Who will win, Kuroro or the Clown.
My bet is that Quwrof already included getting hit by BUngee Gum and Texture Surprise in his strategy.
But Hisoka will pull another nen abilty, and then
I want Hisoka to lose tho.
I've been waiting for this moment my whole life. Can't wait for Hisoka to finally die.
How bad must your ADHD be to miss something that is literally explained in the page where it's introduced?
I thought the "nen gets stronger when the user dies" explanation given by Chrollo was related to the explosion ability becoming stronger or something. But if didn't disappear because that, it just makes his ability even more bullshit.
Why would you believe that? There's like half a page where he explains what it does. Nowhere does it say it makes the explosions stronger.
You are fucking retarded and have the attention span of a child.
I love Chrollo but Hisoka has main character protection. Hisoka will win.
Hisoka can't die because we didn't get his backstory.
In the overall importance to the story he out ranks Chrollo so therefore I say he lives. I could be wrong and he will be dead next chapter but I feel Togashi likes the character and will use him for the future.
Hisoka doesn't need one and will probably (hopefully) never get one. Read better manga if you think backstories are important to establish characters.
>In the overall importance to the story he out ranks Chrollo so therefore I say he lives.
He has literally 0 relevance to the plot.
You fags are grasping at straws so hard to avoid having to face the fact Hisoka will die, it's pathetic.
I just feel a character as well liked like Hisoka needs a backstory to see why he turned out the way he turned out.
>He has literally 0 relevance to the plot.
Nope. Him and Gon will fight with no restraints in the future. Gon will beat Hisoka to surpass him.
Machi knew about it but she thinks it can only be used in relation to Hisoka's own body. So even if she spilled the beans to Chrollo, Hisoka would still be able to use it effectively if he found an opening elsewhere.
The reaper has spoken. Next chapter Hisoka will do something amazing and turn the tables.
Gon does not give a fuck about Hisoka anymore since he gave him his tag back. Not mentioning he lost his nen.
Hisoka has absolutely no relevance and this is a great opportunity for Togashi to give him a final "big" moment before killing him off.
Zeno heavily alluded to the idea that had Chrollo been fighting Zeno 1v1 with intent to kill and not steal nen abilities, Zeno just might lose - pre-Chimera Ant arc.
Netero deemed Zeno a fucking equal - I don't need to elaborate on this.
Hisoka gonna get btfo'd if Togashi doesn't use this as a ruse cruise to get Chrollo to fake his death and find passage to the DC for whatever fucking reason.
I don't think anyone is going to die in this fight, but I think Hisoka will lose his Bungee Gum.
Hisoka already performed 2 of the 4 requirements for Chrollo to steal Bungee Gum with Bandit's Secret - he might just get his shit took.
His only relevance is to Gon, nothing else. And Gon has lost his Nen, making him irrelevant to the story as well now. Hisoka is nowhere near as important as you think and I wouldn't be surprised in the least if Togahsi has set up these chapters to establish Chrollo again by killing off a villain who has lost his relevance.
>Netero deemed Zeno a fucking equal - I don't need to elaborate on this.
Yes you fucking do you mongoloid, Netero constantly understated himself while Zeno was fully fucking aware of their gap in power.
its a bookmark, always been part of his skills book just never used it before.
He needs to keep the page of the NEN hes using else he loses it, like reading a book. So now he can open the book to page and have a page saved, allowing the use of 2 abilities.
>some nen can exist when the user dies
>nen that exists after death is stronger
Why wouldn't the explosions be stronger now since the nen fits the first two categories? Chrollo even explained that you can get a bigger explosion than what was shown by holding the two symbols together for a few seconds.
Gon is the freaking main character. He will get more relevant and get his nen back later. Hisoka has been missing only in the chimera arc, even in the election he had a purpose faggot. He is not limited to Gon, your mind of retard is.
I like it because I don't belive Chrollo can match Hisoka in a staright physical match and it's still one of the bloodiest fights in the series with the audience in extreme danger.
