Episode 99 was great. Loved it. And to think that the Synchro arc had to end for things to turn exciting again.
In this episode we finally had the entire cast interact with eachother again. We had them interact with their monsters and environments again.
Basically. It brought back what was lost stepping into the Synchro arc. And it's all exciting again.

That said. Episode 100 was really cool too. But very weird, even for being a recap episode.
For starters, almost half the recap was of episode 99, which aired back to back to episode 100. That was the weirdest thing.

Additionally, Tsukikage got more development than I ever expected a guy who looks that much like a jobber to ever get. Although, that was largely backstory.
