Why is it always the same fucking shit getting posted in here all the time. People are aware that merchandise comes out every few days and that there are more than just Fate/Stay Night figma out there on the market. Is this /a/s quest to make every thread as samey and cyclical as possible? I only got 1 kinda dodgy quality item from Manda and it was when I was in Japan and it was $20 cheaper than another one next to it, it has some noticable nicks/wear on it.

The odd thing I noticed was that it wasn't actually listed on their website, as I checked before I went in. I left it the first time, came back a few days later and it was still there.

Usually though, "box damaged" means someone touched it and it might have a dinged corner or some light scratches. I'd avoid things that are listed as "opened, used" but just "opened" might be alright. Depends on the figure.

The Illya and Kuro figures are made by Amakuni. This particular company has a habit of doing releases exclusive to certain webshops. As a prestigious and rule-respecting merchant Amico can't carry them. You'd have to go through BiJ or Nippon-Yassan if you want to order them with international shipping. These two companies have a history of doing shady things to get their hands on this sort of stuff. I'd check out their MFC page for more info on which store they were exclusive to. Usually I'd pre-order with a proxy or wait until Amico or mandarake gets them on the aftermarket. The problem with the aftermarket is that Amakuni exclusives tend to soar in price upon release. They usually calm down after a couple of months but are usually still above msrp for some time.
