Looks like Yuya has...
>Puts on sunglasses
Man this Sunday's episode will be hype as fuck with Joeri killing some generic students, Yugo coming back, some Yoko flashbacks, Yusho explaining what the the fuck happened three years ago, the truth about Academia's attacks, Akaba Leo talking and finally, Reiji coming back AND THE FUCKING TWINS. This will be THE episode.
He will return, and all unbelievers will behold his superior dueling strategies and despair!
IT'S NOT A MONSTER, BUT A GOD
Jobber Red! The passionate one.
Jobber Blue! The cool one.
Jobber Green! The smart one.
Jobber Black! The mysterious one.
Jobber Pink! The girl.
Together they are... Jobber Rangers!
The same anon from before or is this an epidemic?
This nigga needs a hug
So is Asuka dueling Joeri or what
Is Yami Bakura in the film? I mean I'm not expecting it because of the whole dead but it seems weird the final boss of the series wouldn't even have a small cameo or something.
Hey, wait. If what they revealed about Academia is true, what does this mean for Sora? Does he even have parents?
And how come a child his age is in what we can assumed to be a high school (since that was what it was in GX)?
Or is he MUCH MORE older than he looks?
Best boy, please come back.
Didn't the kid who Yuzu talked with mention wanting to go to Academia after graduating from elementary school? Pretty sure that means that Academia isn't high school only.
But I do share your sentiment about wanting the best boy to come back.
>killed the father of Aigami and messed up his brain with Millenium Items
>killed a curator and almost killed Yugi and his friends
>lied to Marik and said that the Pharaoh's Spirit killed his father
>stuck the Millenium eye in Pegasus to give him false hope that he would be with his wife if he remade the shadow games into a card game
Who was the true Antagonist of DM again?
Shadi seemed to have been going around messing up people's lives for no reason only for things to sort themselves out in the end
Bakura said that his father got the Ring for him from Egypt.
Kaz never mentioned that his father died and Yami Bakura killed a bunch of orphans and made regular Bakura forget it ;)
Maybe it's something like
>Theif King Bakura killed the original Shadi 5000 years back
>he reincarnated with the Millenium Items
>Yami Bakura killed him again and this time he just stayed as a spirit guarding the items instead of reincarnating again
Could be possible since Atem reincarnated into Yugi, Seto reincarnated to Kaiba, Shiamun reincarnated to Yugi's grandpa and Isis reincarnated into Ishizu
Speaking of which, what the hell happened to Mana, Karim and Shada?
I know Mahad became the Dark Magician and Kisara is the Blue-eyes White Dragon but they all died normally so they should reincarnate shouldn't they?
short version: shadi was some bullshit ex machina
long version: he was a shapeshifting spirit serving the pharaoh over thousands of years, taking whatever form is needed depending on the situation.
oh, and he can go back in time too via the puzzle.
At this point any deeper speculation would just go into fanfic levels, so who knows. Either he went/got sent there or maybe they had kids other than Serena there for pretty much all of their lives. Or just plain memory manipulation shenanigans, though I hope that's not the case.
>know that it's pyramid shaped
>Yugi got it from his grandpa when he was 8 and the only thing on the box was "Whoever solves me will gain my dark knowledge and understanding"
Right, I'm totally sure an 8 year old boy could solve a 3000 year old millenium artifact which belonged to a dead Pharaoh with no hints prior by himself.
Kaiba had it easy since he scanned the full puzzle and just copy pasted it
The reason why it took Yugi that long was because the puzzle probably decided he wasn't ready to solve it yet. The puzzle chose who would solve it which is why it was impossible for anyone else but Yugi to solve it. He was destined to. However, that was because of Atem's spirit inside there. Since it's no longer in the puzzle it's just a nice piece of jewelry that anyone can solve. Kaiba is just using his technology to solve it because why the fuck not.
Let's say the goal is for Yuya to be able to summon Odd Eyes Rebellion Dragon without relying on Yuto's dragon. He already has a magician to act as his second dragon for the overlay material but what about xyz material?
Not really any new stuff aside from Yuri getting ready to 5OTK some characters nobody will care about.
Everybody here has read the spoilers so we can talk about the movie as freely as we please
>yuri has clear wing
>yugo's already been nommed
>Yugo and yuri keep arguing and trying to control the body
>yusho jobbers look on in confusion
id watch that
what about this guy? His only crime was pursuing his passion and feeling shitty about not being there for his family.
