Fucking finally, can't wait to get back to my cubicle.
Remember to tenderize the Yunyun beforehand.
This was sad and cute. Megumin had a hard life.
>Aqua sneaks into the bath after Darkness, to see why she bathes alone.
>Upon discovering Darkness's cock, Aqua teases her, fapping her to near climax.
>She stops right at the edge and figures it's over, but the torture of Aqua stopping right at the edge sends Darkness into a crazed, masochistic rut...
Ignore him, its probably just that one anon who got really triggered over Kazuma getting killed.
Apparently out of all the black comedy moments in the seriously, getting killed by your friends (who know that he can be revived multiple times), is a touch too far. For some reason.
Kind of strange that they included the final moments of the Megumin spin-off in this comedy focused OVA. Though it was a nice moment, just sort of out of place.
I'm conflicted about Toyosaki Aki voicing Yunyun. On one hand, I want to say all girls she voices are best (like Yui, Uiharu, Momo, etc.), but Megumin is already best.
Then again, she did voice that walking pile of shit in Kokoro Connect
On the other hand, I wasn't expecting to hear a voice that high from that kind of character.
This is Yunyun in the LN.
DEEN fucked up hard this time. The other characters, while somewhat different from their LN counterparts, where still easily recognizable. But Yunyun doesn't even look like herself in the OVA.
>Eris > Wiz > Chris
>Eris > Chris
Yeah, the other designs were pretty spot on (mostly just lacking details like the bits on Darkness' armor), but they really fucked up with Yunyun. If it was just one thing that was messed around with it would be tolerable, but it's a combination of the hair, face, and even her tits (strangely) that makes the design feel really off.
Not to mention her voice didn't really match up with my expectations. Hers is the only one I'm a bit iffy on, and the only one where I kind of prefer the Drama CD's voice. I mean it may just be that I need time to get used to it, and season 2 might improve my impression, but right now I'm can't help but feel a tad disappointed.
Depressed Yunyun is the best Yunyun!
What the fuck is with the lack of fun Yunyun illustrations in volume 9? Like I only spotted one in the spoilers and the rest were literally all Megumin (and a guest appearance of Aqua)
When the Eris-sama day starts, because it wouldn't be an Aqua day if you aren't jacking someone else's parade.
Yeah, but one is out-of-character and the other one, while in character, involves frog vore.
This one would involve Darkness's masochistic tendencies going out of control because Aqua made a bad decision.
>Aqua goes back to bathing, only to be surprised by the deliriously horny Darkness wanting to cum but at the same time reveling in the frustration of her orgasm denial.
Yeah, the voice really threw me off at first. I'd always imagined Yunyun as having a softer voice. Though it's still not as offputting as DEEN's horrific character design.
Also, why do they keep introducing side characters so suddenly? They did the same thing with Wiz. Skipping a character's introduction and then including them later by saying "oh yeah, we met this person in that part we didn't show you" is bullshit.
Well honestly I'd rather they pull a Wiz for her during an OVA then screw up her proper introduction in volume 3 which season 2 is supposed to start off with.
Though if they decide that they can skip her intro in season two just because they did this half-assed inclusion then seriously, fuck em.
Yeah, that is kind of that anon's complaint. Technically her introduction for anime only viewers is this OVA, which said "hey this is a person we recently met!" with no real intro into who they are or why they relate to the story.
Wiz' intro was seriously messed up since, to someone without knowledge of the novel's chronological order, she looked like a character shoved in solely to explain how Kazuma obtained the skill drain touch.
Can't see them skipping her intro. She shows up to save them when it becomes apparent that they can't even fight toads without Darkness in the party.
They'd only skip her intro if they skipped that part, which wouldn't make sense since it's a pretty important plot point.
Yeah, mood whiplash, pretty commonly used in comedic series that have hit or miss results. As clearly seen here, still I believe that people are taking it a tad too seriously. I seriously think it is only animeonly viewers, since I guess novel readers believe it is par for the course. But I haven't seen enough context around these posts to make that a solid conclusion yet.
That's what I hope is the case as well, however they also skipped stuff like Keele's dungeon and Wiz' introduction which everyone thought was an essential part of those volumes. Vanir's intro is going to be somewhat screwed up or appear random if they can't connect his presence with the Dullahan, Wiz, and the dungeon.
Toad slime, but it may as well be the same thing at this point as pic related suggests.
