Why is Ruuko so fluffy and why does she fill me with the urge to pat her head and rub her cheeks?
lost orange better be good or I'll riot
I'm starting to feel very frightned about the future outcome from that series. I really want it to be a new series but I also want the series to keep the core creative members in the original series.
Sometimes I get some amounts of nostalgia about remembering all those memories from 2014 when we had discussion about this series.
I thought we only had these feelings but in reality the person in charge of the series perhaps are the ones who keep the series they literally helped to come true as final products more than we will ever do. And even when they get old, they still will remember they had it's name written in the ending ED, perhaps not being known or recognized, but they will keep the memory.
Spread was a mistake and we have 2 years woth of discussion about it regarding every single variable for it. Now if we want to go further we can develop an econometrics method to overthink anime production process a shit.
>you will never repeat Infected's delicious visual experience again
>you will never see Infected for the first time again, reset everything after you've finished it and start over
What do you want vs expect from the new season? Infected 2.0 or something different like SOL with the original cadt just playing the game? Im going to guess infected 2.0 with new girls but the main girls might show up at one point, or a previous selector as a LRIG (or a twist like one of the new girls is actually possesed by one of the previous selectors we know from Selector).
Anyone get magazine 4 yet? Mine is on its way and hoping it has some spoilers.
I'm open to everything. Wouldn't expect an Infected 2.0 though since the mystery aspects were fully explored.
The official website hints at some stuff I think.
What's on your season 3 wishlist, /a/?
Personally I want more like what we had in early season 1 where the girls were doing CCG stuff like deck building, buying booster packs and going to tournaments. That made me nostalgic for my childhood.
>WIXOSS season 1
>Set the story up for a Madoka ending
>In a super satisfying twist, the Madoka ending is denied and season 2 is announced
>WIXOSS season 2
>12 episodes of exposition
>Get a Madoka ending after all
Nah I'm done with this show
>not putting creature control in your deck
She asked for it
Time for Akilucky to star in her own WIXOSS season. Makes sense considering her whole story in Spread was cut short and became a loose end.
>Story of Akira
>Lots of her being a bully to other girls
>Hints of broken home life and the darker side of the child idol industry
>The story of her rivalry with Iona
>The story of her meeting Piruluk
>The story of her destroying Cancer-chan
>The story of her running away from home with her scar and eventually becoming a Selector again and meeting Milulun
>The story of her subsequent obsession with Ulith-Iona
12 episodes isn't enough
That was almost 2 years ago.
Just kill me now.
I still want a silly SoL spin-off, except the girls all retain their trauma and weird personalities.
Just the part where she's a bitch and wrecks selectors with Piruluk while hating on Iona.
Have Midoriko and Kiyoi be commentators whenever there's card battles, Hanayo and Yuzuki awkwardly fighting over Kazuki while subtly implying threesomes would be a-ok, Akira going around causing crazy shenanigans with Ulith, and Ruu and Tama having a friendly rivalry with Yuragi and Alfou, then we'll be golden. Also, Mayu gets bullied somehow every episode.
Personally I want it to involve WIXOSS in a different way. Perhaps not with the batoru we know we love, but a different kind of setting: like I said, Selector or whatever name they put them now transform to their respective LRIG in this series 'batorufield' or 'in real life'. Basically, I want the new series do what Digimon Tamers for the digimon franchise.
Wasn't it axed? I heard they called Aki Eda to draw Magic The Gathering manga. Seriously.
>mfw the next series compositor is Chiaki J. Konaka and it features both Umr and Tawil
>what Digimon Tamers did for the digimon franchise
Yes please. This.
But I mean, it can be kept consistent with the original series if they just make some kind of new problem arising from WIXOSS beyond the destruction of the Selector system. There were hints in Infected about the batoruverse bleeding into the real world, so maybe something like that happening would be interesting to see. Maybe the distinction between Selector and LRIG collapses and you just have something closer to what we saw in the Infected prologue with Tama and Ulith facing off for real.
It would be fun, but we can maybe explore other concepts rather tan making a wish come true. Since you cannot think WIXOSS without conflict it would be nice to have another interesting reason for the little girls try to defeat each other really bad not even giving a fuck about the consequences for the lossers. I really liked that from Infected and it should be kept.
I can imagine it like a series in which we have multiple Mayu-likes person with these kind of abilities in different cities and they compete each in order to expand their influence area so they can develop their agenda but using her selectors.
