Where are my conrevobros at ? It's just 42 minutes to go.
Also, let's settle the great debate from last season. Which one would you choose ?
JUSTICE / FREEDOM / PEACE ?
I'll make JUSTICE by putting my FREEDOM in her and give PEACE to her sexual frustrations
This is going to suck. I hate being a couple hours late watching this and missing the bulk of discussion.
It was my AOTY for 2015 so it's definitely the show I was most excited for this season, although it seems like this could be one of the best seasons in a while. Lots of originals that seem like they could be good.
Oh, cool. Thanks for the heads up.
Mm, yes, it's an iron detective Raito episode.
Maybe I should bang my neighbor's doors and tell them to stop downloading movie and streaming at the same time.
But I'm too pussy to do that.
Kikko is still cute.
That was a fantastic episode. The ED was so damn good.
This scene was fucking awesome with the music in the background and all.
I got you my friend.
Holy fuck i missed this show
But i still need summary anon to explain things to me
>low energy justice
ConRevo is back and it was great. I'm glad we're still going to get the episodic time skips, and starting out with showing Raito's turn was great.
Next episode with the Angel Stars looks like it's probably going to be really sad though. Do we have the staff list for it yet?
I like this Jirou.
Fucking hell, how can one fucking show have like a five twists in one episode and still not only be comprehensive, but actively really good. Like half of this episode was spent subverting things from S1.
>girl travels dimensions to see him
>he just uses her
So Equus is getting an upgrade. It looks cool as fuck.
This is like sort of BL lines.
He gets tired after using his powers
I wonder if all the Detectives must sing or something.
>it's a dubstep op episode
Shiba a best
What did she mean by this?
Are you me?
I dont get what's going on anymore.
The military now has jurisdiction over the bureau forcing on them it's ideals and arresting every superhuman on the spot.
This doesnt sit well with the bureau.
Meanwhile Jiro's group defends any superhuman regardless of the superhuman's actions.
No even going with crazy interplanetary coalitions or gas clouds trying to control evolution that may or may not posses Jiro instead of just helping him.
The ghosts are with Jiro now? What the fuck?
>This doesnt sit well with the bureau.
It seems to be pretty much according to Emi and Jaguar's plan, and Daitetsu's completely manipulated by them so he's going along with it too. Fuuruota and Kikko seem to be the only ones it doesn't really sit with.
Also, is Jaguar going to get erased from time or some shit?
>You will never be stepped on by kiko
Since they want to advance human evolution and see Superhumans as the next step, I assume Jiro's Superhuman revolution goes pretty hand in hand with their plans.
I didn't notice that you can see their faces in the flames when I was watching it, that's pretty neat.
This is the face of a human.
The music in this scene was so good.
Best animation of the episode.
So it seems like the possessive whore's gonna lose an eye
Nice to see she isn't just some reporter now.
>Fumers being usefull
Ah shit, with the new schedule I won't be able to watch with you faggots
The OP wasn't bad at all, but the first one is still the best.
It's okay because they're both robots, and they're broken on the inside too.
Untz untz untz
Somehow the looney tunes outro music started playing in my head during this scene.Great episode to start the new cour.
It was pretty wacky.
I don't remember this forehead steam thing so the sudden ET gesture was amusing.
The forehead steam was Shiba overheating due to all the second thoughts and doubts he had over what he was currently doing
Shiba overheating was introduced in S1 (it why he sings, to release the excess heat through song)
His current job as part of the bureau conflicted with his true ideals. He tried to tell himself it was OK and he just needed to obey, but deep down he actually didn't believe it and was constantly doubting himself and his actions
At least this time is gonna be an actual episode about them.
Indeed, they look like a bunch of friends doing silly things
Shes hugging him
It's not that deep. Just look at their shadows and ignore the rest.
Meanwhile, say goodbye to Detective Raito
Is cute reporter girl new?
Can they be beaten?
They are far stronger than the bureau and co
>FUNi has awful video but less awful translation, and Daisuki is otherwise.
Funi video is actually worse compared to Daisuki for Luck & Logic so it's still differs between different series.
First chapter was 2gud4myjusticeheart. Raito went from Robot Detective to Space Sheriff Fucking Gavan.
This show just can't have enough Kikko bullying
I hope she at least leaves the Bureau and joins her Jiro-senpai.
Why do Japan always have to do this stupid running pose?
>I hope she at least leaves the Bureau and joins her Jiro-senpai.
That's a bad idea. Emi looks dangerous as hell.
I am so unbelievably ready for this. Glad to be back, I hope the threads are just as fun.
