Daily reminder that Code Geass doesn't hold up 10 years later.

Your daily reminder reminded me that I'm 32 and I'm still here.

I watched it for the first time 2 weeks ago and it totally held up fine.

How did it feel when you became a Wizard?
>>139832914
>watched it for the first time
There's your problem.
2006 was a pretty stellar year for anime.
>>139833312
If someone watching it for the first time 10 years later enjoys it, I think that can be considered holding up well.

Nah, could just be nostalgia goggles
>>139833827
>Nostalgia goggles for something you're watching for the first time.
Not how that works.
i tried watching it like last year and couldn't get passed episode 20 of season 1. the powers were all plot devices and bitches would be stuck on an island that defies logic and go take a shower lmfao. Also CC being at random places where the edgy main character was made no sense.
i miss lelouch

I would disagree. It's fine for a first run, but if you re-watch it, it's not that great. You could make a drinking game out of the plot holes and uninspired character designs.

>The Internets of streaming was booming.
>Everything at the convention was just re-screening of last season's fan subs.
Yes it sure was.

great
Code Geass is still the best TV show, aside maybe from Damages season 1. Maybe I have shit taste in TV though.
The last episode of Akito was so fucking weird.
I'll cry when it's twenty years old.
>>139833334
one of the best, easily