>Netero deemed Zeno a fucking equal - I don't need to elaborate on this.
That's fucking retarded
>I don't think anyone is going to die in this fight, but I think Hisoka will lose his Bungee Gum.
Hisoka already performed 2 of the 4 requirements for Chrollo to steal Bungee Gum with Bandit's Secret - he might just get his shit took
This is what I think
He's going to manage to stick Hisoka with his antenna and then make Hisoka kill one of his clones so he can fake his death in front of everybody. Afterwards he steals his hatsu and leaves him without his so very precious Bungee Gum, a fate worse than death.
>editor warned us about one of the "top 3 shocking HxH moments"
>people still think someone won't die in this fight
>people still think it won't be shitsoka
>he will get his powers back because he's the MC!
Read better manga if that's the way your mind works.
>He is not limited to Gon
Yes he fucking is, even in the election he only got involved because Illumi told him that both he and Killua could die. That's literally the only thing that makes him relevant to the plot.
>he only got involved because Illumi told him that both he and Killua could die
Reread the arc faggot. If you think GOn won't get his Nen back you are even more retarded than I thought. He helped because Illumi asked him to. At a point he was even thinking of killing Killua.
>Read better manga if that's the way your mind works.
>Quwroffags so worried that they have to put on airs and shitpost 50 times a thread to draw attention away from the inevitable
Your denial is delicious. I will enjoy drinking your tears as Hisoka hotglues the ugly spider's corpse.
Oh yeah, Chrollo would be murdered if went for King Georges fisticuffs with Hisoka.
but he has the indoor fish that could be used.
How many skills do you think he has?
Does he have a Ghostwriter poem to help him in this fight?
Killua is just as irrelevant as Gon now, you dumb cunt. And why the fuck should Hisoka retain importance to the story by fighting people he has literally nothing to do with, while Chrollo, who actually has history with Kurapika, doesn't? That's retarded. He doesn't "still have to fight" shit. His arc ended when Gon's Nen did.
Indoor fish would probably attack the audience and get destroyed if someone opens the door to run away.
He probably used the ghostwriter to make sure he'd win the fight, that's why he says he's 100% certain of his victory.
>you will live to see the endless stream of Hisocuck butthurt and tears when their gay clown gets literally blown the fuck out
Reminder to thank God every day for having the opportunity to witness this moment
Yes, I would say Enhancer,
rules would be to create a circle and to be in it. The ability to increase the relative gravity or the feeling of it within the area, the larger the area the harder it is to accomplish.
Limitation - you'd have to be able to carry whatever your holding under the same effects, if you can't you get crushed.
Chrollo can even afford to lose limbs considering he has Machi on his side. Hisoka doesn't, and even if he did it probably wouldn't be possible to stitch back on because it'd be due to an explosion.
No matter how you spin it Hisoka is fucked. It's time to let go.
I'd guess an ability that lets you warp space could give you the apparent ability to control gravity, even if practically speaking you wouldn't be controlling the force of gravity itself. So far emission and conjuration seemed to be involved in using portals, so it would probably be one of those.
I think a Hisoka v Gon fight in the future would be a much better place to kill off Hisoka.
Maybe Hisoka meets Gon later and sees that he's much stronger, wants to fight him, but Gon won't so Hisoka kills/hurts someone close to Gon, so Gon will want to fight, and Hisoka just gets dumpstered.
idk I just feel like that would be super satisfying.
Togashi likes to play around with battle shonen concepts and expectations but I'm surprised how avidly some of you think Gon is now "irrelevant". This series isn't as wildly different as you may have convinced yourselves.
Gon will inevitably come back and be relevant. His nen conundrum will be dealt with. Killua will return as well. It might not play out like anyone expects but thinking these characters are gone is nonsensical and desperately trying to raise HxH on a pedestal as something wholly unique.
I'm getting the Stuckman treatment
Nice strawman you fucking mongoloid. Everyone knows Gon will be relevant you fucktard, he still has to meet Gyro. However there is nothing suggesting he will get his nen back and you're talking out of your ass.