I'm expecting a really well done action scene from what this hints. Fights on trains are always so fun.
>you will never be stepped on by high-heeled Demon Queen Kikko.
Why bother living?
>They're still going to have to go back and forth between past and future timelines
Oh god, I'm fucking out. I thought this second season will only focus on the future timeline and Jiro's superhuman gang.
Are you mad anon? No one would pick Emi over Kikko as a wife. Kikko would make a perfect mother for the children.
Emi is perfect as the slutty side bitch that's always jealous of your wife.
>Emi is perfect as the slutty side bitch
Emi is a possessive wife, she wouldn't be a "slutty side bitch" if anything Kikko is the side bitch trying to steal a guy from a relationship.
What happened Emi
I choose this
SEEING THROUGH THE TRIAL!
YOU TRULY ARE JUSTICE!
I'm a slut for pantyhose.
>Earth-chan and Jirou in the same side
Other teams can't even compare, team "we are no longer justice" a best.
What did this mean? Also, could someone refresh me on what "superhuman" exactly means here? does it mean everything that is not a normal human or is it more specific?
I believe it was initially meant to only include humans who were born with or gained powers, but was later broadened to also include others such as aliens or with technology beyond the level of current human civilization.
I remember the chief saying they were wrong to try and force the humans to evolve along the ways they the "Cloudians" wanted, I think this is their way of trying to fix their fuck up, letting humans duke it out and and whatever comes on top is the right thing
>Tfw Gross Augen is back
Didn't the Chief say he found the sense of justice Jiro had to be something good that the whole race needed? They may be helping him because when he got kileld he was the one who first saw the huge fuck up that their whole plan was, he appeared pretty fucking pissed when he went to his other Fumers, so he convinced the others to help Jiro because he was the only one who kept trying to do the right thing even while being manipulated by every side
I missed these threads
He clearly didn't mean to use Shirota as bait, that was just the Bureau's misinterpretation because they see him as a criminal now. He tried to stop Shirota when he went out to fight, and probably just thought that he could rescue him and get Equus back at the same time later.
Why is the Cheetah guy trying to secure Emi's pussy?
Because that is the form she will assume when she actually has to go for the kill and Claude drugged her and hypnotized her into believing he was Jiro and people were trying to kill him, this is probably what would happen to her if anything ever came actually close of hurting him or she went back to her world to become the Demon Queen she is fated to be
Meant this pic
he also tricked kikko by making her open the portal. s1 jiro would never do that. could be character development, more like a downfall into evil, or possession or symbiosis.
>Humanity fuck yeah
Dumb villagers apologist spotted
I've been rewatching the first season and I have some questions about episode 5. I'd appreciate it if anyone could clear this stuff up for me
Wasn't the point of them causing the accident of the train to get rid of Gagon without revealing the Bureau's involvement? Even if they weren't actually fighting it, you'd think that some people in the crowd would notice superhuman interference and connect it to Gagon's death. Were Kikko, Emi and Fuurouta trying to make it seem like they were trying to keep it from reaching the train to make the bureau look better? I'd wonder if they even knew about the plan, but Kikko told Jiro that Emi was out on a mission to defeat Gagon. Another thing is, would Kikko be totally fine with them sacrificing the drivers of the trains?
Also, why did the people in the march attempt to enrage Gagon? Why did Hiroyuki do it? I kind of got the feeling that he was trying to get his "brother" to freak out so that the bureau would kill him, for whatever reason. I get that they were trying to say kaiju are humans' anger and that watching them destroy can be satisfying, but it just didn't make that much sense to me why they'd shine all the lights on him.
Also, Jiro was answering Kikko's question about why he hates beasts but his explanation only seemed to explain why he would love them? Am I right in assuming that he relates to them because of his power, and he hates them because he hates himself/the beast inside of him? It just seemed kind of weird, at the end of the episode he was determined to stop the mayhem, but in the flashback narration he didn't sound that way at all.
I don't sympathize shit with monstrous shit
Hey, guys! I heard you have some alien problems so i came to deliver JUSTICE!
Emi. She's the cutest in all her forms, and isn't an infidel trying to steal someone else's man. Also, she's an actual adult, and a caring girlfriend.
Kikko is basically the devil. Remove Kikko.
Too bad Jiro doesn't think so
Glad you're all enjoying it too like me.
>October in the year of Shinka 46 (approximately 1971), Matsumoto
The Bureau and the Military are training how to use giant robots to suppress militant superhuman youths. Shiba Raito is having consciousness problems, seeing dead young people, the actions of the past, and is starting to have doubts. Also, the Bureau isn't really that happy with the training anyway, and Raito and the ninja commander are having another squabble.
