Prisma Illya, Miyu's world is one in which humanity has managed to poison the world and may end up killing the earth. The end result would be very similar to the world that took place in Notes.
That doesn't mean that Miyu's world absolutely will become the world of Notes, but if you're familiar with Notes you'd see it as a possibility.
Interestingly the future world as described in Notes is also very similar to the Earth in Fate/Extra, which was undergoing similar destruction - just that people turned the Mooncell to save the Earth.
In fact, it's possible that Miyu's world, the Extra world and the world of Notes are all possibly the same world.
If Julian's wish fails, the world continues to degrade. People discover the truth about the Mooncell and attempt to use it to save the Earth. If that's also unsuccessful, we arrive at the future depicted in Notes.
It's unlikely that this will ever be shown or proved to be fact - it's just a neat Easter Egg or "what if" thrown into the series.
Also, here's some Miyu-butt.
Just wait. Tsukihime was good, but Kagetsu Tohya was probably the comfiest VN I've ever read.
Those scenes were definitely the best sex scenes Nasu's written. I especially like the one with Len's footjob.
I also thought the OST was topnotch. It had a bunch of really good songs that I still enjoy listening to today.
How does Tsukihime remake take 16+ years to be completed? All they have to do is put in new art and music.
I'm not a big fan of Tsukihime but loved Kagetsu Tohya and Melty Blood. Mainly because of Lens, Sacchin and the comfy.
Arc is the sexiest Type-Moon.
I think Karen is the sexiest Type Moon, but Arc is my favorite Moon Princess.
I hope Nasu fixes/make Extra more interesting now with Shaft. But only Extra, because Extra CCC is fine as it is, please don't touch that.
Nasu wasn't supposed to work on Grand Order, but after both Orleans and Rome were mediocre at best, he came back to fix things. So now, when Higashide and Sakurai are done, they send the chapters to Nasu and he fixes everything.
>Melty Blood HD
Didn't they say that was the plan after the Tsukihime remake? Unless you want an entirely new Melty Blood game.
UNIEL is boring but at least Sion shit talking the entire cast in her story is entertaining.
I'd argue they got the key plot points just fine, given that we ignore Hisui or Kohaku's relationship with Shiki being nonexistent in the anime. It's just that they made it so fucking boring. It's all washed out and the shot composition is so average it puts me to sleep.
In Arc's route, Arcueid wasn't able to kill SHIKI/Roa due to two handicaps: Still in the healing process from Shiki slicing her up early in the story and being on the fringe of succumbing to her impulses. Marble Phantasm wasn't effective for those very reasons, IIRC.
Koyama is better at colouring and shading, but he can't keep consistent proportions to save his own life. He has yet to draw a Scathatch that doesn't look either retarded or anatomically incorrect.
When the remake comes out, how do you think Nasu will change Akiha's route?
Will she become Shiki's NBR cousin to get over icky NBR sister incest?