I remember reading the early manga chapters back in the day when Shonen Jump was released in stores in America. It was crazy to see all the games Yugi made people play like the scorpion in the shoe one. They used to give out cards in the book too. I'd go to the store and open all the Shonen Jumps and take the cards. I had a shitload of alt art Blue-Eyes and Red-Eyes.
You couldn't make a more generic batch of jobbers than these 5 fucks. Yuri will probably card 4 of them off-screen and the last one will be begging for mercy before he gets his LP demolished.
I have a whole box of old shonen jumps. most of them are water damaged from an incident, but still readable.
Of course, I later learned about how badly viz censored shit, but it was still my introduction to manga.
>Yurifags are this delusional
I guess they can't accept that Yuya is the main character, therefore he is the center of the Yuus.
Who absorbed Yuto?
Who created new cards?
Who upgraded the DRAGONS?
Who has a different Berserk mode?
Who is around for each HITOTSU-NI moment?
Yuya. Therefore, he will eventually get Clear/Crystal Wing and Starve Venom, not Yuri.
It's going to be a real waste if Yuri has to use Starve Venom's first duel on these scrubs. I hope he has other Fusion monsters to beat them. Predator Plants should have relied on burn and effect stealing/attack gain through eating other monsters instead of a shitty counter system.
oh wow a 5 v 1 how could Yuri possibly get out of this one
I was subbed for around 3 years, then I tried buying them every month until they stopped doing paper copies. by that point though I was fully into direct translations rather than the viz bastardizations.
>post yfw they set up the duel, cut away to another scene, and cut back to starve venom attacking and blowing all their aces away, leading to them being carded, and still leaving SVFD's effect a mystery to them
Academia has better looking jobbers than any other dimension.
I stopped when I got into subbed anime. I don't even know when they stopped doing physical copies. Then I got back into manga when I finished the original Nardo and Shippuden hadn't even started in Japan yet so I had to read the manga to continue. It was hilarious seeing the 4kids adaption of One Piece on TV while having the manga on hand. The changes were ridiculous.
>he calls this plan...
>"STARVE VENOM FUSION DORAGON...."
>the Arc Area Project
>*starve venom blasting them away*
>Yuzu and Asuka looking horrified
>the mooks fall to the ground as cards, with a grinning/laughing yuri behind them
>cut to a background image of the professor
>then the credits
I remember when naruto and one piece first started airing, and the manga tried so hard to show off how awesome the anime and manga were.
...then I saw helmeppo with a hammer gun. and christ, that fucking opening theme.
>He's an iceberg
I don't understand that edit at all. What was the point? I would pay for interviews with the 4kids staff to see what was going through their heads on a lot of their edits.
Tried drawing OEPD without reference, how shit is it?
Fuck those feet and arms. I apologize for how QUALITY it is, but I'm only a beginner drawfag and this only took about 5 minutes.
These two are more useful for fapping to the filthy slut known as Rin.
You are vision I've always pictured.
Except only you are complaining. No one was discussing Naruto. We were reminiscing about Shonen Jump as a whole after branching off from talking about Yugioh. You replied to a nearly 30 minute old post.
>Thread was fine all through last night and all through the morning
>Talked about all types of shit with no bashing and discussed characters
>No waifufags in sight
>No copypasta in sight
>Now spergs are here complaining
Guess I'll be here in the late hours/early mornings mostly
The threads are the best when Americans are asleep.
Because it's a fan translation, given all the work they put into it I'd say they're entitled to add a few memes and jokes. Like Masumi saying she wants to marry Marco-sensei, which isn't in the original.
Why couldn't this badass be the one to fuck Aigami in the ass?
He's just as lame but with an actual win record.
>Its a shitposter triggering shonenfags episode
More than Shinji, Kaito, and Edo can REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYKPdNvH800
Not that guy, but it's more than a little frustrating to get through basically any GX character's story to begin with (except Judai because M-HEROs are OP). I don't need Misawa going "YOU ARE RAPING ME" when he starts losing.
On that note, how the hell am I actually meant to accomplish anything with Asuka? Her AI is even more retarded than Jack's is.
>Put Senju and Manju in her deck
>She had 3 Sonic Bird and she actually really needs it because really bad problems with keeping Ritual Spells around so I keep 'em in.