>her tits (strangely)
I'd say this is one of the biggest parts. The saggy tits look stupid on everyone, but Yunyun's breasts are so pronounced that they really stand out.
Honestly, I can see them skipping a whole bunch of plot points so that they can get to Village of the Crimson Magic.
It's just Megumin because of poor nutrition. The others are normal, Yunyun and Arue are stacked.
>tfw your loli imouto has bigger than you
Yeah, the tits on Wiz were already kind of ridiculous enough, but Yunyun's really stand out a tad too much to the point where I can't take them seriously. It also makes her clothing look really silly, which I never got that sort of impression of looking at the LN art.
And honestly I wouldn't be surprised if they did a "remember that time we ruined Darkness' marriage meeting?" in regards to volume 3 just to speed things along. Not exactly the biggest lost, but I just can't help but feel like they will take the route of least effort now that they know the series can be a hit with a low budget.
Probably some kind of weird heavenly incense that religious folk would say is super amazing, but it actually just smells like a disparate mixture of scents if you aren't drinking the kool-aid.
DEEN really shot themselves in the foot by not considering a S2. The Dust party trade, in addition to being a fucking amazing chapter, explained how he got farsight and that's vital to his dungeon exploring and thieving, which form the basis of entire volumes.
I want to rub and take whiffs of Wiz's thighs too.
Office jobs aren't as bad as they say right? Especially someone with no social life like me.
Depends on whether or not you get stuck doing customer service or not.
I won't say I'm not the best at that job, but I'm not allowed to go back to a few sections now because the directors don't like for me to tell them that the only real solution they have is to replace 12 and 13 year old computers because they died.
If they know they aren't going to do a S3 no matter what then I can't really blame them for wanting to adapt the best volume, but it was a big enough hit that they could probably pump out more, so skipping stuff doesn't make as much sense.
They're shit. Your coworkers will be loud and obnoxious and you'll be forced into human interaction at every turn.
I don't think it's been announced either way. It'd be great if it got 24, but I don't want to get my hopes up. If it did, I'm not sure whether I'd prefer them doing 6 episodes per volume or taking more time and covering some of the skipped content so things make more sense. Volume 5 is probably a better stopping place, but I really want to see that so that 10/10 castle break in with best girl animated.
Because the usual backlash against anything that gets somewhat popular, plus people assuming it is another SAO clone without bothering to watch it.
In terms of normalfag, some initial cries of sexism and such put some people off. But then a bunch of them actually bothered to watch it without preconceived opinions and found the complaints grossly exaggerated.
i'm just not a fan of the saggy tits yo, never will be
also give lalatina back her protective breastplate, out with the molded boob plate its such a tired trope
I don't think the people watching this illegally is high on their list of priorities.
She is briefly introduced, and the OVA isn't deeply ingrained in the main story, so you don't need any prior knowledge. Her interactions aren't confusing or super important.
>implying Asians don't pirate shit
Your point still doesn't stand since, objectively speaking, this is her first animated appearance, hence a non-informative introduction like this would serve to only confuse people who go by the animated material.
The fact it was bundled is a mute point, since those who were interested in the anime, and only in the anime, will seek it out regardless of where it came from. And they would be from a position of ignorance, that would, again, be messed around with by their odd decision.
We're not saying this in of itself is bad, just that it may have a bad result were they to flub Yunyun's proper introduction due to the existence of this OVA. After-all it wouldn't be the first time an anime introduced an important character with an OVA, then in the the next season assumed the audience already knew them because they also assumed the viewers saw that OVA.
>your premise is false
>just fanservice to LN readers
Nice arguments you got there, you sure showed that anon.
Saying what is essentially "I'm right you're wrong, deal with it" surely most have gotten you far in your life.
If the OVA were intenden to anime viewers, it would've been bundled with a BD or aired on TV. It hasn't.
Please watch more anime and don't talk about things you don't know shit about.
kazumegu is objectively the most canon and cutest
though that one part in volume 5 was really adorable and downright important for kazuma and aqua's relationship- where kazuma was nearly raped by orcs and after the girls very narrowly saved him he clung to aqua's lap and cried as she just rubbed his back without any snide comments or teasing or anything
Well whether or not it is canon is kind of a non-issue, since we can tell it doesn't have any relevance to the main story regardless of who it was written by.
Again, the issue is whether or not this will effect how the anime staff go about introducing Yunyun in season 2. I'm not saying its likely that they will mess with it just because they made the OVA, but it unfortunately wouldn't be the first time this occurred.