It could be something as simple as Ruuko and Iona wanting to find Tama again and inadvertently opening a pandora's box of some kind.
Or maybe Ruuko starts to feel empty and gets batoru withdrawal, which combined with her desire to find Tama again makes her withdraw from her friends and become hostile towards them. She eventually does the same thing Mayu did and spontaneously creates a new "system," maybe without realizing that she's the cause of it.
続報は8月7日（日）に展開するイベント“WIXOSS -SUMMER STORE-”で発表したいと思います。
Well considering that Tama and Yuki should be the same person from the end of Spread, it would have to be just Ruuko. Maybe getting a new LRIG too.
Though I don't think we'll get any of the same characters at all again.
I think we will keep the LRIGs, but I am not sure if they will kept their voices. Perhaps they will hire the originals VA and make them speak differently. It would be an amazing touch.
personally would hate this. sounds less Tamers and more of that super sentai one. While it would be cool to see the batoru seeping more into the real world beyond wishes lost, I wouldnt want them magically transforming. Half the fun is the interaction/dynamic between the Selector and her LRIG, doubly so after the body swap was revealed.
this might be cool.
agreed, it needs to keep its atmosphere of dread.
didnt Destructed retcon the Spread ending or do we know yet?
would bet money, since Mayu already has a anime design.
And has written a word , it misspelled the red line is drawn in the Lostorage.
In large - Hanami tournament I was allowed to announce this title is a new animation .
Is this time last year , what will the kind of movie to movie production announcement ! ? I think that it was time that .
Russia storage . True meaning of this word ?
What to draw what the world ?
Ruuko and Tama ?
Incted ( abet ) ?
Not exhausted the question and expectations .
Follow-up I would like to announce at the event "WIXOSS -SUMMER STORE-" to be deployed to August 7 (Sunday ) .
If it can be said only one , " is the animation of the card game"
A place called .
The sides of the as a new card game , make while in conjunction with animation .
I think that you expect .
Third year of WIXOSS also , everyone thank you .
>Russian Tama and Ruu get hype
>We don't know anything about Destructed.
Didnt someone in a wixoss thread post about some spoilers from a tumblr that had seen it a few months back?
>lost or age
>'losto' in spanish is similar to 'I lost' so 'I lost rage'
EMS saying it should be here no later than friday for me.
>The last safe city or "storage" after a massive war between Selectors
>A war incited by an innocent girl that unwittingly wished the LRIGs free and accidentally merged the batoruworld with the real world
always that one guy. Itll die when people stop wanting to Batoru.
This artist does all the LRIGs so squishy. its cute.
It seems there was a bit of a misspelling with Lostorage.
We announced the title of the new animation at the Great Flower Viewing Festival.
Around this time last year, I can remember everyone's high expectations when we released information about the movie.
Lostorage. What intentions lie behind this word?
What world will be created?
What about Ruuko and Tama?
What is incited?
There are endless questions and speculations.
We'll reveal more at the next event Wixoss Summer Story August 7th.
The one and only thing I can say now is that it will be a "Card Game Anime".
We will be creating the anime alongside a new card game.
I hope we meet your expectations.
Thank you for being with us as we enter our third year of Wixoss.
Takara Tomy, Yamaguchi
>We will be creating the anime alongside a new card game.
Why would thyey release a new card game when WIXOSS is doing well?
Yes, it actually says new card game. But to be completely thorough, the line is "With one part being a new card game, we will be linking that with the creation of the anime". Whether they mean in addition or totally new, I don't know. Japanese just uses English loan words however the hell they want.
Thanks for the clarification. I wonder what they are up to. We'll see in 4 months.
So what do we here think of KZNVR, ignoring all the trolls? I'm very pleased with it as a whole; Okada's character writing meshes perfectly with TRGGR's expressive animation and attention to detail, and their visual direction is different from what JC Staff did for Wixoss but equally builds the atmosphere.
Nico is obviously a best, and it's great how with each new little revelation you can go back to previous episodes to unravel more about all their personalities. With her, you can see that it wasn't simply throwaway with saying she lost her previous friends--that deeply affected the way she acts and even now she's insecure, but still confident enough not to give up after one or two setbacks.