>No matter how many ritual monsters she has in her hand, she will ALWAYS search another one, even if she has no Spell to summon it with.
>She always summons the wrong one for the wrong situation.
>Never ever summons the Lv 8 ever.
At least she doesn't have that stupid habit of tributing my shit for her shit that plagues 80% of Tag Force AIs.
>except Judai because M-HEROs are OP
You tell me, Judai can win any Tag Duel without me. I don't even need to do anything, i pass my turn and call 5 heros and rapes the opponent, its amazing how OP he is
>Also the chsracters swear a lot
I hate it when fan translators do that, the Japanese don't have swear words.
Also, let me guess, there's CARD GAMES ON MOTORCYCLES in the 5Ds story mode
>useless and annoying flat-chested lolis
I can't fap to this,
I did Jack and Crow's stories way back when it was first translated and don't remember any lines like that. Then again I can't even remember if the story itself was translated back then or just the duel text for them. The translations seemed serious back then. Either they stopped trying or someone who doesn't know Japanese took over and just dubbed it up
The Infernoid player doesn't even have translated dialogue; they just filled his lines with edgy bullshit like "I'M GOING TO FUCK YOU IN THE ASS" or "MOTHERFUCKER YOU DAMAGED ME". It's like reading rejected lines from DMC's script.
Most of the other stuff is pretty non-intrusive except for the aforementioned Abridged memes (I would've tolerated one or two but they pretty much ripped every single one they could). In many parts it feels like they didn't translate anything and just slapped stuff in because it sounded alright.
One I did find genuinely funny, though, is Amon's defeat quote.
>First I die vaguely in the middle of Season 3, and now this!
But basically, there's so many memes that I'm not even confident that it's a translation so much as some people with coding know-how dicking around in a YGO game.
Xeno Translations was taking the project relatively seriously, but was only handling the duel text for voiced characters, card text, menus, and a few other odds and ends.
The current translation is due to a secondary group taking the patched file and editing over the story text and the remaining duel text. It's not the same people at all.
When do I get a cameo REEEEEEEEEEEEEE
THIS ISN'T THE YOSHIDA I KNOW
That explains it. I put the newer version on my PSP last week but never played it. Will probably delete it and put the old version back on. The game is already incredibly outdated though. It was outdated when it came out tbqh.
That was just the artist deciding he was tired of drawing Kyoji, who was intented to be the final villain, so he just drew whatever the fuck he
wanted and Yoshida went along with it.
The one on the right looks like a woman, especially the legs
They saved him with his badass card art.
ALL HAIL VENUS FLYTRAP DRAGON
I bet they are too scared of coming here. I know i was when i was 17. I thought this place was full of Deep Web stuff and thats why i never wanted to come here, Now i'am here everyday
ITS LIKE ME
YU GO WHERE?
SWING INTO ACTION
Couldn't find it, have another qt Starve Venom instead.
>Yugo appears by crashing his D-Wheel
I'm actually curious as to how they're going to explain the counterparts thing in the manga.
Does Manga Yuya just have an extreme case of multiple personality disorder? Who knows!
>Those personality swaps change the entire deck.
Huh... I wonder if the other Yus are tied to Yuya's pendulum in the manga?
Like, he's not crazy and they're not separate people, but different personas of him created by pendulum magic? Each one of them representing a different aspect of Yuya's core personality.
Ignorable compared to the extreme disappointment she'll feel when he opens his mouth.
>and I'm really reluctant to read these ugly Mangafox scans
Beggars can't be choosers.
Yugioh manga has the worst scans ever so if you want it high quality, buy the manga yourself.
It's actually pretty decent for the most part.
I hope Yuya gets new hybrid Pendulums that are released in special packs or as promos. Xyz Yuya Monster based off of Destruction/Creation Magician along with an Xyz Pendulum evolution of it, a Synchro Pendulum of OEPD+CWSD and a (2nd) Fusion Pendulum of OEPD+SVFD. The first Fusion Pendulum that'd be a booster cover card would then hopefully be a Fusion of Stargazer (Rune-Eyes) and EM (Beast-Eyes).