For one, once again you're ignoring the main point of the fact that IT DOESN't FUCKING MATTER whether or not it was bundled with the LN.
But sure, fuck it. Date A Live where the unaired episode 13 was bundled with the ninth volume of the LN. No relevance to the main story, but it did feature characters (namely the twins) in a brief scene that would have a proper intro in the following season.
Again you're missing the fucking point, but keep being pedantic, it's certainly working out fine for you clearly.
Oh wow, the "you should watch more anime" response, a classic. Good job anon. Really congrats, you certainly fit right in.
>Please watch more anime and don't talk about things you don't know shit about.
And surely you're in the position to speak to say that everyone who has watched this OVA are owners of the LN volume? Nice to see we have the local Kadokawa marketing rep here on /a/. Small world.
You're really fucking mad for some reason. Did it hurt your feelings that they wouldn't consider your secondary opinion when introducind a character everyone of the target audience already knows?
>If the OVA were intended to anime viewers, it would've been bundled with a BD or aired on TV.
>an original video animation specifically announced immediately after the anime aired and marketed heavily in all the anime social media accounts wasn't meant for the anime viewing audience.
Ain't no cops in fantasy australia.
No, I'm saying everyone that was intended to watch the OVA are owners of the LN.
Next you will complain because they didn't air the episodes with swahili subs, what would happen to all those africans who would happen to watch the episode.
Considering my main complaint is that I was afraid they would screw up the way volume 3 goes I honestly cannot fathom how you got secondary out of that. Excellent reading comprehension.
And reading my posts all I can see is a neutral discussion, maybe you should walk away from the keyboard for a moment and cool your head. You seem to be projecting a tad. All I did was share my thoughts, then you made a retarded response, which I replied with a somewhat condescending one.
Par for the course really.
Actually kind of true if you think about it. Apparently it's more of a local militia type of deal, and the police are nigh useless at enforcement. Makes sense since they can't really do shit with adventurers I suppose.
No shit (talk about stating the bloody obvious), but the fact that it was showcased on the anime specific media accounts shows they obviously wanted the anime viewers to buy the novel.
It's called an incentive anon, try looking it up sometime.
>Kazuma admits to shifting Megumin around when he carries her on his back so that he can feel her chest shifting around on his back
>mfw there's a fucking doujin about this very thing happening
I think that anons point was that they specifically wanted the anime only crowd to get that novel for the OVA? Since you know, the point of LN ads is for the anime only guys to buy the LN, which means they will make something the anime people want so that they would buy the novel.
Not to mention torrents and stuff exist too, so they would be aware of its existence and still watch it without reading the novels.
No, but this is. It's from their first night together. Shortly after this Kazuma had the hardest orgasm of his life.
Yes, which would be what I was talking about, since my point was that they were actively trying to get anime viewers to also become novel readers. But I have to state again that this whole disagreement (which is still kind of silly in my opinion), wasn't even the main point of the argument. I wasn't even talking about this for the sake of anime-only viewers really, more on the lines of how they would adapt things in the next season.
Another anon (or several who knows) clung to the "bundled with LN" point which brought about this string of wasted posts.
Considering how the series is, I wouldn't be surprised if the author browses the doujin lineup every now and then. Would probably make for great inspiration.
I think I recall seeing that image in a person's pixiv. An original piece of art if I recall, so it's not even Megumin. Though honestly it isn't that far off from her WN depiction, just needs straight hair and a different outfit.
>I think I recall seeing that image in a person's pixiv. An original piece of art if I recall, so it's not even Megumin. Though honestly it isn't that far off from her WN depiction, just needs straight hair and a different outfit.
Fuck ignore this reply, I thought you guys were talking about this >>143360655
post. Probably should have checked the reply chain properly.
>None of the characters look the same if you're going to compare to the LN designs.
>The other characters, while somewhat different from their LN counterparts, where still easily recognizable.
Learn to read retard
In Volume 8 she
confesses to him, he confesses back, she invites him to view fireworks and go home together after, he outright states that he's on the Megumin route when Darkness comes onto him, she gets jealous when she hears about it, and the cliffhanger ending is her whispering that she wants to give him his birthday present in private later.
Volume 5 really pushes it, while in volume 6 you can see Megumin outwardly getting annoyed at him interacting with other girls (or rather just Iris). Bit less in volume 7 and 8 but it is still there.
