I've been buying localized manga since my childhood, which is 2 decades ago.

Yes I re-read them when I have nothing else to do. Stories like Doraemon is ever eternal and never boring.

Dust wise, I wrapped the covers in clear plastic to avoid further dust and shit.
I'm too lazy to clean the shelves, only did it once every year or so since they're in my dining room for other people to read.

Pages wise, they have turned brownish-yellow as fuck so that can't be helped.

I have my manga colletion on a bookshelf, I don't mind, since my collection is short and "socially acceptable"

Do people realy hide their manga? I mean, I can understand porn and sex toys, or not wanting to cover every angle of your room with posters and action figures, but you either have a very low opinion of yourself or you are under the misconception that people care about others' hobbies. Or both.
I mean, they're fucking comics, who the hell do you think would care about that? And if someone was so retarded to actually judge you for having them, would you really want such a shallow person in your life?

Or maybe it's just an american thing, I don't really know. No one has ever judged me for having manga in my country.