You see, all of Yuya's Extra Deck Monsters are evolutions of his Pendulum Monsters, one representative for each summoning method except Fusion: Timegazer - Synchro, Stargazer & EM, (and OEPD) - Fusion, OEPD - Xyz. Excluding OEPD, I imagine that there's 2 Yuya reps in Fusion and currently no reps in Xyz because they couldn't fit them any other way (IF Yuya's Xyz ends up being Creation/Destruction Magician) because there's no Ritual Dimension nor Yuya Ritual Monsters. If there was, then either EM or Stargazer upgrade would have been a Ritual and the other a Fusion. Anyways, if Komoney changes their mind and they do ever make a Yuya Ritual Monster it'd probably be an evolution of either EM Or Stargazer or even one of the Creation/Destruction, and a possible Ritual Pendulum would be an evolution of that in which case the 2nd Xyz Pendulum would be either Creation or Destruction, and the (1st) Fusion Pendulum would still be EM+Stargazer because they both have Fusion upgrades.
...fuck I'll try to make it simpler next time
>Yugioh manga has the worst scans ever so if you want it high quality, buy the manga yourself.
I'll probably have to eventually. Maybe I can take it slow and buy a volume a week.
>You're collecting these super powerful ancient artifacts that mindfuck people?
You need to understand the context.
Marik and Bakura just met each other and as a tombkeeper, he thinks that it's strange that an outsider like him knows about the items since they're meant to be kept a secret.
After Marik threatens to mind control Bakura with the rod, he decides to team up with him.
Bakura will win Slifer from Yugi in exchange for the Millennium Rod from Bakura.
Im gunna over accel synchro that nanner
Ts422 makes the beat lewds
Also best girl does lewd things with the duel school
AHA! I thought her yuzus were unusually more perky than the other Ruris
Rin is a pure maiden, though.
>Panther Dancer is a $4.60 card
The fuck is wrong with people? Are they thinking that just because Jeff Jones made PKSR good that any anime deck can magically become amazing overnight?
Did K-Money hit the furry crowd or something? I just want to complete my crude strong girl deck collection.
Won't happen. Yuzu already might as well just be some shitty fujo that just happens to look like Yuzu, so actually developing their relationship like in the anime isn't gonna happen.
How many episodes do we have left?
If we have like 150, at the rate we're going they could pull a 5ds and reveal that the ritual dimension is worse than the fusion dimension like they did when they showed that the Arc Cradle is still there after they beat Aporia
Current estimates project us to have anywhere from 50 to 80 episodes left. I doubt it'll get higher than 160, but we could potentially go to 200 depending on how Kamishiro played his cards with Konami's bean counters.
I'd be willing to forgive the QUALITY if they, say, blew the entirety of Arc-V's budget on the first and last arcs of the series.
October set is a Yuya card
January 2017 is probably Strave Venom upgrade
April 2017 will be the new protagonist's card along with summon method and Yuya's Fusion Pendulum.
I wonder what the next method will be.
October will be Fusion Pendulum. You're insane if you think we're spending more than 20 episodes in the nothingness of Heartland. I mean we already have Academia episodes mixed in within the 20 episodes this arc will last. I think we'll be back in Standard for the final arc (~10 episodes). By October, the Fusion Pendulum will have been released against Edo or Yuri
"I'll go first"
"That allows me to play this card"
Oh, and the proper Academia arc will be ~20 episodes long too, given that there's not much to do there either other than hide in Yusho Duel School or fight Academia head on and we've already been introduced to this dimension.
Chaos Summoning - Banish monsters from your Graveyard and they'll count towards summoning these Chaos Monsters from the Extra Deck (that's been expanded to 20 cards). Their Materials need to match with their stars which are called Orders and begin in the center (rather than to the right like Levels or to the left like Ranks). Ritual/Fusion/Synchro/Xyz Materials are worth 2 Orders each and Normal/Normal Effect Materials are worth 1 Order each and Pendulums are worth 1 or 2 Orders (player chooses). Chaos Monster cards are colored red.
Thank you for considering this idea, Konami!
BULL SHIT. Yuya still needs his own xyz otherwise he cannot summon Odd Eyes Rebellion Dragon without it's Overlord Howling effect, I mean, he can summon it normally now thanks to that magician but you're an idiot if you think they'll leave it at that. October will be a Yuya xyz that probably has the ability to go into Rebellion Dragon and some other burn type ability of it's own.
>Synchro decks get completely fucked by the limit while XYZ and Fusion get all the room that they need for their easy outs.
Why? I don't understand what about Synchro would make it that way.