Apparently volume 9 really pushes it hard, but I'm only going off illustrations and small spoilers a the moment.
I recall a previous thread or two where one guy (or more, I honestly couldn't tell) kept going on how it was fucked up his friends killed him (or MURDERED as they said). Really quite silly since it was obviously a lead up for the final Eris punchline.
Not that anon, but that doesn't exactly invalidate their point in anyway. And yeah, the anime industry does pay a lot of attention to pirates of anime. Where the hell have you been these last few years?
How are Megumin and Yunyun, and other crimson demons names "weird"? They don't sound weird, like if an asian person told me either of those were their name, I wouldn't be suspicious or anything.
It actually is a plot point. It's causing Eris to have to do a lot of work, it causes him to become even more against adventuring, and it results in
Megumin playing with his Excalibur.
Damegami already has
a childwith Vanir.
Pretty sure this anon is messing with you. Half that stuff didn't happen.
Who the fuck ever said anything about catering to pirates? The whole bloody thing was confusion on the viewer side, slash issues on what they may prioritize with the second season. You're seriously just pulling points out of your ass at this point.
Megumin is not a name you regularly encounter, in fact almost no japanese names end on an n sound. It's more like a cute way of referring to someone. (Megumi->Megumin, Okabe->Okarin). It's a nickname. not a name.
Yunyun is just the same sound repeated twice. Also very unlikely to occur in an actual name.
Yeah but you're talking about it from the perspective of someone not from Asia (I presume).
As somebody who is from Asia (though not anywhere close to Japan) hearing the name Megumin would be weird. Like we're used to hearing names like Megumi, and while Megumin is just a letter away, it is enough of a deviation to the standard names that we would find it odd. I imagine that would also be the case with anybody from Japan obviously.
Though also remember that Kazuma's name is considered strange in that world too. So it may also just be Japanese names in general.
THEIR NAMES ARE PERFECTLY FINE.
EVERYONE ELSE HAS DUMB ONES
Everyone in Fantasy Australia has english names, what the fuck
But nobody said anything about caring about what the pirates would be confused about? The discussion seemed to be initially about how the OVA may affect how they animate things in the second season (from what I can gather reading the previous posts).
Seeing as to other anons specifically used the example of Wiz and Keele in those posts, it seems like you completely misinterpreted the premise of the discussion frankly. My reading of it is just the classic fear that the anime staff (namely the fact that it's DEEN we're talking about) would chop stuff out and use the OVA as an excuse in order to rush towards volume 5.
At least that's what I can see from the posts, no idea of actual intent but honestly I think you just misunderstood what those anons were trying to focus on.
Well volume 8 had some nice moments between him and Aqua, though they are back to beating and blaming each other by the end of it. Still, it was pretty nice to see, and the bro moments will probably continue. Unless that fucking chick sucks up all her time.
It's too late for that, Eris-sama is already his best bro. Aqua is basically the brain damaged child who he has to take care of and causes nothing but trouble.
The only times they get along are when they both go full hikkiNEET and have to fight against the others trying to make them go outside and do things.
Fresh off the meme presses. Throw away your old Ryokos, we got the new model in!
>but i'm only going off illustrations
god i hope they aren't jerking our chains with that one specific illustration, waffling around with silly shipteasing antics for 8 volumes has been absolute torture
Huh, I was under the impression that there are actually a lot of Japanese names that end with "n" though? Because it is the only consonant they use to end a word with, the rest ending with vowel sounds.
If I recall correctly (I might be misremembering here) most of the names that end with an "n" are male. For some reason.
It wouldn't be the first time they fucked with us, but from the site that posted those images it seems to be mostly revolving around Megumin.
>The only times they get along are when they both go full hikkiNEET and have to fight against the others trying to make them go outside and do things.
That's brotherhood. They feel like way more fun bros. A bro isn't someone you always tolerate or don't fight with either. Eris is more like your typical nice heroine.
>accidently posted before I finished
Though in that specific illustration I think you're talking about (the one of them in bed?) some anon translated.
It was an Aqua cock-block moment.
Eh, I thought she had a pretty fun dynamic with Kazuma in volume 8 personally. Though to be fair she is also technically supposed to be the vanilla "main heroine" type, at least going by Kazuma's view of her. Which I suppose is the point since she is meant to contrast with the inane nature of the party.
This one here?
The roses make it seem like it could just be in Kazuma's head.
