Would you rather watch a sub in 480p or a dub in 1080p?
I think I'd just not watch it at all.
is this even a question
I watch plenty of subbed anime from 2000-2005.

Sub.
Considering they're a fucking cartoons, most of which have fairly simplistic art styles, I don't really care about the definition as long as it's not blurry as hell.

Disgusting.
In what situation would this question even come up?
The only theoretical I can come up with would be a US publisher putting out a dub-only blu-ray for a series with no Japanese blu-ray. And that would probably be a terrible upscale anyway, so 480p all day long.
Reminds me of Oban Star Racers, you can only find it in dub... And I really wanted to rewatch it.

I traded VHS fansubs back in the day, 480p is razor sharp compared to that

If i could watch the subbed one on some SONY Trinitron 32" CRT then why not?
>he doesn't watch 360p French dubs with English subs

Evangelion in French works pretty well.

The source is lower quality?

>you accidently torrented all of Hellsing Ultimate 1080p in English Dub by ACCIDENT.
The dialogue was so cringey. I'm pretty sure I spoiled it for myself.

The sub for ants. My life of poorfagging and slow internet speeds got me used to them.
