It almost never happens due to the ending being rushed or the story taking a direction you don't like but this is honestly the best example of I can think of.
You had to go and say it, didn't you?
One of the most stunningly beautiful endings to anything.
I, uh, actually thought we got a pretty much flawless ending out of kiznaiver. I wasn't even mad with how the love triangle and shit was resolved. I mean I was super mad up til the very end but goddamn it worked out okay.
Oh shit, what happens, please spoil.
I enjoyed the anime, but I never got around to reading the manga, also I love romance spoilers. There's something about it that actually makes me more excited to read it when I know what's going to happen.
Basically, it stopped a bit after where Inari couldn't see Uka-sama anymore, and Uka-sama was still being awkward and cute with the nii-chan. Also, no substantial development with Tanbabashi. Sorry, it's been a little while, so I can't give any better details than that.
Start reading around chapters 23-26, that should be in the ballpark of where the anime ended
Seems like the anime covered half of the story then
Uka and nii-chan eventually marry, their development is really really cute
Gun X Sword
>Series that are still not in stores.
I honestly feel like the ending is bittersweet.
You finally return home with your best friend, but so much time has passed, everybody else that you knew is dead and long gone.