Never not going to post it.
By far my favorite comic.
Out of all the early era starter decks, Yugi's the weakest.
Yugi's starter deck can beat meta decks though, in about 1 out of 100 duels.
Synchro need too many cards to make their big monsters (minimum 4 for Quasar, and at least 2 slots if you're into Red Nova), which means they have to figure out how to both have all of the tools they need for good plays (stuff like BRD and/or Clear Wing are must-haves in any deck that can reliably make 7s, for instance, and TG Hyper Lib is also considered pretty necessary), while sacrificing from their Xyz access (most synchro decks don't have good R4 access unless they're designed to make 7s almost exclusively).
Even in weird decks that can reliably make both R4/R3 plays and Synchro plays, you're sacrificing SOMETHING, be it consistency, recovery, or function. If you put more xyz counterplay in, you won't have as many of your good endgame monsters, but without the Xyz you may not MAKE it to your endgame.
Synchro decks have it rough because they're outdated at worst and jack-of-all-ED at best.
Fusions and xyz only need generics, well the good fusions only need generics. Synchros need tuners and the correct number of levels. They're like extra deck rituals at this point, especially because there's no such thing as a good splashable tuner, they can't be used for xyz material, already a massive point against them, all of them do not have good stats to defend themselves or attack at all because they're sole job is to get on the field and complete the circuit needed for synchro summons. They're garbage and synchros relience on them with how speedy the game has gotten has hurt them beyond repair. Unless the deck is dedicated to all summoning methods or synchro alone, there is no reason to ever choose a synchro monster over a more flexible fusion or xyz summon. Why, if Strave Venom didn't need polymerization or some effecto that is treated as a fusion summon it'd be a xyz monster wearing a fusion disguise
>good splashable tuner
What you meant to say is a card that is splashable FOR its Tuner quality, not a splashable tuner. Effect Veiler is a fairly splashable tuner, but good luck actually talking yourself into using him for White Card plays.
Synchros are built around the idea of level climbing through consecutive synchro summons. To give a comparison to another summon type; think of how clogged Raid Raptors are if you focus on RUM (shit gets clogged as fuck as you need to spend multiple slots to really take advantage of how much space is being used on RUM; now, make your entire summon mechanic work like that, with a focus on using synchros as materials for other synchros in order to make big plays. It's a great idea, since synchro summoning a bunch is fun as fuck, but it's very easily punished and synchro focused decks lose out on a lot of utility for the sake of merely functioning at all.
No, I meant a monster that's good for other thins besides being a tuner Noble Dragon Magician and Tuning Magician are horrible tuners. Noble Dragon only summons dragons, will throw it'self back into the deck if it's material isn't an Odd Eyes dragon monster and destroys itself in the pendulum zone, Tuning Magician is a regular effecto monster that deal damage to you and heals your opponent for no reason and it was given a pseudo pendulum effect when they could of just made the card a pendulum monster in the ral game and changed it's effects to something more beneficial. Just like Uni,Corn,Helprincess, Trump witch and Creation Magician, Cute but garbage
Neither would benefit nearly as much from the extra moving to 20 as synchros would. Yes, they'd be able to shove in a few more decent options, but with synchros, the decks would become infinitely less ruined by simple disruption.
This. As it is you have to talk yourself into running so much as dupes of anything that isn't BRD, and even that takes some convincing. A larger ED would help leagues.
If this was a video game I'd suggest a capacity-based system where certain types of card cost more (which would allow decks to focus on their core strategy while limiting Xyz spam to "what you NEED" instead of being "7-15 Silver Bullets for everything" like it is now), but that's difficult to implement in a long-running TCG.
I liked Nekroz and think that it was an interesting deck, even if it did have a habit of devolving into the same combos routinely. The idea of having Ritual Monsters that could do more than dead in hand until summoned was a good one, as were concepts like Ritual Spells that use the ED as fuel and Ritual Summoning from the Grave.
Much like Gishki, though, I feel it tried to do too many different things at once. Finding new ways to use old mechanics is something to admire and be encouraged, but if you change too much too fast you're bound to fuck up.
I really want those 3 Masked Heroes that are Missing in action, Stratos and Shadow Mist to be unlimited and for heroes to get a a better searcher than E-Emergency Call and Reinforcement of the army.
