WA2 actually hooked me with the drama, I jumped up and shouted at my screen both in happiness and anger, not other anime has ever made me do that.

WA2, but WA2 is one of my top 5, so that's not saying anything derogatory about Saekano.

White Album's anime is way better. If we're talking the source materials for both though, Saekano. The light novel has cool meta commentary on anime and otaku things in general and it's pretty insightful on top of being a fun story with nice characters and great dialogue.

They're both fucking great though.

They're different series from different genres, similarities notwithstanding. I'd say WA2 is more consistent in its quality. Saekano had a so-so start and it takes a while to get really good.

Setsuna and Kato are best girls respectively.
