Nice choice anon. Igarashi Daisuke is on my short list of favorite mangaka.

Mine too!
I like Majo best.
Some nice storytime is always good in my book, glad we have another one today. Sakura no Sono has been pretty nice, looking forward to this.

I haven't read any of his stuff, guess I'll check him out depends on how this one goes.
>>141029204
Agreed. I think it's his best work. Hanashippanashi is great too though, and the short story format is perfect for story time dumping.

Go and read Majo (Witches) as soon as you can. It blew my mind in a way I can't really express upon first reading it. Really an essential work. Easily one of my favorite manga ever, and it's relatively short.
Artwork, story and atmosphere are all top notch. If you enjoy any of what OP is dumping right now, you should not deprive yourself of Majo. Pic related is just a tiny taste.

I meant like he is on a very short list of my top few manga artists, but I love Little Forest as well. How did you like Children of the Sea? I found it hauntingly beautiful. The slow pace and long stretches with no dialogue were perfectly suited to the themes and story, and Igarashi has an amazing ability to visually convey the vastness of the sea, and the sense of immense dread that even a strong and experienced swimmer can sometimes feel when in deep ocean water.