A space sheriff comes to Earth to enlist their help to capture the nefarious "S" Planetarian that was sighted together with Jirou Hitoyoshi.
He's getting best buddy with his fellow android detective, talking about how there is only one type of justice.
While Psy-Kicker is holding another demonstration urging the students to rally against the government and the United States building an artificial island that will displace the poor kaiju from their monster island of Okinawa, they bring in a kaijuu to show everyone how that poor giant beast will have no home, but it then starts rampaging. Jirou and Akira Shirota are at the protest to observe the Bureau, and then Shirota becomes Shirota-Planetarian, titan of justice to fight the enraged beast. But it turns out to be a mecha-godzilla fake controlled by Raito's Axle to trap Shirota.
After a job well done, the Bureau goes drinking. Raito is starting to become more and more unhinged and reveals how he found out that the scientist who transfixed his human mind to his robot body was one of the doctors that was killed by Phantom Sword Claude.
Shirota calls out to Kikko, telling her that Jirou wants to see her, and she teleports to that place. Jirou tricks her, using her dimensional portal to enter the base, free Shirota and steal Equus back. While the Space Sheriff tries to execute Jirou, he himself gets killed by Shiba Raito, who is now crazy, and desires the Space Sheriff's chip so that he won't be crazy anymore. Kikko's love is unrequited once again.
>March in the year of Shinka 47 (approximately 1972), Yoyogi
It's been 2 week since hobbo Jirou gave Iron Detective Raito a good beating over Megasshin. Now he's crashing at his place, behaving like a true hobbo, eating curry-flavored ramen (which I believe he couldn't do so before), watching TV, and having some debate about the Revolutionary Army. Raito believes that the war against the government should begin, and confirms to himself that he is JUSTICE. Jirou is willing to help him to some degree, because Raito is a superhuman. Best buddies.
Fucking shit I can't wait for this. Raito has seen some shit. Also, older Kikko is pure sex. Looks like she got more stacked too. Can't wait to see how it all comes tumbling down.
Between these two shows, the girls with Purple hair are both the best. Theres some coincidence here.
>This entire episode
Oh god, it feels so good to be back
So, question: If we got the episode today, what's happening on Sunday? Is it going to be the same episode of Ep2
Because Ani says Ep1
But Chuchu's actually best girl. Kikko's canonically evil of her own volition. Don't associate the two.
This time around, it's the pink haired monster that's
Oaky. Just needed some clarification
Visually, I really like the themes of the ED, where the Bureau marches in perfect unison when the lyrics about ideals being a fantasy is sung. Also, that part where Daitetsu and Jirou are having a stand-off on that train with REX-FE in the background looks awesome.
It's great episode, and I can't wait to analyze all the symbolism in the OP and the ED with you together after work is done.
Nigga there's gonna be inevitable fusion with Equus, where it gets a fire scarf.
You don't want to see that happen? Get out of my face.
Sure, right. She "considers humans tools from which to obtain happiness" according to her known deceiver of an advisor, so it's not like she would try to maximize happiness or anything.
Give it up. Even while transformed, she was fixated on Jiro and Justice. At worst, you could say she's an extreme utilitarian.
Yeah, especially when she tried to murder him last episode.
Being best girl usually requires that you not be actually retarded. Hoshinoko is clearly not in the running.
Something from Code Geass, probably.
>tried to murder him
>while literally hypnotized into thinking someone else was him
You don't even have a single leg to stand on, anon.
Wonder where this photo was taken.
Guys. No arguing.
We all know, deep in our hearts, that Kikko is best Revolutio. No matter what form or shape she takes.
Here, further proof that she's literally powered by human happiness and thus has every incentive to maximize it.
I wonder what her Demon Queen form will look like with long hair.
Holy shit, anon, you're so dense.
Which reminds me, we never found out what caused her headache. Surely as a demon, she's not victim to the same diseases as humans are. I wonder if it's a mental thing like Raito's head problems were, except caused by magic.
>I wonder what her Demon Queen form will look like with long hair.
No matter what, it will be sex incarnate.
I really hope we see Semen Demon Kikko again, especially since she's grown in all the right places.
I think I like it more that S1's ED
Also, I swear this is Claude's helmet. But Claude's dead
No wait, disregard that, I'm blind
I like them both in all honesty
But in terms of OP now, S1 OP > S2 OP
Oh, you lost souls. She is a traitor to literally everyone.