And then there's SNZK's true goals. In the past we now see that she was a believer in people being different as a good thing, yet now she appears to be on the other side with the Committee. I definitely think this is just a front, and she wants to be proven wrong with the current experiment to prove that her past views were right. There's so much to pick out for every one of them I can't do it all at once.
I'm avoiding the threads.
Yeah the visual direction is neat but it lacks entertaining elements in my opinion. Also half the cast pisses me off. Even watching grass grow is more interesting than this MC.
I dunno, maybe it just didn't click with me.
Kacchy is the type of progag Okada loves to write. Someone who doesn't understand themselves or how to connect, yet desperately wishes to form bonds with other people. The unsaid part of his character is that even though he lost most of his sense of pain in the previous experiment, that doesn't explain his lost memories and stunted emotions. The easy answer is that he'll be used as a vehicle to show that pain is necessary to develop as a proper human with true emotions. Beyond that he might end up wanting to devote himself to a single person rather than "everyone", in contrast with his childhood views and in parallel with what happened to Sono.
That image is funny because Yuzuki is more like Chidori than Hisomu. During the last episode I could hear her screaming between the lines "What's wrong with being straightforward?!"
I've been thinking about this and I think I got an idea.
It was stated a few post before some franchise shift a la Digimon Tamers and it would be interesting. Regarding the whole 'new card game' it doesn't mean it have to be unrelated to WIXOSS. Just think a little about Digimon Tamers. If I recall correctly, in that series they added the booster cards to enchance the experience with their products and we can use this as basis for the new propositon about 'new card game': Takara Tommy wishes to use the whole rich background in WIXOS and use the already established elements 'LRIG', 'SIGNI', 'LIFE CLOTH', etc., to create an alternative to play WIXOSS. What does this mean? If you got bored to play normal WIXOSS, you can play WIXOSS mode v2. and perhaps they add some new type of card to get more shekels.
What is the conclusion about this reasoning? This kind of development for WIXOSS franchise could lead to something more and more close to what Digimon Tamers did. A new way to include WIXOSS TCG but affecting people lives in a different manner.
In my opinion, if they manage to generate a new way to play a card game with the already WIXOSS and at the same time create new card types to generate more revenue and succed. They won't be also gaining shekels, but also my respect for the glorious person in charge of commercialization.
Kiz looks good visually, but I hate the characters and not in the fun way like mayoiga. Both threads on /a/ are equally terrible, for different reasons. Still watching it, but mayoiga is the okada of the season for me.
>Kacchy is the type of progag Okada loves to write. Someone who doesn't understand themselves or how to connect, yet desperately wishes to form bonds with other people.
Which would be no problem if he wasn't so sleep inducing and unmotivated (which seems to change now).
Also Yuji Kaji
Maybe it gets more interesting with the summer camp.
The tcg is already popular, and very well designed. I dont think they need to, or would, do anything so drastic.
Can't really do much if the characters put you off that much. I'm watching Mayoiga too, but the end of episodes 4 and 5 just ruined the chance to be serious (funny story, Okada did the scripts for 1-3 but not 4-5). And Lion is straight out of Another, for fuck's sake. I hate to say it but the whole thing just makes me laugh throughout it. I'm interested in that MC though, not least of all because I can relate to his feelings about girls being nice to him (when I was his age).
>Okada did the scripts for 1-3 but not 4-5
So its all but confirmed okada series only go to shit when she doesnt write them.
Mayoiga is entertaining, if not serious, at least. Kiz is sort of boring and feels cut out and too by the books so far. It could come around and surprise me, but if it wasnt trigger and okada I would have dropped it already. Oh, and Nico because her voice.
>Not liking Nico's voice
That is not batoru.
The best from the franchise. Infected's Iona we will never have another one like her again.
Did that britbong free his Tama out of customs' claws?
this is something else indeed.
waifu2x'd this picture but its too big to post.
any idea what all is at the wixoss store besides packs and the art books?
Akilucky is cute!
She's super cute!
they should, but we're getting this first
Sorry to dissapoint man I don't like watching card battles I just watched it for the incest which I fairly much liked.
"Orange" is a missing (lost) sixth color in the WIXOSS color wheel
C H R O NO C R O S S
I'm fairly sure it's just 'Lostorage' and someone's just dicking around.
In which case I'd say it refers either to a main character's missing memories or a crate of forbidden WIXOSS cards in somebody's basement.