Stay in your Bleach thread.
We know with both RUBBER and GUM on his side, losing is not possible.
NEN is more about how you use it rather than the ability itself.
Chrollos ability should have made him godking of the universe.
He must witness the Nen ability in action with his eyes.
He must ask about the ability and be answered by the victim.
His victim's palm must touch the handprint on the cover of Bandit's Secret.
All of the above must be done within an hour
I don't want Hisoka to die but I'd rather not have Chrollo die yet either, it would kind of be a waste.
Chrollo and Kurapika should confront once more, the car ride was one of the best moments in Yorkshin.
To steal Bungee gum he'd have to .
>He must witness Bungee Gum which has the properties of both rubber and gum in action with his eyes.
>He must ask about the Bungee Gum which has the properties of both rubber and gum and be answered by Hisoka.
>His Hisoka's palm must touch the hand print on the cover of Bandit's Secret.
>All of the above must be done within an hour.
Togashi will pull a twist and Chrollo will steal Texture Surprise.
>not doing both
Step it up, anon.
Hisoka has the edge in close range combat and misdirection with bungee gum/texture surprise + better enhancement.
Chrollo has the edge in versatility and surprise/counter attacks, with skillhunter/doubleface + unknown Hatsus.
This fight will probably come down to whether Hisoka can find Chrollo before he counterattacks, and whether Chrollo can avoid/counter bungee gum and texture surprise.
I think Chrollo will win.
>mortal match between the two greatest antagonists and characters overall
>even though there are tens of more important characters Hackashi could kill off for shock value
He's senile alright.
>Chrollocucks thinking that Hisoka will lose to a faggot who got punked by a fucking kid
>>Chrollofags think Hisoka will die
>>muh 100 different abilities
>>muh explaining all of my abilities before we fight
>>"my victory is assured"
>>using mass innocents as a weapon in a deathmatch
He lost as soon as he started mouthing off and explaining his abilities. Typical deathflag.
I think it's interesting how Hisoka/Chrollo fans think just because their character has the advantage in battle, they will win. As if Togashi would just think "Hmmm, I think Chrollo/Hisoka has tactical advantages in this fight for X, Y, Z reasons, thus I will make him win."
Obviously Togashi has planned out the future of this arc, and decided the victor accordingly. People are being absolutely stupid by trying to determine the winner by thinking out their abilities, skills, intellect, or whatever to determine the outcome.
>People are being absolutely stupid by trying to determine the winner by thinking out their abilities, skills, intellect, or whatever to determine the outcome.
People do that for fun. It's not serious.
itt retards who legitimately think Hisoka will die before he fights Gon. Did you even read the series? It's been a central plot point since basically the beginning. Hisoka is the main antagonist of the main character, he's not going to off and die to some side character.
Neither one of them is going to die and if either of them do it will be Chrollo.
It doesn't matter who is right anyways because some of us will be dead since we'll get a hiatus before the fight is over.
Hisoka > Chrollo
Chrollo is just a dumb Skill nerd. He's good only at blabbering about what Skills he's stolen. He's got not battle experience and he's got the mentality of a child, which is why he's going to lose.
>all these retards ITT forgetting that Hisoka has Bungee Gum which has the properties of both rubber and gum
>being stupid enough to think that Togashi will kill off Gon's love interest
Togashi needs to kill off chrollo to mindbreak kurapika a bit, maybe then kurapika might get some character development
What I meant to say was all abilities used in conjunction with doubleface, which doesn't necessarily include doubleface itself.
If this condition is true, it would explain why he didn't explain black voice the first time he used it.
this whole lengthy ability explanation that mentioned Meteor City makes me believe that the original user was Gyro
there's no other reason for Togashi to go on about it for so long
Not at all, it's no surprise that you /v/ faggots outnumber /a/nons, and your shit taste is infamous. I have no problem with waving the less popular flag if it means I'm not sitting among you mouth-breathing retards.