I have a question about YGO animes as a whole (minus Duel Monsters)
Why does everything revolves into the cards even when it's unecessary ?
What I mean by that is why did the Signer dragons reincarnate into CARDS ? Why did Yubel was a Card ? Why did the numeron dragon became a card etc...
Why Duel Monster cards if they weren't related to ancient dark duel times ?
For Arc-V, even if you didn't mention it, it's considered a kind of extreme sport.
Cards can become literally real, with their attacks shredding the landscape and tossing duelists like ragdolls.
Why watch something like soccer when you can see a huge monger ripping a shredding another in a high-stakes tense battle? Therefore, the cards themselves are considered important and a representation of the owner's soul, their strategy on what could be literal battlefield.
It doesn't answer my question. Arc-V hasn't the problem I'm trying to solve yet.
I only want to know why divine entities would become playing cards while they can become literally everything.
It's logical with Aesir Gods and Egyptian gods because they were probably used in ancient times.
However Signer dragons by example, WEREN'T cards at first or weren't used as cards during Nazca era. So why did they chose being cards ?
GX tried to explain that there were spirits from all over that became attached to cards (either by association, genesis, or personal will), but the explanations got lost amidst a lot of the Johan/Judai/Yubel drama. In the event of mythological figures, Pegasus would use some machine thingy to paint their "essence" and draw them into the card.
The idea was that Duel Spirits existed all over the place and that the Ancient Egyptians were just one of the first people that actually went full Pokemon and had them duke it out. 5Ds shows that the Aztecs also had some similar stuff going on (although it's never referred to as Shadow Games and they use field drawings for their big shit, not temples with stone tablets).
ZeXal is sortof in its own universe, but with the Numeron Code's existence, it's not hard to imagine that the Numbers just retconned themselves into existence at any and all eras.
Arc-V doesn't really talk much about the spiritual aspect of cards (at least, not yet), but the cards do seem to have some sort of mind of their own (even outside of the D R A G O N S), capable of rewriting their man-made effects at will.
For 5Ds, they adapt to the environment around them. Turbo Duelisng is the center of attention for everything, with the winners being revered like gods. Why wouldn't a dragon that conforms to each Signer's soul want to become a strong card that can lead someone to victory? To fly around them as they take the stage and defeat everyone in their path? Maybe if soccer was the most important thing then they would become shoes or something.
Zexal is dumb and has no real reason for Astral's memories to become cards.
I haven't watched GX, but I think it has to do with Judai putting some magic or some shit into cards when he designed them and made them real, causing Yubel and Neo Spacians.
Does that answer your question?
Oh, well, that question was actually answered pretty openly in DM.
Card games are considered the modern, less-barbaric alternative to sword/gun duels to the death and/or grevious injury.
>For 5Ds, they adapt to the environment around them. Turbo Duelisng is the center of attention for everything, with the winners being revered like gods. Thanks it actually answer me. It seems I forgot this to be said during the jail arc, but now I remember it
What the fuck happened with Reira then?
Did he come from a parallel dimensions with no card games to solve war so everyone just built tanks and shit?
Arc-V doesn't treat Card Games as the be-all-end-all for the entire populace, at least not on Standard. Remember that duels are almost exclusively for entertainment acts in Standard, so they wouldn't be solving wars or anything with them.
Crystal Wing was created by Yuya and Yugo synchronizing.
Dark Requiem was probably already Yuto's, but I still find it weird he didn't take it with him, and I only saw Yuya grabbing his RUM, not DRqXD.
OEPD was made from OED, OERD was created by Yuya, and Starve Venom will probably be Super Poly'd with one of Yuya's dragons for an upgrade.
Training for anti-jobbing is now in session.
And he ruins the fruit..with his steadfast cock
There is no consensus. Everyone has their own wacky fanfiction theory of what it all means based on the scant information that's been given to us for the past two years about the meta plot, though it's seeming more and more likely that the manga is somehow a continuation of the anime.
That's pretty much what a backwards peace sign means anyway here in London. Still, Paradox got shit on mainly by Judai alone in that duel.
Bonds beyond time was six years ago, feeling old yet?
Because Synchro was a filler arc. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
1) Yuya and Yuzu separated (like at the end of MCS);
2) Dennis and Serena are back at Academia (like how Dennis wanted to bring Serena back to Academia before she announced herself to the Lancers);
3) Yuri and Yugo are in Academia (like how Yugo and Yuri were teleported in the Ice Field);
4) All of the Lancers are separated (like at the start of Synchro);
5) None of the Synchro characters or legacy characters made it into the third season.