>post yfw we will finaly know who truly is pic related
The numbers remind me of book covers but I don't know which one.
>LOSTORANGE is about Ruu as a LRIG and Tama as her Selector
isnt this from the app game?
Remember, true friends don't let their friends play TCG.
Thank you based Amazon.
Will print and enjoy.
It's probably the back cover of the second PA volume.
This is the back cover of the first.
I know it's has been a long time ago since this but I'd like it to get a proper TL.
Yuura was a nice girl, why it had to be like this?
Which LRIGs are you hoping we maybe see in the new season?
Pic related, I think she'd be a great character and different enough from the original Infected/Spread cast.
I still can't believe Kakuma Ai is Lovepon.
But what does it mean?
Didnt know this, no wonder she is best girl.
Probably it won't happen in Kiznaiver. I don't know how much one writer gets paid by series compositor's doing but these are very variable and someone like Okada would earn a lot. That's only talking about series composition. About being scriptwriter I know these people are paid by line written, so figure it out and finally, if Okada manages to build a hit, she will get royalties for that series. In summary, for a sucessful writer, one can get three sourcers of cash flows in the best case and two safe inflows in case your series bomb. She is getting the shekels with Kiznaiver and probably a bit more with Mayoiga.
>tfw you will never earn money because of your creation
>tfw you will have to be FRM to ever get paid enough as Okada
>tfw you will have to study MFE to get paid more than her
I'm excited. I hope we see something great soon.
ok, scanning the Destructed book (unless someone pops in and says it hasnt been done, then on to the next)
someone better than me can clean em later I am sure.
want to translate some of this?
sorry some (many) arnt that even, this pinters a pain to work with and trying not to ruin the book.
Chiyori was only tolerable because of Eldora.
the VA for Tama in both of Okada's shows this season as well.
>the VA for Tama in both of Okada's shows this season as well.
U w8 m8?
I don't think Mari Okada has that power to choose the Seiyuu of her tastes. That is Kantoku's choice. Also, I think Ai Kakuma (Ruuko) is in Mayoiga as Love (Wea)Pon meanwhile Misaki Kuno is Nico in Kiznaiver.
>getting more seasons
>movie BD out and soon rip and sub
we will always need threads, as long as Batoru exists in our hearts.
half the reason Im posting it besidesI love you all in /okada/
spoiler inside of spoiler doesnt work anymore?
also scanning some random pages of things and will psot after all this is up. Now that my scanners working, expect the Magazine 4 this weekend (hopefully).
Lost her mother when she was young, was taken in by her uncle's family the Togasakis. Carries a deep darkness in her heart, she did a lot of weird things such as torturing insects and as a result was shunned by the people around her. Before long she was left in the care of an institution by the Togasaki family. This is how Ulith was prior to becoming a LRIG.
A girl in the Togasaki family that took in Rumi. Unlike her cousin Rumi, Sachi is an honest and kind girl. Unlike the adults, Sachi was accepting of Rumi but due to Rumi leaving for an institution they've been separated. Met Ruuko at a park when she was young.
Bottom 4, starting from the left
Yuzuki's twin brother. Holds Yuzuki dear as his older sister, he also helps her in selector battles. Before long he learned of her true feeling and was shocked.
Ruuko's brother. A university student who lives alone, occasionally drops by the apartment that Ruuko and her grandmother live in. Concerned about Ruuko who has few friends, he hands her WIXOSS.
Ayumu and Ruuko's grandmother. Raised Ayumu and Ruuko in place of her daughter who was unsuited to being a mother. Even now they are attached to Hatsu, who was kind to them.
The being that manages all selector battles. Appears in the white-windowed room that selectors who become LRIGs visit, she decides the destination of the LRIGs. Her true form is that of a girl who's confined due to illness, her jealously of the girls who are free in the outside world led her to create the system.
i dont get it
lets go with that
im at least 50% sure Destructed has a CD release, whether thats new music or not hell if I know.
If someone points me to where the BD is available, I might pick it up although im sure others are already on the job and I cant translate. But helping to speed up the process by throwing money at it I can do.
>last page next posters
I really wish I could study japanese but currently I don't have time to enjoy life, time to study for bullshit for international certifications, applying to a mind's batoru royale at local central banking soon and also being a salaryman. I want my life back ;_;
I have the rest of these, but they are framed and Its a pain to get them out. Ill scan them later if someone requests.
