Is anyone else hyped for this?
Here's the Drama CD:
>Web Working is as good as the previous Working.
Sell me on it.
The MC looks bland and boring as fuck, and his character info said almost nothing about him either, apart from being serious and is working part-time because 'reasons'.
In the PVs (the old AF one and this one) he comes off as rather boring, but that's just Higashida with his usual poker face, you do see him showing plenty of other sides of himself in the story.
He's actually rather proactive.
He's like a mxture of Takanashi and Satou, plus his own thing.
On the other hand, Miyakoshi can be as dumb as Yamada, as naive as Poplar, is Chief as Yachiyo (her body type is also the same) and has a similar hairstyle to Inami's (but a bit longer), plus her own characteristics.
Adachi and Muranushi are like Ichimiya and Chihaya from SxS.
Shiho and Yuuta are their own thing. Shiho is crazy as fuck.
I'm happy enough that the main series had already ended, so, sure, why not.
>you'll never be free from Working
Just like real life.
Wow, it's like they took the second worst character from Working!, and split them into 2 people.
But as long as there's no Yamada then this one is already superior.
The webcomic was the first "Working" that Takatsu Karino wrote. She began writing it in 2002.
The Working series you watched was another work she did when she worked with Young GanGan, which she began working on during 2004.
The webcomic ended in 2012 whereas the serialised one ended in 2014.
That being said, the webcomic is being serialised now as well. It began being serialised last year.
I'm assuming it'll be good, but "will it be as good as the original Working" is a tougher question.
If there isn't an Inami clone then it stands a fair chance at it. Or at least, it could be on a similar scale if its cast as a whole isn't quite as good but there's no Inami.
This was definitely not something I was expecting. Might be cool, but I'm still sad to see our friends at our old Wagnaria go. I hope it'll be just as good. Though I will admit having a whole new cast is gonna feel weird.
>there are people who believe Inami is a bad character
>he doesn't know
So you are a newfag, good to know.
>implying Yamada is the worst girl and Yachiyo second worst
Holy fuck, how is it possible to have taste this shit?
nigga I looked up both series in the few minutes you took to think of something condescending to say. You're not a newfag for no knowing, just uninformed.
>try not to shitpost for a while
That's rich coming from you. How about you stop being anal over things that don't matter in order to feel superior on the internet.
So does this count as a prequel or sequel or alternate universe or what? What's the relation of the setting in this show to that of the other Working!!?
>there are people that like Inami
Most of /a/ has agreed, since a few episodes into S1, that the show would be far better without her.
What boggles my mind is there are also people who don't like Yamada. I bet they're even the same people who like Inami.
Fuck all your shitty autistic quarrels, have some Spooky Working
Spin-off, focus on a different branch. You actually see them in vol 13 of the manga.
>most /a/ agreed
Nope, a very vocal part did
probably because they were inserting too hard as the MCbut as the episodes went most people that hated inami either stopped hating her, of course there's some people that don't like her, there's no character that everyone likes or nobody dislikes, that just doesn't exists.
Liking a character or not and thinking a character is bad or not are actually quite different things. I didn't really like Inami, but she did undergo char development over the series so I don't think she's a bad char overall.
Have more spooky working
I think I'm really liking this Spin-off idea.
no best girl though
I want her mom to do lewd things to me.
Said she got preggers in high school.
Can't wait for /a/ to shit up the threads calling her slut when it airs.
>try reading Web Working
>it's like Working except with twice as many characters in less than a tenth the time
>instead of being cute and funny it's just overwhelming and a pain in the ass to get through
>Still no ServantxService s2
So is Working and that got fully animated, what's your point?
SxS was a lot shorter than working and it got almost everything adaptated, I don't know how sales went but I'm guessing not so good since we didn't even had an ova, also
>not knowing about working april's fools joke
>not knowing about working april's fools joke
This. That shit was clearly planned in advance and Working had a bunch of spin-offs so they were certainly planning to milk that shit.
Inami started off as a generic 'punch the MC' girl. But grew better in season 2 by slowly getting away from punching the MC and actually talking to him. In other words, there was character development.
Yamada's entire role in the show from the start was just to run into a room and interrupt people. And she stays this way all the way to the end of season 3. And the big episode that is suppose to explain why she is this way ended up being the dumbest part of the whole show. Honestly, I question why people like Yamada at all unless they are really obsessed with blue haired girls or loved Koala Su in Love Hina.
If the removal of anyone would improve Working, it would be removing Yamada.
this wasn't an april fool's joke?
this is actually happening?
Instead, they should have a spin off focused on Popura going to college. As well as being the new manager of Wagnaria.
Basically, a show about Popura struggling to make it in a world of tall people. There would also be a new crew of workers at the restaurant she would play off of. And a second group of characters at her college.
All of them are taller than her of course.
Anyone else think that the girl in the PV at first was Inami?
Your own fault for not just learning moon.
Spooky-chan is a friend of Satou, apparently.
Oh wait, my bad, it wasn't vol 13, it's re order.