That bird is better off as mana fuel and you know it. It's attachment to Devil kind shows that it is fated to be fried to a crisp, as a heretic should be.
Kind of hard to sort out the foreign ones from the Japanese ones, but I see your point anon.
Though there are still names like Jun and Shin (admittedly those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head) that are pretty common that end with an "n". Still they are obviously a big minority.
Okay, I'm actually in a rare position to question whether or not this is fanart. Just because it seems like something would seriously do in the story.
Well the problem is that it is night time, and for some reason Megumin is not in her casual sleep wear. Now unless this is occurring during a different moment where they are sleeping with each other in the novel, along with the roses, I'm leaning a lot towards a delusion personally.
Anon saying that thing is a dragon is like saying that Aqua is a useful goddess. Filled to the brim with magical power or not. In the end it is still just a flightless bird, meant for a quick meal.
Behold it's end goal in life as displayed by the example of a fish.
Yeah, and Chomesuke is just an ordinary cat destined to be dinner for a hungry loli.
Emperor Zell will turn out to be an actual dragon. It has to because it would be way more entertaining that way.
>Yeah, and Chomesuke is just an ordinary cat destined to be dinner for a hungry loli.
I mean you can't really deny otherwise anon. It would have been long gone were it not for Megumin protecting it from that monster.
As for the bird, I would love to see a moment where Aqua was right and the thing roasts a greater demon or something. But as of right now I will still consider it a gag at her expense as a waste of money.
Though if it does turn into a dragon that'd be pretty fucking awesome I'll admit.
Read volume 6, while I wouldn't say "bad-ass" it was pretty impressive considering his usual performances. Hope for a repeat sometime soon.
Still mad they changed the hair color of megumin and yunyun. (Who wants brown hair anyway. Black hair is so much better)
Close enough. He's not the strongest but he knows how to use what he has to get things done.
Drain touch is not something a 'weakest job' should have.
I believe the joke is that everything else she does outweigh those two benefits. Since she tends to brag after each resurrection, or she ruins the mood whenever she uses her curse breaking.
The first volume didn't include the phrase "Useless Goddess" for no reason you know.
So yeah while she isn't actually completely useless, the whole basis on her and Kazuma's dynamic is her trying to prove she is useful (and usually failing) and him complaining about how he should have gotten a better "thing" as a cheat. Though at this point honestly the whole "useless" thing is almost endearing considering how they are.
Now that I think about it, I wonder if he can learn any of Vanir's techniques? I assume he can't learn stuff like the death ray since it a normal human probably doesn't have enough mana to use it. But I'm sure a Devil should have some interesting basic skills he could nab.
the creator of the crimson demons was a reincarnator from japan
he called the crimson demons by childish nicknames
that's why all of the crimson demons have weird names
Aqua's powers are actually really good and the reason they're able to take on so many demon king army bosses, but she's still useless because her personality causes her to create more trouble than she could ever solve.
Kazuma can learn any technique that exists, even if he wouldn't be able to actually use it. He already said he kind of wants to learn Explosion at some point.
>Kazuma can learn any technique that exists, even if he wouldn't be able to actually use it. He already said he kind of wants to learn Explosion at some point.
Everyone can learn any skill, just a matter of being able to properly use it. It's not some special trait Kazuma has, it's just how their world works.
Only adventurer class can learn any skill, but outside basic skills the point cost skyrockets.
That's why is the begginer class where you learn the basics of your desired job until you get the stats for it.
Instead, Kazuma aims to be a Super Novice.
Otherwise Chris as a Thief wouldn't have complained about being jealous of Kazuma's learning Farsight, an Archer's skill.
Kazuma is only special because his job is Adventurer, a garbage class that is only useful because it can learn any skill.
No it's not how the world works though. Arch Wizards can only learn mage skills, or stat refinements. They can't borrow shit a crusader can do, nor vice versa.
The only person who can do that is Kazuma, and that is only because he has the "weakest" class Adventurer. Which is considered useless due to it's low stats, and the fact that the costs to learn skills are several times more than what a normal class would require for them.
So for Explosion which requires 50 (iirc), would need 100 skill points for him. Which would literally take years (at least it did for Yunyun, and she was much more skilled than Kazuma).
>Everyone can learn any skill,
But that's wrong.
And Kazuma is rich enough to buy a shitton of skill up potions and manatite (which he already has) and cast whatever the fuck he wants.
