Don't worry, they're going to redraw ALL the scenes so it'll be consistent.

I did the main OVA in three weeks and now I'm on to the gaiden. It was brutal. Mittermeyer and Kircheis are top tier husbandos.

I can't wait for LOGH 2017 - shitstorms over the character designs, over the cast, over no Dusty, over every minor change. It's going to be a fantastic ride.

It was great. But I got too butthurt over the consistent take overs of Iserlohn. That is the equivalent of the Rebels hijacking the Death Star and detonating Coruscant.

There's nothing like TV in LOTGH, they used telegrams IIRC. And hell in a New Hope instead of emailing the Death Star plans to Yavin, Leia had to take them in a ship.

But, if you assume changes like that, it changes the whole fundamentals of the series.

Why was it important to keep the Death Star plans secret? Only the Empire had the resources to build one. If you copy the plans ad nauseum and distribute it everywhere, it'll find its way to the Alliance command. No need to lead the Death Star right to Yavin and expose the base's location.

Gundam got around the problem with Minovsky Particles. There's nothing similar in LOTGH to my knowledge.

Yes. Based on how difficult that is already on planet Earth, I can imagine it would only become more difficult between planets.

Also, maybe they just have the same thing in Star Wars that they had in LotGH, devices that easily interfere with such communication which make it obsolete.

Not really, the only great one they lost was Reuental. Sieg was lost before even Reinhard was emperor. Lutz fell for a cheap trick and lost Iserlohn, probably the biggest blunder ever out of all admirals on the Empire's side. Kempf and Seinmetz were below average, nothing worth noting about them. Lennekampf was pretty much set up for failure by Reinhard himself. Fahrenheit's spirit lives on with Bittenfeld. Did I forget anyone?

The only truly irreplaceable loss was Obertstein, actually.
