there's some art choices and certain scenes that are distracting, but overall the content is pure berserk. The artstyle works much better in motion, and for some of the bad shots being posted, there are plenty of cool shots in the episode (hoping the bad ones will be changed for blu-ray). The tone and writing are preserved, so I think the issues with the animation are forgivable. Japan only ever puts in for quality animation for sol crap like non non biyori or hanasaku iroha, so I don't know why people are complaining now when most action anime have the same problems + much worse writing

The Golden Age arc is the easiest for people to get into since it's got so much heroic shit going on. And it's got all the huge battles and spectacle. Which costs money. Which would be very hard to procure for the first season of a show based off a Jap comic book that hasn't had a proper adaptation ever.

You just have to make sure that the new audience is willing to have patience so a strong opening is important to so everyone is excited to see what happens next. Make sure the soundtrack kicks ass is all to important too, it's a big part why the 1997 version shined
