Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari or Tenchi Muyo! War on Geminar
Mecha anime with pretty good fight scenes but lots of fan service, with pletty of comedy in each. Basic character gets transported to another word and is strong then most others there but actually has an explanation why

Breaken Blade
Another mecha, very very good fight scenes, a pretty serious anime, people can manipulate quartz crystals so their military is built on that. Some people can't manipulate them, but an old mech from an ancient civ is found and the main character who can't manipulate quartz can piolet it. More enjoyable than it sounds, none of the "get in the robot Shinji" shit but also none of the "Im better than everyone else with zero training" also
