The animated bits were, the CG had choppy framerate and they had to slow it down during certain scenes as to try to cover up that fact. That's why it sold like shit in Japan, nobody liked it. So instead of doing what people asked, they decided to throw away the decent drawn bits and just use CG for most of it, which was the biggest problem the audience had with the adaptation. This will sell poorly as well, especially with all the stuff they changed just in episode 1.

can't wait for three episodes in for the trolls to give up on these threads. The episode actually did a good intro for guts as the black swordsman. The voice acting and writing was good, and the scenes with puck were actually funny. There were some bad shots and stupid shaky camera bits, but they preserved the good storytelling from the manga which is what matters for any pre-Bluray release.
All that being said, 0/10 adaptation for white casca

You know whats weird about this is that even probably ten years ago this would be considered terrible quality.