I dont know how to scan these so it looks better. Just getting the pile of junk to scan in the first place is a miracle, ive been saying for months now Id scan things for a wixoss thread and finally have.
I'll try again when I scan the magazine next thread. The image in >>141071190 has the white bg already.
now for some of the doujin pages. I had taken phone images of these before, but some of them might be better scanned and hopefully some wizard can combo the pages that have a crease in them.
well, one is
the crease isnt easy on the eye. some of these have images on pixiv, they just are large/marked.
a couple of clearfiles and Im done for the night, hope a few selectors enjoyed the dump.
and TL anons can come to the rescue
These few we should know pretty well by now.
Middle school 2nd year. Has a docile personality, she was bad at making friends. However, unable to just watch, her brother handed her Wixoss and through that she met and strengthened her bonds with the LRIG Tama. Furthermore, through selector battles she became friends with Yuzuki and Hitoe.
A successor to the Urazoe conglomerate, she works as a popular model. The LRIG Iona/Yuki dwells inside her body and continues to fight selector battles. However, Iona/Yuki became an eternal girl and now Ulith dwells inside her body and so made her personality militant and evil.
Ruuko's classmate. She's lively and cheerful but her feelings for her twin Kazuki are kept hidden. In order to fulfill this wish she kept fighting selector battles but became a LRIG herself in the end.
A middle schooler at different school from Ruuko. Has a timid and reserved personality, her wish was to have friends. Lost 3 times in selector battles and lost her right to battle but then later became a selector again.
Aoi Akira (best girl)
Works as a model. A middle schooler in a different school from Ruuko. Jealous of Iona who was more popular, she wished for the demise of Iona. However when Ulith took over Iona, she became charmed by her words and actions.
Innocently wishes for selector battles, a girl brimming with curiosity. She challenged Yuzuki and Iona to battle but her actual ability wasn't high. Her LRIG Eldora is always worried for her because of her overly honest words and actions.
pray to the poster above you. glad to contribute, wixoss threads have always been great.
Was Iona's LRIG but then took over her body when she became an eternal girl. Deplorable and militant, she is delighted by making people fall into unhappiness. After becoming Iona she spreads despair to her surroundings.
She's the LRIG of Hiroko who is a girl that challenged Iona, she reside in a white card. Under pressure due to a difficult battle against a combination of Iona with Ulith inside her and Tama, she kept encouraging Hiroko as they fought. She's a gentle LRIG that worries for her partner but when she calmly assesses the situation in battle she shows a cold face.
Akira's first LRIG. Though they are partners, she doesn't seem that close with Akira and she responds coolly to Akira's occasional outbursts of anger. Due to Akira losing to Iona, she disappeared from the world of the selectors.
The LRIG of Akira who once again became a selector. Normally more cheerfully talkative than needed, she doesn't put her heart into her words. On one hand, she shows the side of her that makes fun of Akira behind her back. She possesses a two-faced personality.
Chiyori's LRIG. Apart from Chiyori she speaks humbly using polite words . One the one hand she relentlessly inserts her tsukkomi remarks with regard to Chiyori and builds up a less formal relationship with her. She's concerned about the honest and hazardous Chiyori.
Ruuko's first LRIG. At the beginning she innocently enjoyed battles and gradually came to strongly think that she "wanted to stay with Ruuko forever". For that, her own existence might disappear, thus she didn't listen to Ruuko's wishes and became Iona's LRIG.
The LRIG that had dwelled inside Urazoe Iona's body. Having her wish of "I want to be a strong selector's LRIG" fulfilled, she became Ruuko's LRIG. Being something without a physical form brought into life by Mayu, she had a cool personality at the start but then got given the name "Yuki" by Ruuko and then became able to think of herself as a her own entity.
The form that Yuzuki took as she became an eternal girl and LRIG. She appeared in the hands of Hitoe who lost her memory after losing 3 times and then became her partner. Helped Ruuko in trying to destroy the wixoss system.
Yuzuki's LRIG. After Yuzuki became an eternal girl she took over her body and returned to the normal world. In order to fulfill Yuzuki's wish she seduced Kazuki but she gradually came to also like Yuzuki and so was at a loss as to what she should do.
