I do. Except for a bit of quality here and there, I think it's about as good as an adaption as one could hope for, especially when you see how butchered a lot of other adaptions get. It might not be perfect, but it's clear that David fucking loves and gets JoJo, and it's almost always enjoyable to tune in on Fridays.
Not really sure what that guy is going for, but there's always inevitably going to be some things that work better in manga over anime, IE. art and some comedy, but I think the anime has also shown that vice versa can be the case.

Jonathan, Josuke and Jolyne are all pretty openly caring and sweet people, and Joseph, Jotaro and Giorno have good hearts even if they don't always show it.

I'll agree part 4 Jotaro is by far one of the worst Jojos but in parts 4 and 6 he actually works significantly better as a mentor character, and his characterization in part 6 that showed he actually was a caring guy for Jolyne under the cool-guy exterior was fucking brilliant.
As much as I think part 2 is overrated, Joseph was really one of the only things pulling that part, he's a fucking fun character all the way to part 4. Plus even he had his moments of development in the Wham Colosseum fight which was great.

What happens is Epitaph shows him what's meant to happen in the next 10 seconds. If he activates King Crimson, time skips from the start of those 10 seconds to any point in those 10 seconds. The only catch is that Diavolo is immune to whatever was predicted to happen to him in that time so if he sees himself get killed in the vision he can erase time and be perfectly fine standing somewhere else. No one loses their memory, they never had any since he literally erased that time. It's like a record scratch jumping forward in a song. The part that was skipped didn't play but the results remain. So to everyone but Diavolo it just seems like teleportation.

Joseph was a deeply flawed guy, but that's not all that he was. Over part 2 he learns to think about the bigger picture rather than just himself, and Caesar's death sealed the deal. If he was the same person he had been at the start, he'd have just taken Wham's antidote and gone home. It's because he cared that he went through with the fight, and he used himself as bait to get Kars away from vulnerable people like Speedwagon, Smokey and the injured Lisa Lisa afterwards, putting his life on the line for them.

And he's much chiller over part 3, too, other than saying some racist things about Japan and India and roughing up a couple of restaurant-patrons looking for a stand-user I can't remember him doing anything particularly bad.

He did cheat on his wife, and that was fucked up, but you can't just write him off as an irredeemable prick forever. The guy slashed his wrists for a kid he didn't even know, and given how senile he was at the time he probably didn't know/remember that Josuke could heal him.

Epitaph shows Diavolo what's fated to happen in the next 10 seconds. If Diavolo uses KC, those 10 seconds are erased from time but the results remain. So position and status remains, ie if you moved 2 metres forward in that time and stubbed your toe you'd teleport 2 metres ahead and have a stubbed toe. Literally no time passes between activation of KC and the end of erased time so it just seems like teleportation. Diavolo is immune to this, so if he foresees himself stubbing his toe and erased it he won't be hurt. The results of his actions remain though, so if he punches someone and it's erased, at the end of erased time the person will still have the pain of being punched. It basically let's him avoid any attack and set up his own during the confusion caused by seemingly teleporting.

5 is guaranteed to be animated and 6 probably will. If we get a Part 7 anime after that it'll probably never live up to the manga since you'd need more money and time to make it work properly than Warner are willing or able to allot. If Araki was like Koura Hirano was about getting the Hellsing OVAs it'd happen but Araki has stated he's fairly indifferent to the anime and is fine as long as fans like it, and he's not the kind of guy to campaign for a good anime.

I liked part 4 a lot when I read it and I must admit that while it's not bad, the anime hasn't lived up to what I imagined in my mind. Of course we pick the voices we see most fit in our heads and fill the fights with the transition moves we deem make most sense and all but usually the pros figure out how make it way more fluid on screen. Although Phantom Blood seemed like a bad adaptation as far as the story goes, visually it looks much better than the anime and much closer to what I pictured thinga when reading the manga.

I'd have to disagree, I think her character was pretty good. She had the elements Joseph had that made him fun to watch and made part 2 bearable whilst still maintaining a form of compassion that Jonathan had throughout part 1 that gave her character more depth instead of being a Jotaro clone. If anything she's at least much better than Jonathan for simply not being a generic archetype, and is better than part 3 Jotaro by a long way.
Part 6 is my 3rd favorite part, and I'm more than willing to argue that it has it's flaws but overall is much better than people say it is.

It wasn't labelled as JJBA but that's because at first it was intended to be a new series. There was a LOT of confusion back when it first started since it supposedly had nothing to do with JJBA but it was so similar, and even introduced fucking Stands of all things which fucked people immeasurably. There wasn't an official response until after 23 chapters they announced it was moving to Ultra Jump and having JJBA added to the title. That's the only official response we ever got iirc and the rumour was that the publishers wanted the series to end with SO's dwindling volume sales and Araki wanted to write new stories without being restricted by what he wrote in the past which is why he started a new series but it's similarities to JJBA led to it just becoming Part 7 for marketing purposes. There's another rumour that SBR was originally going to be a short spinoff series that became Part 7 because it was taking longer than Araki expected. While there's no reason to believe that one Araki has said before that SBR ran longer than he wanted it to. You can sort of tell he wanted to hurry it up in some areas like how Sandman and Pocoloco were almost entirely dropped and he stopped focusing on character development for everyone except Johnny in the last quarter which lends both theories some credence. We'll probably never know for certain but it was most likely Araki having to end JJBA but wanting to keep writing it so he just made his new series very similar. Or too similar, as the case seems to have been.

Diavolo can't alter the fate of anything or anyone but himself, which means he can't pick up acid or something like that in the first place. He has a way around this though. He wouldn't be able to throw anything on people in erased time unless Epitaph predicted him doing it in which case he wouldn't even need to lift a finger, it'd happen to the person regardless. The blood trick itself only worked because it counted as part of him and that let him alter it's fate during erased time. The scans for Part 5 in general are bad since the good translations are only halfway through. The bad translations butcher characterisation and are the main reason so many people don't understand King Crimson. You're gonna have to read like 75% of it in BW and the second half will feel pretty fucking dry, but hopefully we'll have decent translations before the anime reaches it. Part 6 onwards are all well translated though, but only Part 6 is fully in colour. Part 7 is only partially done in colour and Part 8 is actually still running as we speak, with new chapters out on the 19th of every month. But for Parts 7 and 8 BW is WAY better than colour since Araki switched to monthly a bit of the way into Part 7 and his art becomes god-tier, and the coloured versions only cover up his fine detailing and just generally look bad.