Shut up, you
It'd be a big twist if not only is it Claude's helmet
but it actually is Claude
>Implying Emi would fuck anyone that isn't Jiro
Well, I could see Master Ultima melting the Claude-statue down to remake a superhelmet mark 2. Which would be gruesomely ironic.
But hey, at least it would be eco-friendly and a nice way to recycle stuff.
I literally just watched episodes 4 and 5 last night. And after reading your post I just skipped through episode 4 and none of the lines I read had anything to do with it, although I skipped through scenes I didn't expect there to be any dialogue related to it (such as Earth-chan fighting the squid Kaiju) faster
It's definitely mentioned at the end of episode 5. "The beast craze only lasted a year and a half, it was followed by a monster/youkai craze, but that's a different story"
can you post a picture to prove your point?
Thanks! Sorry, though, I was talking about my mental timeline. All I have is this from an anon last cour. Anyway, it seems all she says is that it takes place after that, so it could be literally any time after August of Year 42.
That's not possible, given that's before the Kaiju Boom even begins. Maybe you're thinking of something else.
My only complaint is that this sold really poorly if I remember Fall's numbers right, and so this probably won't do too stellar in the end as well. I really want it too though, I'd rather it be a success then a flop, but at least it guarantees the thread quality will stay consistently high.
Any merchandise worth mentioning? Like a Kikko or Jirou figure? I'm not to up-and-up with buyfaggotry, but I like this show too much to not consider getting something.
I also have this and a list of references to other media, but that's it.
I removed the first season from my computer. I swear it's part of the flashback where boy Jiro gets caught in the middle of a kaiju attack, or something like that. Maybe you're right.
Commie hiyaku with those BDs
There were time delays, so Kikkou, Emi and Fuurouta had to make sure that Gagon would be at the right time at the right place as Hyouma calculated for the train explosion to take him out. But it wasn't enough, so Akita had to jump in using his fumer powers to take control of the train. And even then, hybrid Gagon was still well and alive.
I don't think that the trains were being driven by anyone but Akita.
As for all the others shining the lights on Gagon to make him angry, it really ultimately was just that for most participants. You can see it how they run away rather ecstatic over having provoked the beast. Their message that they wanted to protest against war being shown as rather hollow, since all they wanted was to riot and break things apart.
As for Jirou, well, he hates how he actually wants to simply be a radical anarchist, instead of a true believer of justice. Jirou wants to deny this part, so that he can reaffirm his own humanity, believing himself to be nobler than what he really was. For although the Gagon of old did make him free, it also recklessly destroyed things, caring for nothing at all who gets hurt. That's when the Rainbow Knight jumps in, and how Jirou finds a new ideal. The great superhero Rainbow Knight replaces the destructive monster Gagon, standing in for Jirou denouncing being an anarchist, and wanting to make the world a better place.
But now, with him perhaps controlling or being controlled by the fumers, and relying on his kaijuu powers, will he truly stay true to his old ideals, or will he be nothing more but an anarchist terrorist spreading destruction and mayhem? We shall see.
>Any merchandise worth mentioning? Like a Kikko or Jirou figure?
None from the last season except for a pretty cool shirt.
I hope we get a decent figure of Kikko this time around. Any of the characters really though. I'd buy one for any of them.
Admittedly, I'm only following about 15 shows, so I'm technically not qualified to speak on the season as a whole. From what I have seen though, ConRevo had a stellar first episode.
I will protect this smile.
He never will be able anymore.
I really like that they incorporated parts of The Beginning in the new ED, especially noticeable at 0:26 or so. Or is it just yet another version of The Beginning and I just can't tell? I don't exactly have the ear for these sorts of things.
thanks for the reply
I thought that was the case with the first part, but what confused me was why they were so blatant about messing with Gagon. The point of causing an accident was so the bureau wouldn't be implicated, but they clearly interfered with Gagon and anyone who put enough thought into the situation could come to the conclusion that the bureau caused the accident.
I can't remember what line it was specifically, but Jaguar mentioned a driver when talking about the trains, although I suppose the trains could be remote controlled. And I don't think the line I'm thinking of was the one about what they'd have the news say with the driver missing a light.
But I didn't really consider the protesters being shallow for some reason, I thought there was something deeper that I missed going on there.
Yeah, Kotetsujou, Joker Game and Kagewani had some of the better first episodes among what I've seen so far.
I try to keep an ear to the ground at the start of a season since I've almost missed several decent/fun shows just because they didn't have frequent threads on /a/.