>shonen cliché: I carefully explain my ability to the opponent so he can counter and curbstomp me
>HxH: I have to carefully explain my ability to my opponent or else it won't work, so I merge it with such a great amount of other absurd abilities that the explanation will take 30 pages and my opponent won't have a clue of what the fuck I'm saying
Knowing how much of an edgelord Kurapika has become, he'd be pretty pissed if someone denied him a Chrollo kill. The lesser spiders, he can ignore if they die, but Kurapika probably has a personal beef with Chrollo and wants retribution at his own hands.
I wouldn't be surprised if Kurapika wants to capture and torture Chrollo the same way Chrollo did to his clan.
If Chrollo died it would DEFINITELY destroy a big chunk of Kurapika's motivation.
>the Ryodan continue existing, and by existing I mean sitting on their asses in Meteor City
>the Ryodan gain a meaning and start hunting Hisoka
>Knowing how much of an edgelord Kurapika has become,
>I wouldn't be surprised if Kurapika wants to capture and torture Chrollo the same way Chrollo did to his clan.
Kurapika doesn't like torturing people.
>If Chrollo died it would DEFINITELY destroy a big chunk of Kurapika's motivation.
Not really. He's focusing on retrieving the last pairs eyes from Teserriednich, as far as we know chrollo doesn't play any role in that.
Whoa you are so fucking dumb, it's clearly stated that the Zoldyck family are the most powerful of the world.
People tend to forget that Netero barely survived his fight against Maha, read the manga fucking idiots.
Does this look like the face of an edgelord?
>People tend to forget that Netero barely survived his fight against Maha, read the manga fucking idiots.
You should read the fucking manga, because it says nothing more than Netero fought Maha and survived. "Barely" is your own headcanon.
more of Netero was the only one able to survive Maha.
The Zoldycks outside of Maha are all assassins with manipulation and transmutation nen. Not good for the whole get punched by the mountain man fight. So of course theyd say netero was stronger.
Netero was incapable of taking other humans serious by that point, while still thinking everybody was an equal opponent. A sneak attack just might have killed him and he knew it.
>If Chrollo died it would DEFINITELY destroy a big chunk of Kurapika's motivation
But his entire motivation is to find his clan's eyes. He's completely forgotten about the Roydan at this point.
>my post is somehow bait
>I've gotten used to dealing with monsters in human clothing
I'm not saying he's completely off the deep end, but he's been pursuing his revenge since his childhood.
>Kurapika doesn't like torturing people
What an odd, irrelevant statement to make. I'm sure he doesn't like hunting the spiders either.
Yes. In what way is Kurapika edgy?
>I'm not saying he's completely off the deep end, but he's been pursuing his revenge since his childhood.
And now he's abandoned his revenge. He just wants to collect the eyes.
>I'm sure he doesn't like hunting the spiders either.
He actually doesn't. He was disgusted at what he did to Uvogin.
Not the guy you responded to but I don't think Kurapika would torture Chrollo out of hatred. He had Uvo all tied up and didn't torture him, he just flat out killed him. The only reason he punched up his gut before killing him was to get information on the other spiders, anyway.
He was disgusted with killing Uvogin because Uvogin was just a regular spider and not directly responsible for his clan's death. The only spider Kurapika can safely blame is Chrollo, who he thinks is effectively still nenless. I'm sure if Kurapika found out that Chrollo was back on the streets he would hunt him down again.
You're probably right that I was wrong about the torture, but if Chrollo pushed his buttons I can see Kurapika snapping.
Starting your post with "kurapika's an edgelord" is just crying bait
>What an odd, irrelevant statement to make.
Jesus christ. Fine, he doesn't WANT to torture people. He didn't use any violent methods against people who previously owned eyes, and he's also not going to go out of his way to torture Chrollo. His last goal is to collect the remaining eyes, that's it.
Hisoka is a main character. Chrollo is just a guy involved with a fan favourite hunter group. Hisoka surely has a better set up for the next story since it's mainly hunter vs hunter.
