The happy ending is what pissed me off the most. Like everyone else, I figured that since none of these characters were in R2, they must have died. Literally everything in the previous movies pointed to them dying in this one. But nope, instead we get a million fake out deaths and the magic shitfest. All of the buildup and characterization thrown away. It reminded me of what happened with the recent Gundam IBO series, if you watched that. I wonder if the plan was to actually kill characters, but they pussied out in the end since Japs can't handle their favorite character dying. And the way they showed Rolo at the end was hilarious, like anyone gives a shit about him.