>b-but we had character development!
Fuck off, it was filler, and you know it, you fucking NACfags.
>introduce best characters Roger and Sergei
>let them die
>Character development is filler
>Learning how the Academia invasion happened is filler
>Learning of how Academia infiltrates dimensions (Roger's infiltration of Synchro) is filler
It's no more filler than Pre-Maiami Championship; because none of those characters are relevant now either, but there was character development there too.
her face looks so hot here
No, Jack scolded him the first time for trying to play brutally with a one-track mind, which is what Reiji told him in the second duel.
Then Jack scolded him a second time for trying to be stupid and thinking he was supposed to be more passive instead of aggressive, which is what Yoko got after him for.
Jack literally took the lessons Yuya had been taught in Standard -- don't let your emotions cloud your dueling, and you have to take action to bring people smiles -- and morons like you think it was something unique.
They outlined this shit in the Jack/Yuya duel itself. His style of fighting was by mixing different methods (synchro/pendulum) and his corresponding message was that in unison, the cards (in this case representing the city's individuals as the duel was designed to decide the fate of the city itself) could achieve far greater things than any singularly strong piece could. Jack's Tyrant was a lone superior individual that was surpassed by the united efforts of cards of varying levels of power. This resonated with the discontented city residents and gave hope for reconciliation where there otherwise wasn't prior, because it offered a perspective (THAT WORKED) that no one was focusing on since it was so alienated from the mentality of synchro dimesion. Everyone was so settled into their unstable social castes, they didn't recognize the possibility of something more until Yuya showed it through his dueling.
Don't put up false fronts just to try and entertain the audience, make the audience want to be entertained by proving yourself worthy of them. Speak through your dueling, not use it as a means to an end but as the entire process. Pendulum summoning was his creation, he should capture the hearts of everyone by showing that he is the true master of his trade, not just someone who simply has it in their arsenal.
Yuya has been Enlightened, and reached a state of Nirvana. His 'soul' was troubled and unable to find a place to settle, and as he followed Jack's words, he understood what he needed to do. Have you noticed how Yuya has been calmer lately and more thoughtful? Instead of beating Edo for the sake of beating Edo, he had a goal in mind: find out about his father. If it wasn't for Yuto, he might have succeeded. Maybe he would've lost, but he could've wrangled some answers out of the person who clearly knows Yusho personally. He also is talking with Yuto, thinking about the role of the DRAGONS, and how Dark Rebellion seems to want Yuto to be residing inside Yuya. Subtle, but important character development.
Does that make sense.
maybe they'll have the bracelet or whatever that contains Selena, Rin and Ruri and gives it to her cause Muh Evil Plans cause manga Yuzu probably doesnt have her counterparts already in her I bet Selena will be the first one she switches to if they actually exist in the manga
I doubt he is since the next pack will probably be a pendulum fusion. XYZ arc looks like it'll finish by 120. At best a magician XYZ, without any rank-up cards being involved.

Anon, ignore everything after GX when it comes to the Duel Monster spirits,
Like someone earlier said, starting from DM, the spirits date back to ancient Egypt were people would capture the Ka and put them into stone tablets, then summon them later to do battle.
I never watched that bullshit called 5Ds but from what I understand the "ouuhhh ancient signer dragons" wanted to be hip, get with the modern age, so the ooouuu ancient crimson fagon magically made them cards that no one else has to overpower the cast of this fail of a series while the bosses at the company that makes the rest of the cards in this series sit high in there skyscraper building watching the signers duel sayinng "this is fine".nonsense
In that stupid and idiotic rash of a show called show called zexal, I mean ZEALLU, the staff needed to wank off XYZ cards, truly know as ABC cards because of there stupidity and there stupidly easy way to summon them. In this show an "oooouhh ancient dragon, was lonely, ........ so it created the universe, that's it, and after talking to the Yugioh publishers and Konami to avoid copyright, turned "specifically" into XY..., I mean ABC card that somehow made it to that universe's earth in the hands of the dumbass who had constantly killed people for trivial reasons and is currently storming around the current series attempting to card his friends. Surely, this ancient, and all knowing dragon had made a complete and wise decision.
