The absolute madwoman.
Huh so that's why she lost her breasts, devils don't really reproduce apart from converting magic users into devils so they don't need any primary nor secondary sex traits. The thought didn't occur to me.
>tells the guy whom he knows has a body like a devil that his real body isn't there, even though he should have some idea that the guy is able to manipulate the environment
En wouldn't be complacent and toy with someone like the Crosseyes boss and reveal a possile weakness.
still a cool chapter.
Which version of Kaiman do you want to see be true Kaiman in the end?
Is this Kaiman still alive somewhere/somehow/as a head?
No, I mean, like, which iteration will be the one who exists at the end of the manga?
I didn't feel like listing off the names, but there's Ai Coleman, Aikawa, Kaiman, formaldehyde Kaiman. Any of the heads can resurrect via Noi and that cat thing.
Umm, he's currently giving the doctor and Risu a tour and telling them what he remembers from his memories (Ai and Aikawa/Kaiman are essentially the same guy now that their memories are connected and filled up the gaps)
What we have now is Aikawaman with all the memories from all the heads. You won't get original Kaiman back. He's been dead since mushroom explosion at hot spring. His chopped off head was overtaken by Aikawa, so his outdated self doesn't exist anymore either.
I don't believe Ai has Aikawa's or Kaiman's memories, since the whole thing was that he had 9 heads and each brain was unique. None of the memories were shared. And I'm pretty sure the hole monster has the other heads with him too.
>I dont want scalie end
Where did /a/ go wrong?
Sounds awful. Like a femdom ending.
>becomes a god monster because of magic user oppression
>a magic user is now your oppressive onee-san
The exact same thing would happen except this time the beast would also have shoulder-mounted laser canons.
so when is the final chapter? and is this thing monthly? it feel so irregular might have to have to start from the beginning to remember everything
what joy, might wait to buy it before I readbut the art kills my boner sometimes.
Yeah but the whole reason Ai did that was because magic users were in a position of power. If Nikaido (i.e. a magic user) back his oneesan it'd just be another drop in the bucket of his thirst for magic.
Unless she was like an imouto-type oneesan where he bosses her around and takes care of her.
En only died against Kai because he was caught off guard. En's latest feats are within the usual realm of bullshit strong he inhabits. He's feared and respected among most magic users for a reason.
En is a cocky bastard and that's what makes him great.
>En only died against Kai because he was caught off guard
Pretty much a retcon though. Since it was originally presented as Kai walked in and vector fucked En like smashing a drugged puppy.
Someone help me, I can't remember what scene Nikaido is referring to. What devil was she?
a few dozen chapters back when she and kaiman are still together at the beginning of the department store arc and she's doing stuff with her time travel magic. It's around the time the devil cabin shows up i think.
>Best girl turing into a man
Well, Q worked with Nihei after all.
>Well, Q worked with Nihei after all.
no wonder the art looks like shit but unlike nihei she doesnt have a degree in architect so that makes it worse. maybe she can get with oh great on the art, dont hear him/her doing anything
Most likely because he's dealing with a monster that seems to lack sapience. Also it would look cooler if he explain his sudden immunity and master plan. Overall, I really like how he used his abilities that isn't outside of what's established. Something that most action stories fail to bring is making powerful characters strong within it's defined logic.
This manga turned so mediocre. marathoned it last month.
where it went wrong:
Trashing Caiman's character in favour of some bullshit.
Since En's death
Cross eyed faggots
The current arc which has gone batshit
It was more fun when it had solid characters. Instead of liquid characters.
Best part of the manga is when Kaiman was a pie maker in the magic world.
They're lame. A bunch of dudes with knives should not stand any chance against a population of people with RANDOM UNKNOWN magic powers. And yet they butchered them by the thousands with ease.
I guess the manga did a poor job of showing that the majority of magic users really weren't so great in the first place.
They did a good job at showing how easily crippled magic users are when they can't put out smoke, Shin almost died against some cross-eyes because they cut him in the right places and he's a strong fighter.
>Marathoned this whole series back in January
>Completely forgot everything that's happening and who some characters are
I feel like I should just wait for the whole thing to be done and reread it
Didn't Kaiman regenerate and fuse with Aisakawa or something?
It's been a while since I read that part but I remember him finally becoming a single character and getting all his memories, with Hole having his own identity now.
I don't even think this last arc is particularly bad, it's just too long with too much time in between. There have been quite a few fun events, and the two chapters preceding this last one were both quite good.
It just sucks that the chapters roll around so slowly when we know we're at the ending but we're still not sure how much of it is left.
There was a female devil in one of the bonus chapters, her name was Alice. Either they can change forms to whatever they want (like Haru) or the mangaka made a mistake.
I just hate that most of the characters are just regenerating flesh blobs. There could be some interesting usage of their magic abilities but instead they've turned into sideline narrators.
Nikaido and Kaiman have been killing magic users with just knifes since chapter one.
Also not every magic user is at the level of En family members, and lot of the magic users were killed by Crosseyes Boss, which is why after he left they fell in decadence.