Hitoe's LRIG. Refers to herself as "boku", she's a boyish LRIG with a kind personality that cares for her partner Hitoe. After Hitoe lost her selector rights, she was filled with regret at not being able to tell Hitoe the truth as she disappeared.
Thank you anon
hoping this threads still alive tomorrow
Huh. So Mirurun was actually kind of a bitch. I wish we would've seen more of that.
Midoriko being boyish is weird, seeing as her original human form was really pretty.
Kakuma Ai (Ruuko VA) x Kuno Misaki (Tama VA)
(top right quote) "I didn't think I would cry so much again for a new ending" -Kakuma
>In midst of the challenge of the first main role, the words that dispelled hesitation
>What did the selector series become in both of your minds?
Kakuma: I didn't think that I would be connected to this work for so long, for me it's the first time I took up a major role, to me selector was the chance to open up a lot of my possibilities. Through Ruuko, I can look back upon myself to see what kind of person I am, this work was a really important one to me.
Kuno: It hasn't been long since I was doing anime work that I got the Tama role, I was nervous at the beginning. I remember my heart pounding as I played the role every week. For Kakuma-san it's her first main role and I also know what it's like, I haven't talked about this until now..., at the recording studio I thought that I should support Kakuma-san as much as I could. But Kakuma-san was calmer than anyone else, she had herself together under pressure.
Kakuma: Nah, I think I made quite some complaints. In particular at the start I didn't know what Ruuko was thinking, so I was feeling depressed. However, at that time Kuno-chan said to me "If you do Ruuko, whatever that is is Ruuko", I used those words as the focal point to try my best. Although up until that point we have voiced in the same anime, in this work we closed the distance between us.
Kuno: We had more opportunities to talk due to radio and events. Even after the recording of the TV series was over I was delighted to have been able to be with Kakuma-san.
Kakuma: Oh no. I was also very happy. It felt that Ruuko and Tama were also very well synchronized with each other. As a result I was very empathetic to this story.
Kuno: Particularly in the last scene of the two, something suddenly welled up inside me.
Kakuma: There I was reading the script and then crying, watching the animation materials and then crying, even during the last recording I was crying, I somehow held it in when watching the final product.
The beautiful ending of the two heads towards an even more emotional conclusion---
>In the movie that emotional scene was added on, how do you feel about the way that the TV series ended?
Kakuma: I felt that it was a neat way to end it. Ruuko and Tama's relationship was entrusted to me or rather, "if it's their bond then it has to go well" is the ending we all discussed, personally I was satisfied.
Kuno: Me too. Although they couldn't be together in the ending, there were things such as Ruuko and Tama's thoughts for each other and being able to develop a deep trusting relationship. Though separated, something more certain that being with each other was left behind, I was finally relieved.
Kakuma: Tama in the 2nd cour never smiled right. There were a series of painful expressions and crying faces.
Kuno: Yes that's right. Most of the 2nd cour's script was her in tears and getting depressed.
Kakuma: There was also a time where both were crying right?
Kuno: Yes. That's why in the final cut where Tama was smiling I was really relieved. That expression links up with the last scene in this movie. When acting it out, Tama was so bright and divinely that she felt like a goddess. On top of taking in everything, it was like she was embracing Ruuko. Being able to meet such a Tama was an accumulation from the TV series up until now. It became a scene that I am very very emotionally attached to.
Kakuma: Though at the start she was like a baby.
Kuno: It's because she can't say anything other than nyaa.
Kakuma: They both met with smiles but it was Ruuko who was overflowing with tears. There's the feeling that their positions have been reversed, it conveys the feeling that they are supporting each other, it was a very emotional ending. The TV series final episode was also a very good final episode, when I learnt that the movie will show what lies ahead I worried if the emotional impact would be affected. But, it was a very fantastic scene, I didn't think that I would cry this much again.
>This time they also showed Ruuko's childhood, what did you think of young Ruuko?
Kakuma: She had a complicated relationship with her mother, realizing this Ruuko tried as much as possible to not come to grips with the situation. So I thought that this led to her become a slow child. When I think that this slowness annoyed her mother it made me feel miserable.
Kuno: There are many scenes where you think "they're going to draw up until that?". This is one of the charm points of the work, not only the sparkly parts on the surface but also showing the muddy parts in the depths is what I like a lot. The portrayal of Ruuko's past in the movie made me think "this really is selector".