I'm going to say Hisoka won't die but he might not win the actual fight. Like he's going to hide in a bust up part of the stage and Texture Surprise his way out of it at least or use it as an attack at most.
>He was disgusted with killing Uvogin because Uvogin was just a regular spider and not directly responsible for his clan's death.
Yes, he was. He eventually recalls being part of the slaughter when Kurapika reminds him. And Pika was disgusted precisely because of what he did to Uvo. He's not the kind of person who likes to inflict pain on others.
And it's possible that he does know that Chrollo has his Nen back but just doesn't care. He said that he's know immediately if his Chain broke.
>Hisoka has no relevance to the plot
>entire character is about fighting Gon and Killua in the early chapters
>Chrollo has more relevance than the Clown who kills strong guys for fun and has beaten top tier fighters in the past
Chrollo is a good character but Hisoka isn't going anywhere. He was a major focus of the hunter exam, battle tower and was even in later stuff where we had him in the sports battles etc.
He's more relevant to the plot of the 2 most integral characters than Chrollo is. Chrollo literally just spent 3 years of inactivity after appearing for a handful of chapters. He's only around because Hisoka needs to step up to a heavyweight hunter killer class and Bungee Gum and Texture Surprise won't work on experienced fighters. Gonna guess he has a new hatsu that will be used to beat Chrollo purely because he wouldn't be chasing someone he can't beat, as proven with the fact he backed down from Illumi.
Hisoka is indeed a pointless character atm, he is madness and his acts don't bear any meaning. Yet he was introduced since the beginning and has been involved in every single plot point, too much in fact, hunter exam and then bam, out of nowhere he is with the spider who are related to Kurapika. It's too convenient, the HxH world isn't centered around Gon and friends at all at the beginning.
All in all it would feel weird to have Hisoka die a death as meaningless as his existence is now. Chrollo feels quite pointless too actually, what are his motives?
He is as evil as Hisoka, if not more, so all in all I don't really see the point of this fight apart for the classic "build up" aspect, which is to introduce a powerful character only for him to be defeated by another character thus building up the fight against main char.
Like it is done many times in the baki tournament arc or any tournament arc
>There are only two.
Sure thing faggot, Kurapika's now the MC of two arcs.
>He said that he'd know immediately if his chain broke
I assumed that meant if his victim died, not if nen removal occurred (which I assume does not alert kurapika since the nen is just consumed by the maggots).
And my point was that Uvo was just a pawn to Chrollo, Kurapika quickly sees that all the spiders were incredibly loyal to Chrollo so he can't really blame them for following orders.
Even with Chrollo, Kurapika showed mercy and tried to get him to stop killing. Kurapika doesn't want to kill, which is why I guessed that as a last resort Kurapika would torture/maim over kill (but this statement pissed off a lot of people for some reason).
If you people think Kurapika is 100% over the spiders you're sorely mistaken, he literally made a nen power gambling his life just for those fucks. Since he sealed Chrollo, his current goal became the eyes.
His original fortune acknowledges him being a traitor, but he rewrote it so that everyone else would think he was forced to reveal information. And everyone bought it, only Nobu was suspicious.
I'm neither, I'm a Killuafag. I just don't see why Chrollofags are suddenly out of the woodwork and beating their chests. You know Hisoka v. Gon is central to the story, why would Hisoka die here and leave that unresolved whereas most of Chrollo's stuff is mostly resolved?
You know what gets me off more than anything else in this world? Its the moment anons whimper "how can this be..." as hisoka gazes down upon their favorite character, right after he shatters their knees.
>I just don't see why Chrollofags are suddenly out of the woodwork and beating their chests.
So, it's okay when Hisokafags do the exact same thing?
>You know Hisoka v. Gon is central to the story
No, it fucking isn't. It's a complete non-entity in the grand scheme of things. No one aside from Hisoka gives a flying fuck about it.
