I know the series gets a lot of hate, and rightfully so, but if I really had to say, I enjoyed KNIM. Everything before Tokyo Arc was great fun.

Pretty much exactly how I felt. Her "losing" was a foregone conclusion, but she got practically nothing out of it all
Everything done with her past ch50 was wrong-headed, and everything past 170 was rage-inducing
The chapter where she's written out as a love interest was particularly bad, it just felt like a bunch of kicks to the teeth.

The author resolved her in a chapter or two by having her become his close friend, having him give the wrong answer after she obviously asked him if he was interested, and then having him come in too late to fix it as she immediately picked someone else. Shit was Quality Seo Rage.

The characters in kimi, outside of being in love with the MC get some sort of development as characters.

Fuuka is just an average harem with SEO-force drama on top to disguise the fact that it's just an average harem story.

It's really bad at being a manga about music. I just want romance and harem antics with hot girls. Seo's manga always start out well, but he self-sabotages his own stories for cheap plot twists and drama. I guess he does it so that it causes a buzz, and maybe that pays the bills, but in the end it really hurts what artistic integrity the works originally have.