Kakuma: Through selector battles Ruuko became someone who could express her feelings, makes you want her to reconcile with her mother doesn't it. And also when Ruuko herself becomes a mother whether she can properly face her child. (I'll skip the next sentence because I really can't understand) If in their first meeting Tama was like her state in the 2nd cour or another LRIG it'll again be something different. I want as many people as possible to see the new ending of these two. Being able to participate in this work has given me many precious things. I'm really thankful.
Kuno: Ruuko and Tama both grow a lot in the movie and thanks to this work I was able to experience a lot outside of recording such as radio and events. I’m not sure if I was able to grow though…
Kakuma: You are. You are growing (this should be a reference to growing your LRIG in the game).
Kuno: I’m glad. Being able to meet Tama, my heart has become rich. Selector to me is a treasure, I hope that it is the same for everyone too.
It's just 10 signi that appear in the anime/movie and 7 lrig that don't appear in anime.
Your 28.jpg didn't get posted because of >>141070549 being posted at the same time.
Kugimiya Rie (Rumi/Ulith) x Hisaka Youko (Sachi/Hanare)
>Please tell us the impression of the characters you voiced
Kugimiya: Regarding Ulith, I asked the producer about the character's backbone back during the TV series. I was told that "All there is that she loves doing bad things", I treated it as simple evil. As recording for the movie passed, I thought that she really was a person that lived clumsily. Here, the feelings of when Rumi was a human were shown, of course they are twisted, there are many odds aspects, but within that you can see a glimpse or her sense of sincerity and feelings of exerting the utmost effort, I was relieved from the bottom of my heart.
Hikasa: Sachi, the girl that I voiced, is a strange girl. During her childhood she was so pure that there are cruel parts too, she tries to remove anything that is different from her. And so, she should want to remove Rumi who normally is different from her but instead her feelings of love had won out. The reason for her liking Rumi to this extent aren't shown here, there might be various things between them. However Sachi really thinks of Rumi in a pure way, there it made me think that she's a strange girl. For an adult to act as an honest child is very difficult. That's why more so than Hanare's scenes, I was uneasy when doing the Sachi scenes, I was worried if they would be okay. Furthermore Kugimiya-san's acting is too good, Rumi was very scary.
Kugimiya: You were that scared? Actually this time I received the script only right before the recording, I was desperate in creating my own world. Rumi really likes seeing other people suffering, she's a character that is pleasured by that but I think that there's just a little "I would love to be a normal kid too" kind of thought in the very depths of her heart. Sachi subtly tickles that aspect and so makes Rumi even more malicious than before.
If I'm remembering right, Chiyori was always supposed to be kind of a secret character in Infected and only used in Spread, but the presentation came off a bit too strong so everyone thought she'd be more important sooner than she was. They admitted to that mistake. But her purpose really was to set up Futase in Spread with the LN and then show another aspect of Selector/LRIG interactions.
>mfw I have to hide half of a precious wixoss thread because of potential movie spoilers
Hikasa: I was scared at scenes like her laughing while crossing the road. Also she was left alone, there was a moment where I couldn’t speak the words intended for Rumi.
Kugimiya: It would have been easier to just reject her like everyone else, but Sachi wanted to care about her and so approached her. Rumi then felt a small sign of friendship, but what came up on the surface was her evil face and she thrust at Sachi's fragile aspects.
>Actually was there a scene where Sachi met young Ruuko?
Hikasa: I felt a little relived at that scene, it was a heartwarming one. A shocking event occurs and the two meet, it's a scene where they retake their childishness. For the grown up Ruuko there's the impression of a girl always screaming painfully. Even in this movie there are many scenes where she is troubled over the happiness of others. I think it's rare to think that it's okay even if sacrificing oneself as long as everyone can become happy.
>Kugimiya-san what impression do you have of Ruuko?
Kugimiya: More so than just regarding Ruuko, I don't really want to use these words but... the girls appearing in this work are all "stirring up sadistic interests". In order to completely turn into Ulith I searched deep inside to find pure "evil", I couldn't help but look at the characters through the eyes of Ulith. From Ulith's point of the world is really full of ducks (I'm guessing it's an insult but it's weird). She's seemingly strong but is actually fragile. Ruuko is the character that says "stop stop" the most but at the end she became strong and the type that would face you head on, she made me think that she's actually an unbreakable person. That is probably also why Ulith is so fixated on her.