She's a lich, even if others had the adventurer class that can learn any skill, the chances of finding a friendly lich who would be willing to teach you them (basic skills or not), is ridiculously low.
Not to mention a lot of people wouldn't take kindly to the idea of using the skills of an undead. Which is why Kazuma doesn't tell people that he uses it outside of his own party.
One thing that's been bothering me.
The world of Konosuba is semi-medieval. Swords, sorcery, that crap. It's an alternate world, obviously. Hell, Kazuma says that his track suit is the sole reminder of his former life.
So how the fuck did Kazuma get a Japanese gym uniform for Megumin to wear?
my body is ready
this show could not get any better
That's just his ridiculous luck.
>Wiz is friendly. But was only exposed as a lich because of aqua.
>Keeble only met him because of aqua's aura.
>You. Have. No. Friends.
Maybe that's too much.
It would be kinda funny if they flip Bierce's concept of a lich as having possibly been friendly in life but changed to evil by death, and Wiz turns out to have been a Bathory-tier evil witch in life.
have some megumi
The best doujin so far was vanilla Aqua
>I'm just happy to be connected to you Kazuma
Well she fought the Demon King as an archwizard powerful enough to make their bosses fear her and Keele only turned into a lich to protect his waifu, so I'd say they'll probably play it straight and just have them be outliers.
I've read all of them and I need moar
Is this the only vanilla aqua x kazuma? But nevertheless this is pretty good. Any other good aqua x kazuma I'd be really happy to fa- I mean read.
Hopefully when S2 comes out the comic artist will make more of them.
I don't know how many of them you have but this is where I got mine -
Well, it's not my screenshot.
Since the OVA was so great I wouldn't mind if they had more anime original content/episodes. It's even better than the source material.
>It's even better than the source material
No. And they can't even fit all of the source material in, why would you make more content when you aren't even using what you already have?
This is news to me, this shit is canon? They really murdered Kazuma? That's some dark shit right there. When they threatened to have Megumin explode him and then have Aqua revive him in the LN I thought they were being facetious.
depends on the translation
1. a kind of demon, devil, evil spirit, evil influence, evil power or ability
2. magic power
3. familiar spirit, as in a witch's familiar
I can't decide whether this webm is more funny with the subtitles or whether you should fill in the blanks for what's being said.
Aqua's fuckups only convert into good luck because of Kazuma.
Without Kazuma you have shit like this.
I consider myself a pretty relaxed guy. I'm not a prude. But this was just offensive. Megumin slapping Yunyun's breasts, Kazuma telling Darkness she was nothing but boobs. The humor is either too vulgar (the former) or too mean-spirited (the latter) to enjoy. I walked away feeling distinctly uncomfortable.
You mean this one over here: >>143371354
Besides, I don't really know what the right order is for the rest of the pages.
>Yunyun has a badass scene
>Toyosaki activates her Medaka voice
> She uses Explosion magic once a day, after that she becomes unable to move. Seriously useless
> More useful than Aqua
> Megumax will never snap into your Slim Jim ;_;
Does Kazuma have that curse where he is incapable of seeing Aqua as sexual?
Aqua's so retarded that it's impossible for Kazuma to lust for her. They have more of a sibling thing whereas Megumin and Darkness are potential love interests (leaning towards Megumin).
While it's true Megumin confesses in a roundabout way to Kazuma, he never replies back with anything. Furthermore Darkness has also confessed in a round about way. Kazuma figured out both to be confessions and then chose in vol.8 to persut the path of the dense harem protagonist; he's triggered the flags for darkness and megumin, so he wants to take a "heat check" and see if it's the "summer of his popularity" and by playing the dense protag see if the harem expands.
Seriously. That's his plan right now. He even told this to Chris/Eris, to which Eris told him he was going to be killed.
Kazuma really is a man with refined taste
Didn't he die more times?
First he got killed by the yeti think,
He broke his neck falling from a tree,
He got digested by the hydra,
And he died to goblins attacking the capital.
And now he also died in the OVA.
During Volume 6 (Season 3 unless Season 2 is 2 Cour), Kazuma
finds out that she might be in danger due to a body-swapping artifact, so he breaks into the royal palace and proceeds to utterly crush the entire force of Royal Knights when they tried to get in his way. Mitsurugi (special snowflake blonde swordsman who got a legendary sword from Aqua) tries to stop him and Kazuma fights him, without using "Steal" this time. He shot an ice spell and tricked Mitsurugi into thinking it missed, when it actually froze his sword to its sheath. Then Kazuma shot water magic point blank into Mitsurugi's mouth and nose, drowning him, then swapped to ice magic and froze it all while it was traveling down his throat. Then while one of the Royal Magicians tried to attack him while he was running by, he sniped her wand out of her hand mid-sprint and she nearly pissed herself.