Gon will almost certainly get it back, and if he doesn't, it's not like Gon is the only one that interests him. He was interested in Killua too. A lot of people interest him. It's just that Gon was always the most interesting person.
And for what it's worth he could totally lose but still live. People lose fights and live in Hunter X Hunter. Unless this is to the death in which case yeah, Chrollo is dead. Unless there is supposed to be a curveball.
>Hisoka is literally the poster boy of this series
>Hisoka is literally the poster boy of this series
Oh, my god. Hisocucks are really this deluded.
>Hisoka is literally the poster boy of this series
Stop spouting stupid shit.
>I just don't see why Chrollofags are suddenly out of the woodwork and beating their chests.
I'm not even a chrollofag but you're a fucking imbecile. Why wouldn't they come out for this fight? Also it's safe to assume if you're a chrollofag then you're also a troupefag, and those faggots are more than apparent in these threads.
>Hisoka is literally the poster boy of this series
that, and there might be others with stronger anchor points than Kuroro's books. So even if they die and their nen becomes stronger after death, it may not remain in the book, going somewhere else instead.
All this samefagging. Yes hisoka is the fucking poster boy of the series. Hes by far the most unique and memorable character, and hes who everyone thinks of when they think of HxH
If this Gungi master dies I swear to god I'll fucking murder Togashi.
She's so sweet and genuine.
What the fuck, you haven't caught up yet? The fuck are you waiting for.
Even Killuafags are laughing at you.
>HURR BROWSING 4CHAN WHILE I'M GOING THROUGH THIS POPULAR SERIES
You're honestly better off just ASKING people to spoil your dumbass
The story is practically set up so Hisoka loses to Gon one day. There's no way in hell he's gonna die to cuckollo.
But those characters have a relevance to Hisoka, and it would mobilize the Ryodan from their shitholes in Meteor City.
Chrollo winning would achieve nothing story-wise.
That's why Chrollo is going to win.
Togashi is a fucking troll. I know it, you know it, we all know it.
He only stated this one would be a fight to death in order to play with our minds. So, I say either both or no one dies.
How would Kurapika feel if Hisoka did kill Chrollo?
None of them will die
Someone unexpected will show up and stop the fight at the nnngggest moment
it will be someone we already know, but don't know his/her ability, and we will be like "ow shiiiiiit"
and it will be
His arc is Kurapika's arc though, and it's not over. It doesn't make sense for either of them to die here, even knowing Togashi's penchant for anticlimaxes it's too sudden and premature. There's not enough build up, no stakes, no relevance to the plot, and they both have unfinished business/untapped potential.
People forget that for every anticlimactic ending Togashi writes, he's already written multiple climaxes into the arc prior to that, but this has no set up at all.
>The story is practically set up so Hisoka loses to Gon one day.
No, it isn't, you retard. Hisoka is the only one who cares. The story itself doesn't. If he dies, then literally nothing will be affected in the slightest.
>chrollo is that one kid that had EVERY power
Do people seriously defend this shit?
they can do it by creating a nen space or "enhancing" properties of gravity to make shit float or make it heavy.
but i'm pretty sure, the enhancer would have to be a physicist to do that.
>I assumed that meant if his victim died, not if nen removal occurred (which I assume does not alert kurapika since the nen is just consumed by the maggots).
That was never stated in the manga. You shouldn't make conclusions off of assumptions.
>And my point was that Uvo was just a pawn to Chrollo, Kurapika quickly sees that all the spiders were incredibly loyal to Chrollo so he can't really blame them for following orders.
Uvo being Chrollo's subordinate does not exonerate him in any way for Kurapika. He still massacred many members of his family and he still took their eyes. Their loyalty to Chrollo means jack shit to him. He never once thinks "Oh, they're just following their bosses orders, I guess I can't blame them for slaughtering my entire clan and ruining my life". That's dumb beyond belief. He harbours no sympathy for any of them.
>Even with Chrollo, Kurapika showed mercy and tried to get him to stop killing. Kurapika doesn't want to kill, which is why I guessed that as a last resort Kurapika would torture/maim over kill (but this statement pissed off a lot of people for some reason).
