So I just finished Haruhi movie, and also there's no thread so discuss.
I would have chosen the form.
>Kyon didn't use the opportunity to fug ponytail Haruhi
>No repercussions since he'd be going back to his world anyways
That's weird because I thought the movie was the best thing in the franchise, and the series the worst part of it. the romance between haruhi and Mc just seems too forced imo.
The Endless Eight (If that's what you're talking about) was pretentious overrated bullshit, It's the same fucking thing repeated six times, the arc could have been much better if they resume the thing in two or three episodes.
Let me guess, you watched it far after it aired. Between 2011-2013 I presume. This is normal to those who doesn't have to wait a week for another episode (without next episode preview) just to find that that shit was still going. But after the dust settled, we laughed about it saltily. Which you don't, ergo; newfag.
Yes but he wanted to be with her just because it was fun? Without saying that haruhi pretty much has the mind of a six years old, selfish, inmature, and the world could be fucking destroyed because of her. being around her is quite the pain in my opinion, just look at all Yuki N went through.
what I said isn't false if you have to wait a week by episode and feel the hype of the moment to enjoy it then you're lying to yourself about the quality of the show ergo nostalgiafag.
And yes, I noticed that each chapter it passed the number of times the world repeated itself increased by seven days, so I can picture that between that week they were living the same thing seven times.
Fill the form and live a long happy life with Nagato?
Or press Y key and live a "fun" life with haruhi?
What would you choose /a?
I was reading Rampage, when I noticed that there was something different about the first part of Endless Eight. When he's watching the baseball game, Kyon's sister isn't present. He answers the phone by himself.
So that means It was added to that scene by whoever wrote the screenplay for the first episode of Endless Eight.
Shoji Gatoh, the author of Full Metal Panic, is responsible for Kyon-kun, denwa
Quads get to live a fun live with haruhi.
Trips get to live with Nagato.
I can't remember much from the series or movie at all and I definately can't remember Disappearance being as good as people say it is. Should I rewatch it? I'm not sure I'll be able to appreciate it much while barely remembering anything about the show.
Just watch the movie the rest is shit. Maybe watch live alive from the first season.
I'd choose Yuki too but continually find a way to bring back all the supernatural stuff. Sfterall a shadow Asakura exists in that world and some errors might also exist in that world.
The movie is amazing and just masterfully crafted. And it had tons of Yuki, which is never a bad thing.
Nagato world might seem fine, but I'm sure it was all fucked up and unstable. Knife-girl's actions suggest that messed up
Yukicreated a deeply messed up world. And who knows what else could go wrong.
This. So glad they had that talk on the roof. She really deserves some kind words.
that's basically what yuki-chan was
>messed up world
the world yuki created was perfect, she even brought back asakura because she felt that she was the perfect guardian, not only because she had the same powers that original yuki had but because she felt bad that asakura had to be killed in the first place
it was also her way of giving the middle finger to the overmind since it knew from the start what yuki and asakura would do
asakura only meant to protect yuki-chan by killing the kyon that had chosen not to stay, since he would be replaced with the kyon that stayed thus preserving the peace of yuki's new world
>that's basically what yuki-chan was
Not really. That blob had nothing to do with Yuki. Even with the timid character in the alternative reality. And more importantly: The things that happend in this altered reality in the movie were much more exciting than everything that happend in this god-awful spinoff.
Is it really that bad?
It literally isn't read the LN.
Good animation alone doesn't make a good movie. And yes, the Haruhi movie is good, but it doesn't reach the creativity of the series in regards to the plot and character developement.
What's the deal with the movie ED? Does that song has some deep meaning or something?
Or it was so simplistic just to save budget.
How do you even come to this conclusion?
>Just watch the movie the rest is shit. Maybe watch live alive from the first season.
What the hell?
The whole reason the movie was so good was because the entire series was building up to it.
Good for you OP.
Now you can rewatch the entire series with us every sunday.
this scene still makes me cry like a faggot
God damn you're an idiot. The song is sung by Nagato and the lyrics are deeply personal to her character. If you actually understood moon then that song would be an absolute tear jerker after seeing the film for the first time.
Reiclone Yuki is the only Yuki I like.
>Still, your loud voice is better than any medicine right now. – The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, chapter six.
>Haruhi’s yelling was sweet music to my ears. – The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, chapter six.
>Haruhi put one hand on my shoulder, its power causing a slight change in my lower region. – Random Numbers.
I can't wait to watch Disappearance again this christmas and have my soul broken in two, again.
And then get hyped up for absolutely nothing when the site starts doing weird shit again.
This is our Endless Eight.
>This is our Endless Eight.
It's the most real and true suffering.
Well just learning that Kyon is John Smith and that there's an SOS brigade and all that stuff fast-forwarded the development of alternate Haruhi
Let's make Haruhi eternal together anon!
I didn't watch Haruhi airing sadly but I still watch Endless 8 everytime, it's grown on me like some sort of stockholm syndrome.
This song sends my sides into orbit everytime I hear it