He finally reaches his little sister, Iris's room, but left over pursuers have almost reached him, so he uses "Steal" then jumps out the window and runs away. However, it turns out that he didn't actually steal the artifact. Instead, he stole Iris's ring which had special meaning. Since Iris is royalty, she's supposed to give that ring to her husband when she gets married, but Kazuma stole it.
The next day he goes back to the Royal Palace (this time not disguised). She realized that he was the one who snuck in, and defended the "thief" from everyone else. Other stuff happens, with the result of her giving him her blessing in defeating the Demon King and he accepts her blessing. (The one who defeats the Demon King will most likely end up marrying her in order to strengthen the Royal Bloodline).
>shot water magic point blank into Mitsurugi's mouth and nose, drowning him, then swapped to ice magic and froze it all while it was traveling down his throat.
Jesus Christ, how horrifying. Even Aqua is going to have trouble fixing that.
Anyone else thinks it's really cute when an animu girl messes herself up with tears and a dripping nose?
Three days late on that news.
He stole one from another guy, like the scumbag he is. Her real older brother tossed her aside because he's the oldest child so he's going to inherit the throne and they haven't spoken in years. She's been lonely since then until Kazuma came along.
I talked with my ROTC friend whose buddy buddy with a few people in the U.S Army. 2 Cour's and three OVA's.
I spy a crossboarding janitor.
Okay, I was ready. No problem. Be courageous!
From today on, I would be a normie!!
“About that… Megumin, I’m very happy about your feelings.
Actually, I’m also…”
“What happened to you? What are you being annoyed
Since I started carrying her on my back, Megumin was
grumbling non-stop like a dense protagonist.
I didn’t actually think much of Megumin, so even if I was
interrupted, it was fine.
Right. Her looks were not bad, but she was a weirdo who only
knew explosions and more explosions.
Kazuma a dumb big ole tsundere
Look, you can have your opinions about girls but calling Megumin shit is just plain rude.
We all know that Aqua is the only shit girl.
Yes, but then he'd have boobs that want him to abuse her and in-laws who hate him because he's not noble-born.
If he marries the chunni then no one will care and he can still abuse boobs.
Maybe her avatar has high luck, but lower than his.
While Eris proper has like 999 Luck.
He does respond back and it's pretty clear that he's looking forward to a relationship with her, she just keeps undermining his expectations, like everything else in that world, with Eh Nandatte and explosions. She could have won already, but she and Kazuma are both cowards who can't say things clearly.
All that disappointment has reminded Kazuma how horrible all of the girls' personalities are so he wants to wait for a good one instead of risking it with Megumin or Darkness. Which is probably another reason why he says the only one he loves is Eris-sama.
Megumin is 14 now. He specifically held off pursuing her until her birthday because 13 year olds weren't in his strike zone. To him, little girls are for imoutos not for sexual.
tossed her aside
He's been off fighting the Demon King Army with the King. He's not a bad person, he's just busy. Considering how real the threat is in the capital, what he's doing is necessary to protect her.
Kazuma is more of a dick for promising to defeat the Demon King and then immediately deciding that he has no intention of fighting because he's rich now. Fucking hikkiNEET.
Her avatar beat him in rock paper scissors, something no one else has ever been able to do. And they're both confident that she would win again if they had a rematch.
It's not a matter of principles, he doesn't want to date someone that young because he doesn't want people to think badly of him. In the eyes of society, there is a big difference between a 13 years 11 month year old and one that has just hit marriageable age.
Beaten to death, most likely. Aqua has no skills that work on humans, Megumin can't use explosion in an enclosed space, Darkness can't hit anything with a weapon, and Wiz and Yunyun are too nice to actually kill him.
Jesus Chris this OVA was so fucking ridiculous. But great.
Naw, it had to have been deflected by the towel he was wearing. If she had consumed such fluids, it would have triggered a flag for her having a positive reaction to his confession about using a high level groping technique on her.
Although if Darkness had licked it off the ground like a dirty mongrel, that would explain how his debasement went too far even for her masochism.