It didn't piss anyone off, but again, it's just an assumption. He did kind of torture Uvo for a bit instead of killing him, but that was purely for the sake of information, not any notion of mercy. As for Chrollo, his mercy came from his realization that his quest for revenge ended up endangering his friends. He prioritised them over Chrollo.
>If you people think Kurapika is 100% over the spiders you're sorely mistaken, he literally made a nen power gambling his life just for those fucks. Since he sealed Chrollo, his current goal became the eyes.
I don't think he's completely forgotten about them, but the eyes are clearly his priority now. Even if he knows about Chrollo, he likely still wants the eyes first and foremost.
He had to jump through a lot of hoops to get them, to be fair. And it makes for an interesting fight that it's a match between a guy with a tonne of complex abilities and a guy with just a few simple abilities.
kuroro has already shown all the nen abilities he's going to use in this fight.
he won't use any others because he already has a set strategy that he's using and believes 100% that he will win.
Hisoka will die. But his soul will choose to go back in time, the time when he was happiest, and he will be at candy shop buying gum. Illumi who loves Hisoka wants to be with him too and wants to be in a time when Hisoka'd love him, but since he already loves Chrollo he'll go back in time before Hisoka is born, and become his mother.
Hisoka won't die for the simple reason that there hasn't been any build-up for it. Despite Togashi's anti-climactic tendencies you can't bring Hisoka back (okay, Election arc isn't that long ago) and then kill him off without adding an extra dimension to him. His character has been static for a long while, only getting minuscule amounts of development. He's part of HxH's core cast and no Ponzu. Even Netero, when he got brought back after a hiatus, got a lot of characterization before his death.
This counts even more for Chrollo who we haven't seen in a long time but what Hisoka has on Chrollo is that he's part of the "core cast", at least image-wise. When people (fans & non-fans) think of HxH he's one of the most likely characters to pop up in one's head. I do think that Chrollo is more plot-relevant than Hisoka though. Hisoka's only barely related because of Gon, and even then they got their fight in Heaven's Arena. Meanwhile Chrollo is head of the troupe, we still don't know his concrete goals and he has a lot he could potentially offer because he hasn't been elaborated on.
kuroro will get tripped up, because even if he knows about surprise texture from machi, he doesn't know that hisoka can apply it to surfaces other than his own skin.
and conveniently, all of the abilities he's using rely on marks that are left on the skin. transfer student, mark of humanity, and sun and moon all rely on leaving marks on surfaces which hisoka can use to his advantage tricking kuroro and throwing him off-balance.
Does anyone else get triggered by bolded words in manga translations? They aren't shitty western comics and I can discern for myself which words in a sentence need emphasis (it's not even half the words they choose to bold).
The faggot doesn't have a point. Hisoka is:
>A shit character
>Has a cancerous, memespouting fanbase
>Has an awful motivation, which ties into being a shit character
He's just garbage. Togashi knows he's run his course, so now he's using these chapters as a means to take him out back and put him down.
GIVE ME ANOTHER ANIME AS GOOD AS HXH /A/ PLEASE.
I've seen so many shows, in an attempt to fill the void that was left once this magnificent show stopped. I know the manga is still going, but I just can't seem to get into it. I need the music, color, and feel from watching it to truly experience it.
What have you watched that had the same effect as hxh on you?
I don't even know what's going on with these threads, are people just ironically mad at each other about who will win? Until now both Hisoka and Chrollo have been generally well liked, but memesters are suddenly so invested in one side that they keep calling people cucks over it.
Chrollofags are just so scared for their dead man walking that they can't help but call everyone cucks to distract themselves from their impending grief. Take pity upon these poor souls.
holy fucking shit read the manga.
But he didn't know texture surprise at the time. And he still had no proof that the fortune was altered, even if he was filled in by Machi later, as she was only sure that it works on Hisoka's own body. It's not a logical leap to take, he didn't have enough evidence.
If Hisoka likes fighting strong people that much why didn't he start shit with Illumi or any of the Zodiacs yet?
>muhhh troubled youth background just want to be with my friends forever
>muhh dues ex infinite powers
>relevant for 1 arc
>so deep and metaphorical like the devil 666 xD
Do raws usually have bolded words? I always think of it as an obnoxious western thing, but I only look at raws occasionally so I can't remember if they've got it too. I can't imagine it would work with Japanese, the separation of words isn't as clearly defined.
He's considered it for both of them but he's probably gotta prioritise.
>But he didn't know texture surprise at the time
Irrelevant. Machi has zero reason not to tell him later and he can piece the two together with the power of hindsight.
> And he still had no proof that the fortune was altered
Everything going wrong when they decided to stay coupled with Hisoka's betrayal is enough to tip him off.
>It's not a logical leap to take, he didn't have enough evidence.
The mental gymnastics he had to do to rationalize Hisoka's fortune compared to the rest of the spiders took more effort than this.
>Do raws usually have bolded words?
He doesn't need to see the aura to get it.
Hisoka removed what Chrollo thought was a real tattoo.
If Hisoka took the effort to fake it with texture surprise that means the troupe at least checked how real the tattoo looked on him. A simple sticker wouldn't cut it.
Hisoka told Paku that his fortune was fake. The spiders that got her memories should have told Chrollo about it. He looked at the fake fortune himself so he should be able to figure out that Hisoka did something to the paper that's nen-related.
>10 weeks later the hisoka chrollo fight still go on
>chrollo is going to win
>hisoka turns the tables around with the gum he planted on the very first chapter of the fight
>chrollo is going to die
>a spider (probably machi) thrown himself to the line of fire and sustain a fatal wound
>the spider takes chrollo away
>hisoka let them go because he already won
>spider dies and chrollo decided to go to the dark continent because of reasons
>chrollo allies witha prince and dies against kurapica
>another hiatus and the arc still cant end
Truly unmatched in the HxH verse. But i can see togashi killing off hisoka in a bs way because he made hisoka too op and gave him a power so broken that no one can even hope to defeat him
He didn't say that just to sound cocky.
HOLY SHIT I JUST REALIZED HISOKA HAS THE POWER OF RUBBER AND FUCKING GUM
>and didn't predict Hisoka's?
How do you know? If he still had the paper he only needed a picture of Hisoka. He could also check the Ryodan member's future and see if it mentions their leader dying, just like it mentioned Uvo's death. By asking Hisoka twice whether he was ok with a death match, he makes sure that one of them will die, or at least that he won't.
I wouldn't be surprised if Bungee Gum wasn't actually Hisoka's ability, but rather an just application of Dokkiri Texture (texture of both gum and rubber). I could totally imagine all of this "properties of both GUM and RUBBER" repetition could have been a mislead planned out this whole time and hisoka actually has a real second ability.
>Chrollo: Ah, Hisoka I will now realize to you my most powerful skill in my possession currently, I can
BLOW UP THE FUCKING PLANET
>Hisoka: That's cool, I don't really care though.
The problem is with you then.
If something that is clearly explained and makes sense in the manga doesn't make sense to you then what do you expect us to do about it? Magically make you sane through the power of the internet?
>Chrollo needs skill hunter, sun and moon, order stamp, double face, covert hands and TWO abilities borrowed from shalnark and kortopi (Black voice and gallery fake) to stand a chance against hisoka's bungee gum
Pathetic tbqh no wonder he was running like a bitch all this time
For anyone a little confused and tripped up by hisokas bungee gum here's an example of what happens when the properties of both rubber and gum are combined in motion.
>Right after Hisoka smashes Cuckororou's legs.
Guys, Hisoka (and the manga) already peaked in Greed Island--pic related.
Time to pack it in.
yeah it's a shounenshit thread alright
There's literally no way Hisoka can lose this fight by the way, he's way underpowered and that means he already won.
